The place reminded me of what back home ( Philippines ) looks and feels like. We really felt welcomed by this place, they embody what really filipino hospitality is. I asked about the soup of the day and was promptly offered a taste by the friendly chef. Had the medium soup as well--a delicious rich soup with yams and coconut milk. Now I have a new favorite lunch spot.“

Typical Jamaican restaurant menu with a few unique items and custom drinks. The food was average tasting and well presented. I was educated about the history and how the restaurant was established which was enjoyable. “We ordered the Ultimate Chocolate cake for a birthday celebration - after many suggesting this was one of if not the best cake in the city.

It was fabulous. Great presentation just like the photos. Beautiful buttercream, rich dark chocolate flavour, 3x layers super moist and fudgey, and the brownies on top were delicious.

Don't believe some of the bad reviews, the cake was awesome. Everyone raved about it. Also the maple pecan tarts, next level.

She has recommended a famous and popular maple cup, and has so many fresh options and substitutes. It is very much worth the price to eat something fresh, locally sourced and made, right in the morning to start my day. And of course, I get to support Mona!

“i love this place. no frills. come in, pick your sushi, check out, leave. their salmon sashimi (12 pieces!) is 13.99 which is a steal. always so buttery and fresh and melt in your mouth. other entrees are incredibly cost effective and yummy, i especially love the shrimp tempura roll combo. (combo comes with a soda) their free miso soup actually had seaweed and is flavourful. location is immediate right on the left or west exit into college park.“

We started working up the street in June and I have brought many co-workers here to try Filipino food and they all love it.“

Their butter chicken platter is really good, and not as heavy as some other places. I took one star off because sometimes I just cannot figure the hours when they are open.
