“A great little casual restaurant with friendly servers and kind of a house party vibe. Their wine flights are excellent choices, privately sourced by them. The only thing I’d suggest is that they cool their reds - were served a little warm.“

“I get emotional thinking about how much I love the Little Jerry. In a world of increasingly private equity backed restaurant concepts and music venues closing, the Little Jerry keeps the soul of music and hospitality alive in Toronto.
Jodie & the team make you feel like family anytime you walk in.
Whether it's for a cheeky weeknight happy hour, delicious dinner, or a late night dance - the LJ has become my home away from home in Toronto.
The best sound, the best wines, the best music, the best hosts and staff, and the best feeling.
Drop in sometime and it might become your regular hangout too! ❤️“

“Very nice venue with art and decor. Winterlicious Apps and main dish (steak) were a little too salty in my opinion. Noise level was awful with the club next to us. All we heard were vibrating sounds. Insulation of the venue itself was quite poor; cold winds seeping through the walls. We ate dinner with our coats on. Not ideal. The most they could've done was offered us a free coffee.“

“Quaint bar. Lovely date spot. Drinks are delish. Food also. Their version of old fashioned is super tasty. We had arancini balls, caesar salad and pasta. Soo yummy!
Happy hours 3 -5pm. $12 house cocktails.
Cant wait to go back!“

“Great new spot! We went in for Friday afternoon snacks/wine after work, and it was awesome. The space is warm and welcoming, the wine list is interesting but accessible, and the food is incredible. A great addition to Dupont and would definitely recommend for a happy hour or dinner.“

“We really wanted to enjoy the special event we attended, given it was $185 a ticket, but our seating was delayed by 45 minutes (though we did get some wine while we waited). In addition, guests from the first seating walked directly through the event when the sommelier was speaking to our seating, and a rowdy group at the bar made it impossible to hear the sommelier. I encourage the organizers to more closely consider such details for future events as these details detracted from our experience, and made our introduction to The Daughter not as good as it could have been. Not sure we will be back.“

“The absolute best restaurant in all of Toronto. From the service to the food, to the new innovation they do to classic dishes. One recommendation is to get the banana bread sticky toffee pudding for dessert. You will be obsessed I stg. 10/10 no complaints ever for Berczy“

“Midfield is my favourite place!! The wine list is wonderful with special descriptions under each wine, there was this wonderful creamy and textured chardonnay blend which I am still dreaming about . Not only a wine bar, midfield is also a food gem in the city! the chef has a farm where the vegetables are grown with love and you can tell, there are very creative/thoughtful dishes with the best seasonal ingredients. I have especially loved when celtuce is in season and on the menu, but year round the salmon crudo in its different iterations always hits the spot.
Beyond the food and wine, the atmosphere is warm and very cozy. Everyone working is always incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and they seem to have an uncanny knack for recommending what I should drink, its like we have the same palate.
If you're looking for a place with amazing wine, outstanding food go to Midfield!!!!“

“Vibes. Vibes. Vibes. Came here with a friend at like 10pm and got a coffee with some 10/10 seahorse latte art. The service from Matt and Terell was so good we stayed for drinks and food and have already returned since. Photo of the art for reference:“

“I was pleasantly surprised by this place and it has already landed in my head as one of my new favourite spots in the city. It’s a cozy room that feels like a quiet escape from the street above. The pitched ceiling gives it a cottage-like warmth, and the overall vibe is comfortable and unpretentious.
Service stood out. The servers were attentive without hovering, checked in often, genuinely cared about the experience, and knew the menu well. They were also offering a special cocktail with part of the proceeds going toward relief for the recent fire in Hong Kong, which I appreciated. That sense of community came through, and the whole experience felt like a local window into a broader culture, with the chef clearly bringing their travels and experience to the table.
We went with the tasting menu and found it to be a satisfying amount of food. I left comfortably full. The chrysanthemum caesar was great. As someone who’s usually averse to veggies, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It’s a generous portion, but very shareable for two people and easy to eat. The balance of bitterness, salt, and umami worked well with the miso, pecorino, and sesame. The prawn toast okonomiyaki was a great appetizer too, crunchy and familiar in flavour but presented in a fun, different way. The dumplings had a nice chew to the dough and were flavourful. The drunken sablefish was cooked well and paired nicely with the brown butter sauce. The char siu was tender, glazed, and sweet with lots of depth. Dessert ended on a good note with the HK style egg custard, not overly sweet and I liked the pomelo and sago.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’m looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu.“

