“We tried the Detroit Pepper Company tonight, first time! We went with the Detroit Stuffed Pepper, beef with parmesan cheese. Very good taste, and huge. We also ordered the Vegan Stuffed Pepper, but we will have to try it tomorrow for lunch...too full from the Detroit Stuffed Pepper! We also tried the lentil bean soup, very nice. And my wife enjoyed the Mango Tastic smoothie:-) We're happy to learn about the Detroit Pepper Company, and we'll be back. Highly recommended. A very clean take-out only place, with good food and a very friendly staff.“

“I've always been a fan of Carrots n' Dates, especially when I'm on a health food kick. Recently, the owners have done an overhaul of the restaurant and I am LOVING the staff. They're always attentive, helpful, and seem eager to learn the business. The food is always fresh and delicious. By far one of my favourite lunch picks while I'm busy working on my school work. Can't recommend visiting enough, whether it's your first visit or if you're ready to give it another chance with the new staff. 10/10.“

“I placed a large order with Hanan’s Bakery and was blown away by the exceptional customer service despite being super busy on EID morning. The team was friendly, efficient, and made the entire experience seamless. When I picked up the order, the pies were hot out of the oven and absolutely perfect! Huge thank you to the entire team at Hanan’s Bakery, and a special shoutout to Moe for going above and beyond.“

“My husband and I and our son and daughter in law went to Nico Walkerville last week and it was a wonderful first time experience for us all. The atmosphere was beautiful. Very inviting. We had plenty of space and were very comfortable. The meals were divine! From the apps to the main course to the deserts and drinks and coffee! A#1! Would highly recommend everyone to go👍“

“The Charlevoix is a fantastic local restaurant with an evolving menu that perfectly embraces the seasons. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to catch a game and meet locals who are always eager to share their love for the town.
We started our visit with a couple of cocktails expertly crafted by the bartender 'Peaches.' They were not only priced well but also absolutely excellent! Each drink was a delight, and we found ourselves wanting to try more.
While we didn't sample the food this time, we're excited to return and explore the menu. The locals were more than happy to share their favorites, giving us some great recommendations for our next visit.
Overall, The Charlevoix offers a wonderful blend of quality drinks, a welcoming atmosphere, and a sense of community that makes it stand out. We can't wait to go back.“

“10/10 for this home run of a restaurant. I generally don't eat breakfast in the morning but my stomach said otherwise today. I tried to ignore the hungry vibe I was getting but I failed. While driving I saw the sign and said why not. Let's give it a shot. I'm ecstatic that i did so. I had the "meat wrap" and let me tell you it was heaven in a tortilla for this breakfast carnivore. I will definitely be a regular there for now on. The hospitality and warm smiles definitely started my day off right. Thanks guys!!“

“Staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Our waiter Giorgio was charming and worked hard to make our evening perfect. Upon discovering a tiny mistake in my order, he immediately brought me a new plate (although I had not complained—the first plate was yummy). The dish I actually ordered was so delicious, but of course now I had too much food, but they expected me to take both pastas home, providing containers before I thought to ask. Then a complimentary tiramisu on top of that! We felt very well taken care of. I don’t expect such special treatment every time but the food was so good we will definitely go back as often as we can.“

“Fantastic little mom-and-pop restaurant! The breakfast was hot and fresh, with perfectly cooked eggs and fluffy pancakes. Lunch was just as good—homestyle cooking that tastes like it’s made with love. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere make this a must-visit. Highly recommend!❤️“
“Incredible place to have some beers and good food. Parking on Kercheval is paid, but don’t put coins in the meter, you have to use a website/app to pay for parking. If you park on a side street it’s free. The building is large and tons of space for big groups either outdoor or indoor. TV’s to watch sports. Haven’t had a bad beer here yet. One of the best parts we stumbled on was the Happy Hour from 3:13-6:16 M-F which gets you $3.13 beer and $6.16 food. You would think it is a small portion since it’s on happy hour but you would be wrong. This will be a place we return to often.“

“It’s 18% gratuity on every Dine In Check. The food is always great. I love the different breakfast items . It’s always a great place for breakfast and bottomless coffees . Pancakes don’t come with side but sides are $5 each like bacon and eggs.
Parking: Street parking is okay
Kid-friendliness: My 2 year old had a great time.“

“Ummmm the smash burgers and dill garlic fries are to DIE for! Photos don’t do them justice. We’re not known to travel more than just around the corner for a quick bite unless we plan on it, but this is worth the last minute 25-30 min drive from where we live. Delicious food. Great staff!“

“There is no better steak sandwich IMHO! But then again, I've never had a bad meal at Sandy's...ever...after more than 2 decades. Yesterday when we cashed out, I was just DELIGHTED to discover that right on my bill, there was a little tipping guide that showed what your total would be if you added a 10, 15, 20 or 25% gratuity! Since I totally SUCK at math, but like to be a great tipper, I found this SO helpful! THANK YOU!“

“Love this place when needing something extra special. They have made 2 cakes for family birthdays. Each cake inspired excitement and gave the wow factor and the taste…. Delicious! One of the cakes was a custom flavour not on their list of options, I let them know what my request was and they provided options on how they could make it work. If you are ordering try to give at least a few days notice ( I gave a week). These cakes are not something thrown together- they are custom made just for you and I imagine they take some time to plan and prepare.“

“Very cozy breakfast/lunch spot. Open til 3 pm. Service is attentive with a smile and food is excellent. I’ve been twice and definitely going back for more. Homemade soups, crispy onion hash browns and perfectly cooked bacon. It’s a must try.“
