“This is our second time here, and it’s consistent! We got the Tomato cheese ramen - the cheese was torched over the chasu and it tasted so smoky and savoury. We also got the curry udon noodles that were thick and chewy, SO bombbbbb. I had a wonderful meal at this small business that’s cutely
decorated. The food and presentation was 10/10, the owner was so wonderful, sweet, and welcoming, I’ll definitely be back!“

“Loved this place, came with my family and the service was amazing . The food was to die for. And they honestly were really amazing with my kids. I know it’s hard to take your family out sometimes and sometimes you share what you all have. But how they treated us so amazing with sharing the meal with my family of 4, and we only ordered 2 meals. And the waitress was so amazing because my kids really wanted tot try the ice cream but it wasn’t in the budget… but she saw how bad they wanted it and gave it to them on the house. I’m telling you now I will be coming here a lot more.“

“We had Amy as our waitress at Ajisen Ramen (Yonge & Eglinton) and she was honestly so sweet. We didn’t end up liking the food we ordered, but she was super understanding and handled everything really nicely.

“The ramen is delicious with a thick and rich soup booth with extra noodle and a bowl of free rice. The restaurant is having a good vibe with nice servers. There is background music playing Yaosobi's song. The speaker is placed at the corner near next to the indoor shop signage to the left with dynamic punchy bass and a good enough quality sound for female singing voice.“

“stopped in for the shoyu special and the mortal kombat combo. the special shoyu was a 8/10 at absolute best, felt like the flavour was missing richness. the combo was nice and of good value. i still remember when kinton did full size combos for $11. can’t get that anywhere anymore i guess. my only issue was that the original broth tasted awful. used to be my fav and now it was just gross.

service was 10/10 and the manager is super lovely. chill inside and easy to get a weeknight spot.“

“The Pork Gyoza was decent—nothing special but solid. The real star here is the ramen, which was simply delicious. I tried both the Beef Spicy Jalapeño Ramen and the Pork Spicy Garlic Ramen. The jalapeño ramen had a bold, spicy kick with plenty of jalapeño flavor, while the garlic ramen was outstanding—packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat. If you’re a ramen fan, this spot is definitely worth checking out!“

“Visited this restaurant today and I must say their ramen is one of the absolute best. I had the Red Dragon reman and it was a bomb. if you like your soup loaded with chopped green chillies and a whole red chilli I highly recommend this soup. Truly a masterpiece.“

“Absolutely my favourite ramen place in toronto! I’ve been here multiple times and I only get spicy charsu ramen. However, the first time I went, the meat was so perfectly cooked and then the other two times they were just average. But overall, it tastes extremely good. The only thing is that the environment is not so aesthetic, but still very clean.“

“This location has combos but there are some ramen options that I just don’t find others have. In any case my companion and I ordered the combo for the gyoza, which also comes with a drink for 1-2$ add on.

My companion says the shoyu soup is meh. I ordered the beef, it’s just beef on top. Service fast.

Location is near a $3 per half hour green P parking spot. Seats are bar stool style- so if it’s not your thing, there are lower seat option but all equally uncomfortable. The entrance has somewhere to hang clothing.

“Delicious and fresh. Ordered the spicy beef. The noodles have a great texture and the broth itself is flavourful and does not feel too oily. In terms of spice, you can change the broth to suit your level of tolerance. After leaving the restaurant I did not feel full or have that heavy feeling with my stomach. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other dishes. The service was very good and all were friendly who came to the table.“

“A friend brought me to this place today. I’m not really into ramen myself so I can’t really comment on the taste, though I thought the yuzu flavor was quite unique.

What really surprised me was a male server who was extremely friendly. Even though it was the weekend we went early and the restaurant was pretty empty, so we had a little chat. He was funny and warm and even as someone who isn’t a ramen fan, my whole dining experience was very pleasant. Since I drove, I couldn’t drink but I think I’ll come back next time to try their cocktails.

“One of the best ramen spots in Toronto, hands down.

The broth is rich and flavorful without being too heavy, and you can really taste the care that goes into it. The chashu is melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the egg is perfectly soft with a creamy yolk.

The toppings are fresh and generous, and every bite feels balanced and satisfying. The karaage was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavor. It honestly feels like the chicken, sauces, and even the noodles are made in-house — everything has that handmade quality.

The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Amazing value for authentic ramen.

Already planning to bring my girlfriend back here… looks like this is going to be our new ramen spot.

“I never thought I could get a bowl of ramen right in the middle of Union station, but I can, and it was lovely. Plus they have ramune soda. Can't go wrong there either. Only thing is it's in the middle of Union. My recommendation - take the ramen home with you!“

“Had a great experience at Ajisen Ramen. The shrimp yakitori was juicy and flavorful, and the Beyond Meat ramen with vegan black garlic broth was rich and comforting. Sweet potato fries were crispy and delicious, and the lychee Ramune was super refreshing. Service was excellent, and the spacious seating with comfy booths made the whole visit very relaxing. “We've been to a few Ramen Isshin locations before and as usual the food and service were great. The Chashu Don could have had more meat but it was otherwise delicious and filling enough. The spicy miso is our usual go-to and it was consistently good. The happy hour is nice to have with a meal. The hoji cha shaved ice dessert was very good too. We will be returning here again.“

“Probably the best ramen place I’ve been to so far. Their spicy ramen is actually spicy. The staff is so sweet and polite. The restaurant in general is very clean. Been back 4 times since my first visit.

Vegetarian options: Don’t remember what vegetarian options they had, but I do remember seeing an option.“

“First time eating at the Ajisen Ramen. At the Steeles and Warden location. We ordered Pork Original ramen, Tender Pork Ribs Original ramen, and a Spicy Beef Ramen. The service was good and the wait wasn't too bad. Parking was challenging during dinner hours.“

“I recently visited Midori Ramen and tried their signature Tori Buta, and this wasn’t just a bowl of ramen, it was a carefully composed flavor experience.

The broth is richly fatty, but purposefully so. It’s deep, velvety, and full of umami, with a buttery richness that lingers just long enough to let every layer of flavor unfold. It tastes like it was simmered slowly and thoughtfully, not simply prepared.

The pork slices were beautifully tender, gently seared, and incredibly juicy. Soft, mildly smoky, and full of flavor, they didn’t just sit in the bowl, they belonged there.

The marinated egg was a standout: creamy center, silky texture, and perfectly seasoned, more than a topping, it was an essential part of the harmony.

What impressed me most was the balance, the broth is rich and fatty, yet never heavy. Every element contributes to the taste rather than just decorating the bowl.
