“The ramen was decent in cost, size and value of meal, and over all taste. My well portioned for one bowl was $20 with pick up tip.
They should be a bit quicker to make food if it’s a pick up order, but food is fresh and tasty.

It’s very clean and the service is good enough. It’s actually a great place to stop in and get good value ramen on a whim or random night. On that scale it’s a 4/5“

“There are many ramen places in this part of North York and this is definitely one of the tastier ones. Noodles are cooked perfectly and the broth is always piping hot, delicious and flavourful. You can always count on getting a delicious bowl of noodles at this place. The service is always precise and efficient.“

“y'all gotta try their sushi menu which is available on certain weekends from Friday evening to Sunday, I am a lover of sushi pizza and this is by far the best ever!!!! the chirashi don is thick slices of fish and so so fresh, their raw fish is so fresh and I try to get it everytime it's available. Best to call first to check but even if you go and they don't have it, their ramen is the best, big portions and flavor is always on point.“

“Have been to this location several times however to my recollection this is the only time we were not allowed split bills (four individual) but instead were offered two split bills.

We did end up arguing to get four split bills - this is mostly for those planning to come here in the future with a group.
Isshin will argue they can only do two split bills rather than individual.

The ramen was delicious as always, noodles were chewy. Broth was good.
We were seated outdoors which was luckily comfortable on that date.
Service was quick, however the server taking our orders was somehow confused with one of our orders
(ramen plus substitute thick noodles + extra order of thick noodles - ended up with I believe substitute thick noodles and extra order of thin noodles, possible server was new).

Would still come here again but keeping in mind split bill policy which is something I don't really agree with (just because the restaurant does not want to pay the extra POS transaction fee).“

“I used to love coming to Midori Ramen, and I still think the food is really good. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time the service has let the experience down, so I'm changing my review from 5 stars to 4.

I came for lunch because eating out is usually quicker, but it took almost 50 minutes for our full meal. We arrived around 2:15 p.m. and weren't able to place our order until about 2:20 p.m. after having to wave down a server. We weren't given water, cutlery, or told about any specials or deals.

When we arrived, there were only about three occupied tables, but several empty tables still had dirty bowls on them, and it looked like the staff were struggling to keep up. Our appetizers didn't arrive until about 30 minutes after ordering, and the rest of the meal took even longer.

To top it off, our table was so wobbly that it felt like we were sitting at a Lazy Susan. Every time someone rested an arm on the table or reached for something, it rocked back and forth. It's a small thing, but it definitely added to the overall experience.

I could understand if this was a one time experience, but this is the second visit where I've had to wait an unusually long time for food. The quality of the ramen is still excellent, which is why I'm still giving 4 stars, but I really hope they can improve the service and speed because the food deserves it.“

“I had a wonderful dining experience here! The restaurant offers a great variety of food choices, and everything we ordered was of high quality. The ramen was exceptional—especially the soft-boiled eggs (ajitama), which were cooked to absolute perfection with a delicious, runny yolk.
You can really tell that the team puts their heart and soul into preparing the food. On top of that, the service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back for more!“

“My bf ordered the curry katsu and was disappointed with the sauce he got. We both tasted it and it was sweet. It almost tasted like a sweet rose sauce or a Filipino spaghetti sauce. Definitely didn’t taste like curry at all. They portions of the chicken katsu was very generous and overall sides and all were tasty. It was just the sauce that didn’t stay on par to what we expected.“

“Had a great experience at Kinton Ramen! I ordered the Spicy Veggie Garlic Ramen, and it was delicious—rich, flavorful, and with just the right amount of spice. “Seats are comfortable and service is friendly. We walked in wednesday at noon and we enjoyed the space by ourselves happily. the black garlic soup ramens are good but we are disappointed that they are charging extra for green tea and the green tea comes in lukewarm and they use plastic tea bags. Will never order the tea again. Staff is very good though.“

“The staff are very polite, and the chef in the back are very quick. I put some new items on the menu and the Ramen is as good as it’s always been. I recommend the softshell crab as an appetizer, It’s in high demand so it’s usually sold out.“

“Honestly… I was completely shocked when I tried gimbap from Menkatsu for the first time. I’m not the type of person who eats “basic” kimbap. I always go for spicy pork or tuna gimbap, something with flavor. I never choose the regular one because I think it’s too blend for my preference.

But one day I saw someone eating the basic gimbap at the food court, and it just looked so good. Even the smell was amazing. So I ordered it just to try… and WOW.

I’m not exaggerating, it was insane. I’ve never had a basic gimbap that good in my life. From that day, I kept thinking about it. Even after a rough day, I’d find myself wanting that gimbap and nothing else.

So whenever I had time, I would literally drive 25 minutes one way just to buy it. But one day, I went there and… they told me they don’t make gimbap anymore. I was honestly extremely heartbroken. They said it was because not enough people were buying it, but… I was really shocked and so sad.
If I had never tasted it, maybe I wouldn’t care. But now that I know how good it was, I can’t stop thinking about it. And I can’t find that taste anywhere else.

I truly hope the owner will reconsider. That basic kimbap was really something special. I sincerely hope it comes back.

차라리 그 김밥 맛을 모르고 살았으면 덜 힘들었을 텐데 그 맛을 알아버려서 더 미치겠는 거예요. 어디에서도 그 맛을 찾을 수가 없어요.

혹시라도 사장님이 다시 한 번 reconsider 해주셨으면 좋겠어요. Menkatsu 에서 파는 김밥은 진짜 특별했어요ㅠㅠ 다시 돌아오길 진심으로 바랍니다. 젭알요,,“
