It's clear Colleen fosters a fantastic environment, as the entire staff under her wing reflects this same enthusiasm.
Every team member has a welcoming smile and goes out of their way to make the visit enjoyable, clearly showing they take pride in their work and truly enjoy what they do.

I was also impressed by the impeccable cleanliness throughout the dining area, and the bathrooms were absolutely spotless.

I even noticed the creative condiment dispenser labels, adding a fun touch to a thoroughly professional visit.

“My friend was ordering their meal (The Works & Pepsi) and the woman (Alexis) behind the counter knew that I was having trouble deciding so she gave me some recommendations. “This is a large, bright and very clean restaurant with a firefighter themed vibe.
My wife and I dropped by for lunch. We received a friendly greeting and were helped with our choice. A cheese steak sandwich was our choice - we split a 12 inch and decided to split an order of fries. Our order came hot and very tasty, with lots of tender, well seasoned beef plus fried onions and peppers with a nice sauce. Fries were crispy and good. I took a trip to the Hot Sauce Bar and added some scorpion hot sauce to my sub. A great choice.“

“This is a rare find in today's sea of chain restaurants making the same tasteless processed crap in each location. A family owned, independently run restaurant. We needed a quick bite and Peterborough doesn't have a lot going on. I got a chicken souvlaki pita. I don't eat sauce and I'm usually disappointed by the chicken. At Ace's the large chunks of white chicken were flavorful and juicy with a distinct grilled taste. The wrap was also nicely charred. Fresh cut veggies on my wrap and my husband's sub. A great spot. Cash only though which I wouldn't have had except we were on vacation. We never carry cash.“

“I got the plant based burger, I love the a&w plant based burger, I just need to remove mayo to make it vegan! The only thing I would say is that I don't see why the burger is more expensive than say the mama burger. I also think a&w should make a plant based small cheap snack sized burger!“

“Wow the amount of fries you get here. A large will definitely feed a small family, but for sure 2 people. I got a small, maybe called regular fries, not a 100% sure, but was well more than enough for 1 person. Tge fries are cooked good, not undercooked. I like mine a little crispy, but they were still cooked good. Prices are fair. Will definitely go back. A big improvement from other chip trucks that have been in this location.“

“Stopped by Freshii on a weeknight after work and grabbed the Thai Chicken Crunch bowl, which was fresh and packed with way more veggies than I expected. The spot was quiet around 7pm so I got my order fast and had my pick of seats by the window. Staff behind the counter were friendly and patient while I worked through the build your own menu for the first time. Good casual option if you are wandering downtown Peterborough and want something that will not weigh you down.“

“I came in about half an hour to close and the service was excellent! A young man was at the till and was extremely kind and very helpful when I was asking about blizzard flavors and allergins. I got my 4 blizzards in under 10 min and everyone was so very kind. Love this establishment and will be returning in the future!! Thanks so much!!“

“This is the nicest Harvey's location I've ever been to, the food was delicious and the staff were very good and quick. Other than one older heavy set female that was maybe a manager? She had glasses on and she was yelling and being rude to the employees that were working hard. It's located right on the water and has a lot of picnic tables outside.“

“We just ordered from inside the restaurant, and we had the most wonderful experience and it was all thanks to Julie at the front end! She has the most wonderful customer service and she knows the menu so well!! If your not sure what you want she got you and I’m definitely going back just to see her“

“Food is always delicious, I really like the new renovations. Service was great. We even got a lot of extra sauce and coupons.
The only downfall is I ordered the party pack because I used to order it all the time. Which it would come with 2 fries and 2 chips along with tacos. But the party pack I brought home was just strictly tacos. I didn't even second guess things. I was just disappointed and so were our kids when they didn't see the fries.“

“Came for takeout today & the staff member Riya was an absolute pleasure to encounter. She was super kind, friendly, & professional. The store was also very clean (floors, counters, glass etc). I have a Subway location closer to home that misses the mark in comparison to this location. Will definitely be coming back to this one again. Thank you!“

“The lady working the drive through windows today was spectacular she deserves a raise. I asked if they did pup cups when ordering and they said no but when I got to the window the lady put frosty ice cream in a little cup for our puppy Gus and it was very sweet“
