“I’ve probably ordered close to 1,000 plain bagels toasted w/ butter from Timmies in my lifetime. Generally the quality varies significantly, even for something as simple as a bagel, from restaurant to restaurant and day to day. That being said, on July 16 @9:28am I received the single greatest plain bagel w/ butter. Not burnt and not under toasted. Just toasted, exactly like you would expect. Not drenched in butter and not dry. Instead, a nice even layer. The best part, it was wrapped perfectly with ZERO butter to be found on the wrapper. Typically I get handed the bagel and the wrapper itself is covered in butter. It’s a small thing, but it goes a long way when you stop every morning. Whoever made that bagel, I truly appreciate your attention to detail.“

“The cutest cafe! Lots of room, good vibes, beautifully decorated, very friendly staff, deliciously made lattes. They also have a vegan date square which was delicious! I do wish they had a savoury vegan breakfast option as I was super hungry. But i still appreciated having the vegan date square! Will definitely be back !“

“This cafe is the best Barrie has to offer in coffee. High quality roasts and skilled baristas can be found here. This comes from someone who has been a barista themselves for 5+ years. They have incredible cold brew and the best focaccia I've ever had. I enjoyed a nitro cold brew and have had their regular dark roast coffee. The location is amazing right next to a huge park with big windows offering natural light and park views. The cafe itself is clean and conveniently arranged and also offers various sized bags of take home coffee for sale. The staff are experienced and will grind the take home coffee for you optimized for your usual brewing method (I personally am partial to the French press, so I got a coarse grind). All staff are friendly and the menu options change regularly so you'll never run out of new food options to try when you visit. The coffee bar is open to the dining area so you can see them preparing your beverages. I can speak to the quality of their preparation methods as they work with the same care I would when making myself a beverage at home.

P.s. they sell focaccia dough to take home and bake your own!“

“I go to this specific Starbucks when I'm driving through Orillia and have yet to be disappointed! Their staff is incredibly welcoming and their fresh baked goods are amazing. I am so thankful that I know about this place because you will never find this kind of service at a corporate store. “My in-laws live in Wasaga, so we always stop at this Starbucks when we visit. We have always had very good experiences, and the staff are very kind. However, today, Jackie went above and beyond for us, and we wanted to make sure she gets proper recognition. We pre-ordered two lactose-free beverages and went through the drive-through to pick them up. Jackie apologized profusely and let us know that they had run out of lactose free milk, but that they had sent one of their staff across the street to the store to pick some up. She offered to refund our drinks and asked if we were OK to wait. We told her not to refund them, but that we would wait. I went into the Starbucks to buy a mug, and Jackie continued to apologize despite me telling her that it was more than OK. She went ahead and refunded our drinks, and was very very kind. All of the staff that were working today were incredibly kind and despite being busy, they took time out to apologize to me, and it was very clear that they care about their job and their customer’s experience. I didn’t get the name of the employee who went to the store but he ran in with seven cartons and they quickly had our drinks ready. Having worked in service before, I know how stressful the job can be and how difficult some customers can be. This team seems incredibly lovely. Thank you Wasaga Starbucks!“

“Thanksgiving weekend, only one staff at the counter, and a whole bunch of people, me included all come in at once. He was pleasant and quick. Another staff came running in from the back to help but the young man had managed to help us all already. I come to this location everytime I visit the in-laws even though it doesn't have a drive-thru which I usually prefer. The staff make it worth it.“

Lots of open space to do a picnic also.Bonus: individual toilets ? inside and one in the east train (furthest from road adjacent to open green space by the muskoka chair). Unfortunately the trains don’t appear to be accessible as I didn’t see a ramp and the aisles don’t seem wide enough. There is a ramp to access the main building but no buttons to go to the patio out back but there are tables with movable seats.Looking for a prize after taking a walk or jogging? TREAT YOURSELF! There is a ramp to enter the primary building but accessible buttons are missing to open the door to the patio. There are tables with movable chairs on the patio.

“I come to this location a lot as I work in the Georgian mall, the staff are amazing and very caring about their customers. The only thing I don’t particularly like is the layout of the drive thru and the parking lot, however thats a city issue. I came to the drive thru the other day and the person who made my drink made it wrong but I told Or at the register and he was super kind and attentive and made me a new drink very quickly! “Excellent service. I was there before 7am. Yet the associates were friendly and alert, and extremely patient. I was groggy and confused and disoriented….was my first time in this particular starbucks. And it was way before my usual ‘wake up and live’ time! They understood my predicament. As they could see I was now trying to manage an order for four people. Other groggy people in my family. She even handed me my hot water. Which I forgot I had requested. “I spent about five hours here in the morning, and I must say, this is a wonderful place. Compared to other places, there’s great communication between customers and staff, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. Additionally, other groups of customers spent around three hours chatting before they left, which adds to the lively vibe here. From what I observed, there were no people in difficult circumstances or smoking, so I think the crowd here isn’t an issue. I also saw many families with children.
While the view itself isn’t particularly notable, the place offers Wi-Fi, chargers, and cozy sofas, allowing for a comfortable, long stay. Since I work on my laptop, having these three things available is incredibly convenient. I also noticed other people working on laptops, so it seems like a suitable spot for getting work done.
Note: I recommend bringing headphones or earphones.
