“We found this café by chance while looking for sandwiches, and it was such a nice surprise. I have been to mainland China and Hong Kong, and the milk tea here tastes very authentic. The egg tarts were just right, not too sweet, and the buns were delicious.

“I'm in a large wheelchair, and there was a great customer and Lady who works there, ready to open the door for me. Same, for when I needed to leave: Thank You! 💝 I ordered the spanokopita, because of someone else's review. When I can return again, I will try your custard pie, again, because of the great reviews. It seems that I should try your coffees too! 😉Even though it might seem like a small space, it's delightful, and very spacious, especially considering my large wheelchair.“

“Lamanna’s Bakery was added in our Must Visit list and we finally understand why during our first visit!

They have a huge selection of Italian pastries and gelato, freshly made. Please don’t skip or leave without tasting at least their Bomboloni. Their Tiramisu is also good! We’ll definetely be back to try out more.

The pizza slices, on the other hand, looks amazing, but the Magherita slice just didn’t make it for us… Unfortunately, the sauce was
bland and lacked in favour. However, the pizza slices had the perfect texture and amount of cheese — very generous portions, great to share amongst others. Would probably try a different flavour next time.

As a vegetarian option, their vegetarian lasagna is highly recommended… very filling and yet again, generous portions, and great service from the staff to ask us if we wanted extra sauce.

I appreciate the different queue lines created for savoury and sweet foods — it’s time efficient instead of having just one line.

“Unique and high quality, just like any Japanese bakery should be. Ask before buying. Some items are sweet and some are not (like Mashroom sandwiches). The sweet ones are mildly sweet, as if showing carefulness and control over use of too much sugars, and I like it allot. They also serve some excellent drinks including macha tea. Everything is unique and tasty. It's a very interesting place.“

It’s rare for me to call a cake perfect but this strawberry cake is one of the best cakes I’ve had in the city. It’s in the top 3 up with Sản Remos Vanilla cake. I recommend to anyone! “Genuine authentic old school Chinese pastry shop, need I say more.Come on. They have a photo of Martin Yan "can cook" hanging on their wall stating this is his favorite Lo paw biang "wife cake" place.Most wife cakes I've had didn't have that much filling of almond paste/winter melon, however theirs had plenty. I only wish the winter melon pieces were larger so you get that slight crunch with each bite.They also make those spongy airy mochi like rice cakes which are hard to find due to the difficult cooking process. Unfortunately they are only made on Saturday available at 0930 and sell out fast.I miss my Martin Yan Can Cook tv shows, Gordon Ramsay doesn't even come close, truth.“

“I pre-ordered a few dozen empanadas as gifts to relatives this Christmas. Arvin was very accommodating since I rescheduled pick-up due to the weather. Of course we had to get some for our family too. The pastry was so tasty. I actually enjoyed the vegetable filling but my fave is the pork. We had a few leftovers that I put in the fridge. Popped it in the oven for a few minutes and it tasted like it’s freshly made. Yum!“

I have missed Victor's innovative menu creations during his Chino Loco days, and now he's closer too 😁 (in a very easy to park plaza).

I picked up an assortment of banh mi, ranging from their grilled meats, to honey garlic bbq pork to their cool June flavour of the month Gochujang chicken with cucumbers and homemade kimchi! Their buns are closer to French baguettes with a nice chew giving a delightful contrast to the succulent filling. I had such a nice conversation with Grace, who has this bakery in her blood since childhood and is looking to strike a balance with classic and trendy offerings. So happy to pick up some Chinese pastries too- beef, curry beef and pork pastries for a snack later. Looks golden flaky goood 🤤. I think the addition of banh mi with the limited change up of flavours keeps it fun and fresh!
