I have to change my review. I wanted something dary free because i’m intolerant. The server said that almost everything in The menu can be prepared without dary and suggested a very good dish. Unfortunately it was not dary free and I’ve been affected for days. It ruined my vacation…

“Had a fantastic time trying “Tiana’s special” date night menu. Highly recommend the corn tartlets and tandoori chicken wings for appetizers; packed with flavour!! HIGHLY recommend the lamb shank curry; the meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavour! The butter chicken was also great! We also tried the Gully’s Tres Leches and it was a fantastic way to end the night! The chef/owner is a very cool and kind guy. 10/10 experience!“

I went to Maurya in Liberty Village last Thursday for lunch and had such a wonderful experience! The lovely lady at the counter suggested I try the Shrimp Vindaloo, and it was absolutely fantastic—rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced.

The chefs are amazing, and the young server who looked after me was very attentive and kind, which made the meal even more enjoyable. This has quickly become my favorite Indian restaurant in the area, and I can’t wait to be back!“

We went around 6 people, great and convenient location, just 5 min walk from Bloor and Yonge Station. We ordered Samosa Chat, Cheese Nan and Chicken Tikka Masala from the appetizer and had Lababdar and Special Butter Chicken in the main course. We also had the butter chicken, the Aamchi mutton ( goat) and the kale saag paneer. Everything was flavorful, the meats were well seasoned and soft. Dessert was the Gulab Jamoon creme brulee. “Good experience with traditional Nepali foods and with cultural dance from 4-5 different cultures. The artist performing dance are passionate about their job. The food was ok but be sure to spent arleast 2 hours with cultural dance and appetizers and main course each coming with a long break.“

“I recently visited Dosa Mahal because I was craving some authentic South Indian food, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations!

The restaurant has a warm and cozy interior, perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a relaxed meal. I started with their appetizers – the samosa, idli, and vada – all served with three different types of chutneys and sambar. Each dip had its own unique flavor, which really elevated the experience.

Of course, the star of the meal was the special masala dosa – thin, crispy, and generously filled with flavorful potato masala. It was absolutely delicious! I also tried their onion uttapam, which was soft, fluffy, and topped with fresh onions that gave it a nice crunch.

To finish off, I couldn’t resist their desserts. The gulab jamun was perfectly soft and syrupy, and the payasam was creamy and comforting – a lovely way to end the meal.

What I loved most is that they have such a wide variety of dosas and South Indian specialties to choose from, making it a place I’ll definitely come back to. If you’re a fan of South Indian cuisine or just want to try something new, Dosa Mahal is worth checking out!“

Absolutely loved the authentic South Indian breakfast combo! The crispy dosa, fluffy idlis, and delicious pongal each delivered traditional flavors. The sambar was authentic and tangy, pairing beautifully with both the dosa and idli, while the red and white chutneys brought a fresh and spicy kick to every bite. Finishing with the sweet kesari, I was genuinely impressed with the taste. A wonderfully balanced meal, delicious, comforting, and highly recommended!
