The place is nice and clean, friendly staff to talk about the different types of spicy curry there is, music just relaxing to hear. Had two different Chicken Curries and loved them in my two visits. Garlic Naan is great to dip in the sauce for eating the curry. Refreshing beverages to have you can’t go wrong. Would love to try the spiciest Curry at the Niagara Falls location one day. For me I rate 10 out of 10. 😃 👍🏻”

“Run! Don’t walk to this place!! We ordered a Med Party tray, Hamashi Sashimi, seaweed salad, Nigiri Tobiko. The pictures speak for themselves, super fresh, large cuts, bursting with flavour! We’ve also previously ordered Poke bowls both Tuna and Salmon and were blown away how fresh, flavourful and filling the portions are. What a fabulous addition to the St Catharine’s/Lincoln food scene!! Oh, and the folks running the show are kind, appreciative, highly skilled and professional. I’ve finally found my local Sushi fix after 4 years of searching 🙏”

I experienced the Black and Blue pasta. Simply delectable. Last night we returned for an early Valentine’s Day dinner. This time I could not resist the Steak Gorgonzola. So incredibly decadent, so delicious. My wife had the Penne Alfredo with Lobster and Crab. Also a beautifully presented dish that was delicious. The Caesar salad is definitely worth the upgrade too. Cozy and warm dining experience with a great staff. We are looking forward to coming back soon. There’s just too many delicious options on that menu. See you soon!”

Scott individually wrapped an assortment of tarts including Skor, Turtles, Raisonette, etc. We used them as favours at each table setting and the rest were left on a tray by the door. “This was our 1st visit to the de la terre bakery location. We have been huge fans of their sourdough bread for many years because it is delivered to a few businesses near our house. It’s a dangerous place to visit. Everything is too good. We bought a few loaves of the Honey Butter Sourdough which is one of the best loaves of bread I’ve ever had. We also tried a Croissant dough cinnamon roll. It has a similar flavour and taste as a Kouign Amann French pastry. I don’t have any pics because everything was eaten too quickly.”

Julia and TJ are the owners and the chefs and the servers in the small rustic beautiful place. And they are genuinely lovely, beautiful people with great auras all around. They went thru a tough time during and after covid. People like these should never have rough times. So go support them and get the Cutlet on a Kaiser with the Po-Do grape drink and show them some love!! <3”

“The Lazy Lizard was hopping last night- we enjoyed delicious food (the broasted chicken is my absolute favourite!) Service started out as a 2/10 from 3 servers, when we were seated I asked for a drink menu and was told they didn’t have one (when we were there 2 weeks ago and our server provided us with one). My fiancé spotted our server from 2 weeks ago (Andy) and went over and asked her for a drink menu; in which she reached above her head and gave him one. The server (our original server that started with us tonight) that told me they didn’t have a drink menu never looked in our direction for the rest of the night. She continued to deal with tables around us, but ignored us, and continued to talk with the other servers working & spent 10 minutes standing at a table talking to what we presumed to be friends. Not only was Andy serving the patio, she was also taking care of us and multiple other tables inside. She got our food order, drink orders etc. I went as far as to ask her if they split tips or keep them, and disappointingly she said they split them. We would have tipped Andy heavily if she was alone/getting the tip herself, but was modest in tipping because the 3 other servers would have got it as well. Andy is attentive, friendly, and a 10/10. She really cares about the service you receive!”

So easy to work with, incredibly organized, and always quick to answer questions or put our minds at ease. She made the whole planning process seamless.
The food was a huge highlight of the night. We had a mix of apps (buffet style), mains with table service (perfectly cooked steak, salmon, and vegan options), and late-night snacks (sliders, pizza, and more). The kitchen did an outstanding job, and front of house delivered amazing service. Every single guest commented on how delicious everything was, the quality and speed of service were top-notch. For a brewery with a casual vibe, the menu exceeded expectations and truly elevated the evening.
Of course, the beer was fantastic, and the seltzers were a big hit with our crowd too.
On top of that, the Cold Break team handled setup and cleanup beautifully, which gave us more time to actually enjoy our big day instead of worrying about details.

“Went here with a Senior Citizen trip of about 46 people in June. Wondering what to expect being a restaurant attached to a motel and a bowling alley! We got there a little early but did call ahead. The mgr lept to the challenge and got things ready for us. The Wait staff was EXCELLENT. It was a buffet with simple entrees, salad, rolls. Serve your own coffee, tea. We did not hear the bowling alley. The rest. is well decorated, clean, nice furniture. The meat loaf could have been more well done. Dessert was a huge board of assorted greats! Don't pass this place by.”
