“Food is always delicious, only issue I have is the service is not always good and the containers they package the to-go food in is Cheap material. I ordered an omelette and the cheese and moisture from the food made a hole in my paper container if I didn’t notice my food could’ve fell out but other then that the food is always a thumbs up.“

“I ordered delivery from a service that did not follow directions and never received the order until my neighbor found it outside. I called the establishment and the owner himself delivered the order in 20 minutes. He went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this restaurant with a side note that the food was delicious.“

“Of all fast food burgers available in Canada I find Harvey's the best by far, and at least as good as those found at higher prices in more upscale restaurants. I do wish, though, that their buns were a bit wider so that the condiments don't fall off.

The building used to be a church. I personally love that repurposing. (Once saw a church knocked down to put in a Walmart! ) The layout works great: big U-shaped bar surrounded by 4-seat high-top tables. The all-important stainless steel vessels taking the place of the pulpit & choir. 6 big screens are spread around for the sports oriented. There is a room of the back of the main one with big leather-clad easy chairs & an actual fireplace. So cozy.
The free parking is in the back but you have to enter from the Biergarten which is entered from the corner. So, if you or a compadre are using a wheelchair, get dropped off at the corner.
The beer list is pretty broad, 2 pages, the food menu is of decent size.
Got a Lip Lock Cherry stout followed by a Peach Blonde. The stout was less sweet than expected (based on nothing) but nicely balanced. The peach version of the Dirty Blonde was tasty and refreshing.
Ate an Atwater Brat in-between. The brat was OK. The pretzel bun was good, the toppings (cheese, jalapeños, bacon bits) were good, too. The brat itself was the weak spot, tasted too much like a big hotdog.“

Absolutely awesome perch with a generous portion. Loved the atmosphere of the old time era. Staff exceptionally friendly as was the owner. “I went there with my daughters last week. Waitress was okay, very unattentive. I ordered fish and chips. Fish was soggy and fishy, no fries or chips. I ordered a bowl of beer cheese soup, received a cup of beer cheese soup. Had a Bloody Mary with my meal. Worst Bloody Mary I've ever had! The bill came, for three of us to eat, with one beverage a piece...89.00. After checking out the bill realized that the Bloody Mary's alone were $22 a piece! The Bloody Mary actually cost more than my meal did! Would not ever go back and would not ever recommend the place!“

I ordered the beef kabobs, but they were sold out for the night, so they called me and asked if they could upgrade me to a more expensive choice (lamb chops) free of charge.NEXT TIME ILL GO STRAIGHT FOR THE LAMB CHOPS!! Amazing!! Best dinner I've had in a long time. Everything was clearly made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Came over rice, which was great (and unique. 5 spice powder maybe? plus some other things that I'm guessing I probably don't have at home in my kitchen) and there was a homemade lemon garlic spread to tie it together, which was nothing short of fantastic. I haven't even tried the Greek salad yet - I'm too full! “First off, loved the service. The lady who handed me the food was so personable and tried leaving me with all sorts of free candy.

The food was iffy… awesome Reuben (figures, it’s in the name), good coney dog, a salad fit for a king with a half pound of chicken on it easily… and some of the greasiest, most terrible curly fries I’ve ever had. Real mixed bag.

But overall! Come here and get the Reuben! But hold the fries.“
