“The ramen is delicious with a thick and rich soup booth with extra noodle and a bowl of free rice. The restaurant is having a good vibe with nice servers. There is background music playing Yaosobi's song. The speaker is placed at the corner near next to the indoor shop signage to the left with dynamic punchy bass and a good enough quality sound for female singing voice.“

“stopped in for the shoyu special and the mortal kombat combo. the special shoyu was a 8/10 at absolute best, felt like the flavour was missing richness. the combo was nice and of good value. i still remember when kinton did full size combos for $11. can’t get that anywhere anymore i guess. my only issue was that the original broth tasted awful. used to be my fav and now it was just gross.
service was 10/10 and the manager is super lovely. chill inside and easy to get a weeknight spot.“

“My only regret was not visiting earlier. The shoyu classic was incredibly good; the pork was very tender and the broth was smoky and hearty. Our waitress was very charming and friendly. Bit cramped with lunch crowd but was more focused on the good food. Highly recommend!“

“The Pork Gyoza was decent—nothing special but solid. The real star here is the ramen, which was simply delicious. I tried both the Beef Spicy Jalapeño Ramen and the Pork Spicy Garlic Ramen. The jalapeño ramen had a bold, spicy kick with plenty of jalapeño flavor, while the garlic ramen was outstanding—packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat. If you’re a ramen fan, this spot is definitely worth checking out!“

“Had the classic pork ramen at Kinton on Queen, and it was spot on. The broth was deep and savoury without being oily, the chashu perfectly charred, and the noodles had that ideal bite — not too soft, not too firm. Service was quick, portions generous, and the Sapporo draft rounded everything off perfectly. A reliable go-to for a comforting bowl of ramen in downtown Toronto.“

“Visited this restaurant today and I must say their ramen is one of the absolute best. I had the Red Dragon reman and it was a bomb. if you like your soup loaded with chopped green chillies and a whole red chilli I highly recommend this soup. Truly a masterpiece.“

“Absolutely my favourite ramen place in toronto! I’ve been here multiple times and I only get spicy charsu ramen. However, the first time I went, the meat was so perfectly cooked and then the other two times they were just average. But overall, it tastes extremely good. The only thing is that the environment is not so aesthetic, but still very clean.“

“Took my kids here because they’ve been wanting to try it out, and we had a great experience. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and they were very helpful in showing us how everything worked. The process was easy to follow, and our ramen turned out cooked perfectly. It made the whole experience fun and stress-free, especially with kids. We’ll definitely be back!“

“This location has combos but there are some ramen options that I just don’t find others have. In any case my companion and I ordered the combo for the gyoza, which also comes with a drink for 1-2$ add on.
My companion says the shoyu soup is meh. I ordered the beef, it’s just beef on top. Service fast.
Location is near a $3 per half hour green P parking spot. Seats are bar stool style- so if it’s not your thing, there are lower seat option but all equally uncomfortable. The entrance has somewhere to hang clothing.
Free ice cream with Google reviews-NOT Yelp.
Gyoza is served with a mayonnaise sauce- not my thin“

“A friend brought me to this place today. I’m not really into ramen myself so I can’t really comment on the taste, though I thought the yuzu flavor was quite unique.
What really surprised me was a male server who was extremely friendly. Even though it was the weekend we went early and the restaurant was pretty empty, so we had a little chat. He was funny and warm and even as someone who isn’t a ramen fan, my whole dining experience was very pleasant. Since I drove, I couldn’t drink but I think I’ll come back next time to try their cocktails.
Highly recommended.🥰“

“I never thought I could get a bowl of ramen right in the middle of Union station, but I can, and it was lovely. Plus they have ramune soda. Can't go wrong there either. Only thing is it's in the middle of Union. My recommendation - take the ramen home with you!“

“Had a great experience at Ajisen Ramen. The shrimp yakitori was juicy and flavorful, and the Beyond Meat ramen with vegan black garlic broth was rich and comforting. Sweet potato fries were crispy and delicious, and the lychee Ramune was super refreshing. Service was excellent, and the spacious seating with comfy booths made the whole visit very relaxing. Definitely coming back!“

“I visited this ramen restaurant and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The broth was incredibly flavorful—you could tell it had been simmered for hours, rich and comforting without being too heavy. The service was fast and friendly, always attentive without being intrusive.
If you enjoy authentic, well-prepared ramen, it’s definitely worth visiting. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to.“

“Food/sauce is very flavorful, atmosphere is great and you can watch him making the noodles. What’s not to like?? Oh yeah and the cat robot that delivered our appetizers was awesome! We’re here at noon on a Monday and I can’t believe this place isn’t packed; with this delicious food it should be. We’re on vacation but I wish they had one in Charleston! Two thumbs way up!!“

“I love the frothy Paitan Soy. With the sous vide chashu and chicken and the seasoned egg, it's an amazing bowl. Kaminari is my favourite ramen restaurant in Toronto. The vibe is Tokyo: Japanese design books, great lighting, and a really good, solid state sound system. Most importantly, they have well-made seating and tables that are the right width for conversation. They've thought of everything.“

“Have walked by this place hundreds of times and finally came in on a snowy day. Very solid handmade noodles here that gets pretty much made to order. Sesame beef pancake were great as well, but the heavily advertised popcorn chicken probably isn't worth ordering. This one was dry and overfried, there are better ones out there, but otherwise the noodles there were delicious.“

“Delicious and reasonably priced ramen in the heart of Kensington market. So happy we finally came here. The quantity was amazing and glad we came hungry and left here with full heart and belly. My creamy mushroom ramen which is the only veggie option was delicious. The hot chili powder gave it a nice kick. The service was prompt and our waitress was courteous. The ambiance is very simple but bright and clean. I would come back here for a nice and fulfilling meal.“

“I have dined here twice at their Bank Street location twice. The first time I visited, it was to enjoy one of their delicious ramens for $10 while helping them celebrate their 3rd anniversary. My second time visiting, I enjoyed their new and delicious Black TanTan Ramen and their black sesame seeds that you can crush and sprinkle into your bowl of ramen. 🍜 Also, don't be discouraged by the colour of this ramen's broth, because of its greyish colour. It tastes much better than it looks. 😋“

“My go to take out for lunch whenever I’m in the area. It’s fairly priced and tastes great. They offer a selection of sushi and side dishes along with meals such as chicken katsu don. Their main menu isn’t something to write home about, with only a handful of rice dishes to choose from. However, it’s more than enough and great for a quick pit stop for anyone with a limited lunch break.
My usual lunch time is 2pm, and it’s when the lunch crowds starts slowing down. I recommend to avoid this Bay-Adelaide food courts entirely during lunch time, as office workers would make it hard to find seats. Any time before 12pm or after 1:30pm is when I would recommend to come try this place out. If you work in the area and have a set lunch break, then this advice is irrelevant to you.“

“This place is definitely worth a visit for ramen lovers. I had the wagyu ramen and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were so rich and satisfying. The service was also quite good, adding to the overall pleasant experience. I would highly recommend trying this dish. Of all the places I've visited for Ramen, this ranks the best as far as tastes goes.“

“Great bowl of noodles and good portion. I prefer wider noodles and they were cooked perfectly. Adjust the broth to your taste and it's great, I drank almost all of it. Only wish the chili oil given on the table had a lot more kick, but my friend said his spicy bowl was adequetly hot.“
