“Stopped in at the restaurant a few times as I was in town staying at the hotel, and overall had a good time! Food was great every time, loved the French dip and all the breakfast items.

The real downfall is it seems they are under staffed. Each time I went, their was either one or two servers, who got everything I needed and did fine, just took a lot longer than I was anticipating as the restaurant was near empty each time I went in. I understand it is slow season, but it just felt like they were missing half the time. Some nights it was on point, but overall I felt like they were overworked with not enough staff.

If you aren’t in a rush and want some good food at good prices, you should make a stop. Just be prepared to wait!“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Just a short walk away from where we were. We'd made a reservation beforehand as we'd been advised to. Lovely space. Beautiful decor. Can accommodate groups of all sizes. There were two large groups sat in the main area but there were still lots of tables and spaces for smaller groups and couples. We were looked after by Shannon who was very welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive from the moment we sat down till when we left. She recommended the Oriecchiete main served with shaved Beef tips which I'd never had befoe but definitely will be in future! Great restaurant which I would recommend to anyone!“

Nicely presented but little food for the pricing. “Was at zappis on Saturday September 6th with my husband and son. My husband and I eat at zappi's every March and October as we run a marriage program and usually have 10 people at dinner and have never had an issue with food or service. Yesterday however service was great but when I received my calzone, it had red peppers in it which I didn't order. So the waitress took it back and had another one made for me and gave me 50% off. I did order another one for takeout and as I went to eat it today for dinner, It has green mushrooms in it, which I cannot eat as it affects my stomach. I was so looking forward to my calzone and now I am disappointed I cannot eat it.“

Order weekdays after 4.00pm and Sundays all day. That is the time when Jerry the main owner is overseeing the restaurant. The other minority owner Chris, has turned into a miserable piece of s*** that will not make your pizza with thick crust and has really started skimping on all toppings, thats if he even puts the right toppings you ordered. He,s gotten ignorant as f#ck over the years and seems to be taking his miserableness out on customers. Needs to put a diaper on and retire. So in conclusion, try ordering during the hours I mentioned and you will be pleasantly surprised with your pizza tasting just as good as it did years ago. We stayed at comfort Inn and we read the review so we were kind of worried but we took a chance because my boyfriend‘s Italian and he thought it looked really good and he was right the food was amazing. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was also amazing. The waitress was very nice. We ordered Take out and she let us sit down and have water, and she showed us her food when it was finished and she gave us extra condiments and cutlery. She was super friendly and super nice and the food was so good. It taste like authentic Italian food. You have to try here. I love food and this is one of the best spots in Niagara !! I experienced the Black and Blue pasta. Simply delectable. Last night we returned for an early Valentine’s Day dinner. This time I could not resist the Steak Gorgonzola. So incredibly decadent, so delicious. My wife had the Penne Alfredo with Lobster and Crab. Also a beautifully presented dish that was delicious. The Caesar salad is definitely worth the upgrade too. “The Hidden Gem of Welland. We have been going to the Wings Block on King St for over a year now and have never been disappointed. Just got home from a late lunch there. Everything we ordered came beautifully presented, all of our food was fresh and tasted great. Our server Roxanne rounded out a great afternoon.
