The mango mousse was sweet, creamy, light and a perfect hint of tartness with the addition of mango pieces folded into the mousse. “Came back after a long time to this place, it's very underrated and should be the best place in Scarborough my fav food in the menu is Vada. Always a number one hit, very crunchy and very neat and organized foods my daughters and my son love the veggie rolls so good makes my mouth water for more, very quick and amazing service. You can't get these types of vada in India. Definitely recommend if you love South Indian food very worth it. 10/10 ❤️

They have a photo of Martin Yan "can cook" hanging on their wall stating this is his favorite Lo paw biang "wife cake" place.Most wife cakes I've had didn't have that much filling of almond paste/winter melon, however theirs had plenty. I only wish the winter melon pieces were larger so you get that slight crunch with each bite.They also make those spongy airy mochi like rice cakes which are hard to find due to the difficult cooking process. Unfortunately they are only made on Saturday available at 0930 and sell out fast.I miss my Martin Yan Can Cook tv shows, Gordon Ramsay doesn't even come close, truth.“

MOFU creates an equally smooth mouthfeel topped with a sweetened strawberry, and whipped cream with an underlying chocolate graham crust. I've lived in Scarborough my entire life and have driven past this spot countless times. My sister insisted I try this spot for lunch and wow, I was not disappointed!

The food is amazing, tastes just like my mom and grandfather used to make and reminds me of being back in Italy! The bread is amazing and the lunch / dinner meal are a great deal. I had the veal with olive oil and garlic pasta and veggies!

They also offer frozen meals, which I purchased, for dinner. The staff are very friendly and the sitting room has a very Italian-feel. I've become an instant regular!“

“This is an update to the review that I posted 6 months ago. I went to the Allen’s Patty location on Kennedy Road on Dec 6th to pick up my order of a dozen plantain tarts, that I had ordered a week before. I was worried that they wouldn’t be ready since I had ordered them a week before. I called the store just before driving over to pick up my order, and it was ready, like Johnny on the spot.
I also found out that Karen the previous owner had sold the business, so it’s under new ownership. Karen is one of the nice person ever and she will be missed.
However, as the saying goes changes are good, and with the new ownership comes solutions to the 2 issues that I had with this location.
The new ownership has now implemented payment by debit and credit card. This is huge because now if i run out of cash I can payment electronically. Before if I ran out of cash I had to drive around to find a near by ATM to withdraw money. This was frustrating for me, and a waste of time.

Previously the store was closed during the lunch hour from 12:00 noon to 1:00 . You are selling an item (i. e patties etc) that is primarily eaten as a lunch cuisine and closed during lunch time. It didn’t make sense to me. I am usually in Markham for business meetings and it’s during the 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm period that I would be available to swing by to pick a few items but, I was unable to do so because they are usually closed during this time.
However, with the new ownership the store is now open during lunch time from 12:00 noon to 1 pm. Which I believe is a massive improvement.

So, congratulations and nuff respect to the new owner(s) for recognizing the need for these improvements, and for implementing them immediately.“

“I believe many people have tried this Cinnabon. This is my first time eating it. It tastes very sweet. If you like sweet things, this will be perfect for you. I am not a big fan of chocolate, but I think the chocolate it contains is easy to eat and tastes quite good.
I believe many people have tried Cinnabon before, and it was my first time trying it too. The taste is incredibly sweet. If you already enjoy eating sweet treats, then it will be very suitable for you. Personally, I'm not someone who particularly loves chocolate, but I found the chocolate in their pastry quite easy to enjoy, and the taste was quite good.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ LÀ LÁ Bakeshop - an outstanding little Vietnamese 🇻🇳 bakery. I haven’t had anything that I didn’t love. It’s rare for me to call a cake perfect but this strawberry cake is one of the best cakes I’ve had in the city. It’s in the top 3 up with Sản Remos Vanilla cake. I recommend to anyone! The Vietnamese Coffee also reminds me of grabbing a Cả phê sự đã from @highlandscoffeevietnam in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. We will definitely be back!“
