“I travel a lot for work all across eastern Canada and this is the most consistent, friendly and genuinely welcoming store I have been to.
The Manager Darren has built a phenomenal team and has the best customer rapport of anyone I have encountered.
He is incredibly invested in making sure every person he encountered is treated with respect and courtesy.
I watched him deal with very rude customer and he remained calm and genuine the entire time.
The team has changed many times over the time I have been coming here but the long standing employees all have my respect for the hard job they have. They are the reason I come back here when I am in town.“

“Was looking for somewhere in this mall to meet a friend. Used google for a list of places to eat in this mall and came across this little gem of a place. Great food, quality, great service, and reasonably priced. Good location to get to many other things in Barrie. Looking forward to going back and trying more menu options. Both myself and friend enjoyed our meal.

Vegetarian options: Noticed some options and some gluten free items also.

Parking: Restaurant was one of the cleanest I have visited in a long time. Decorated very nicely. Made the visit enjoyable. Restaurant I noticed has a full bar area.

Kid-friendliness: Good place for kids but didn’t see a play area. Geared more for adults. Noticed also a full bar area.

“The restaurant is clean and the workers there are very nice. Amidst the busy hour in the afternoon that they got they have lovely smiles and you know they are giving their best shot to give a good service.
We heard one Lady appreciates her teammates about their timer at that time, maybe she is the manager/supervisor. Kuddos to that manager/supervisor and the rest of the team.

The workers are so sweet and are constantly making an effort to ensure all guests feel welcomed and are satisfied. I tried the Iced Caramel Macchiato as recommended by my friend and it was delish as well as my croissant sandwich. I do really wanna highlight Patrick's energy because it was genuinely so kind and the perfect start to my study grind.“

“Im a regular at this Starbucks and have had the lucky opportunity of meeting majority of the staff, they are all great and go out of there way especially on the weekdays, Tom who is in training has become my new favourite he perks me up every time I drive thru he's made a few bad days a lot better, Isabelle is always a sweetheart and gives great recommendations and Kyle is the man he's great at what he does!

“After I heard my son’s Allison and Michelle snickering about my sexuality I had to show them I was a man’s man, and fast. It all started when my wife would leave for her over night shift and I’d have a couple of my pals over for Greco Roman wrestling night. My kids would hear the grunts and groans but they never believed me that we were just wrestling. I started bringing home ice caps to show them I was hip and cool but the addiction got so bad. Like many of you, I downloaded grinder and started meeting up with men for coffees and such. Long story short my wife has full custody of the kids and I have to move out in 2 weeks. Anyone want to meet up for a coffee?“

“I always have a great experience with the drive-through people In the store, however, usually when we come into the Into the front counter, we usually have a very bad experience. I find there’s two people that come to the counter and they always look so miserable today. However, there was a young guy. I think his name is Eno ENHo A dark colored fellow anyways, he was awesome. I am. He was very polite very helpful. He apologized when there wasn’t any napkins and I said he never had to apologize for that. He was just very friendly and smiling and that’s the first time at the front counter and experience. Excellent customer service kudos to him“

I’ve been coming to this Starbucks location for over 7 years, and honestly, the only reason this review is so delayed is because I truly thought I had already written one!

The entire team here is fantastic, but I absolutely have to shout out Maggie and Trevor — they are the heart and soul of this store. Every time I visit, they go above and beyond, making each customer feel valued and welcome. Not once have they ever made me feel like an inconvenience, no matter how busy it gets.

A perfect example: there's a newer barista (likely still in training), and a few of the drinks haven’t been quite right. For the first time ever, I’ve had to bring a drink back — and every single time, Maggie or Trevor has remade it quickly, kindly, and with no fuss, making sure I get the drink I know and love.

Trevor, in particular, has incredible people-reading skills. He somehow knows exactly when to chat and brighten your day — even while multitasking — and when to give you space until you’ve had that first sip of caffeine (which, let’s be honest, is a superpower).

And Maggie... there aren’t enough words for how genuinely sweet and kind she is. She has such a warm, calming presence and truly makes your day better just by being herself. Starbucks is lucky to have someone like her lighting up the store.

“I have luved, Timmy's coffee from the time my father bought myself there in the Barrie Tim Hortons, when I was around 19yrs old. My only disappointment is when they cancelled the Dutchy and cinnamon rolls, especially the glazed One's. Leaving me with very few choices other than a 20 pack of mixed Tim Bits.“