“Had such a great experience at Happy Coffee and Wine! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing — perfect spot to unwind.
Carmen was so nice and welcoming from the moment I walked in. She made the whole experience even better with her friendly energy and great service.
And the hot chocolate? Absolutely delicious. Rich, smooth, and perfectly made, you can really taste the quality.
Definitely coming back again. Highly recommend this place! ☕✨“

“Popular place in Toronto, so gave it a try. Here's my take:
Service: pleasant
Food: Mixed
Steak tartare was light, fresh, nicely seasoned. Simply but well executed. Great call to have it available in appetizer size. The toast that came with it was a hit on its own.
Swiss train ride: their version of a Croque Madame, left a bit to be desired. While made with quality ingredients, exexution was not any better than a standard dinner. It was simply too dry, but the egg yolk helped with a few bites. The salad it came with also seemed rather hastily thrown together. The potato rosti it came with was crispy and light and was the best part of the dish.
Overall nice place. Will return to try the burger ans perhaps other dishes.“

“After a lighthearted evening watching & Juliet, we made our way to Scaddabush for some Italian comfort food.
All of EnD Adventures was together — our daughters, friends, and the two of us — which already set the tone for a memorable night out.
Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated quickly. Our server, Noah, stopped by early with menus and the nightly specials. It was clear the entire team was hustling; drinks took longer than usual, but Noah was doing everything he could to keep the pace.
The space itself was a delight. Warm lighting, thoughtful décor, and those whimsical canned vegetables added a quirky charm that made the room feel inviting and full of character. There was always something interesting to notice.
The fresh mozzarella — their signature — absolutely lived up to its reputation. Creamy, rich, and beautifully prepared, it was easily the standout of the table.
Our meals arrived hot and exactly as ordered, and everyone enjoyed their choices. The only real downside was the long gaps between check-ins for drink refills or questions. With several large tables nearby and the restaurant buzzing, it was understandable, though still noticeable.
All in all, it was a lovely evening, and we’d happily return — perhaps to a quieter location next time, just to see how the service feels when the pace isn’t quite so intense.

“The food was fantastic and the service was great. I did feel the prices were a little high considering the décor and overall setting, as it's not really a fine-dining atmosphere. That said, the most important part—the food and service—were excellent.“

I have to change my review. I wanted something dary free because i’m intolerant. The server said that almost everything in The menu can be prepared without dary and suggested a very good dish. Unfortunately it was not dary free and I’ve been affected for days. It ruined my vacation…
I also want to add that we have been asked to write a good review and received a free dessert .“

“I was introduced to Gully by my friend Dwight the other day. He's raved about it previously and rightfully so! Everything was fantastic.
By far the biggest selection of Indian whiskies I've seen in the city, and then rest of the whisky collection is really well-curated. Chef Nalin is warm and charming, definitely knows his craft. Loved the wonderful cardamom-inflected smoked Old Fashioned and the pineapple Penicillin riff.
As impressive as the bar and drinks were, the food is the star of the show. I probably eat wings way too often, and the tandoori wings were the best-cooked wings I've had in the city in years, with a beautiful sauce. Loved the lamb chops, the corn tartlets, and the avocado chaat chips and dip for apps as well. And the curries! I've been dreaming since about the lamb shank and the shrimp coconut curries. Definitely will be back!“

“Had such a great experience at Bar Banane last night. The vibe was warm and intimate without feeling pretentious. Perfect for a relaxed night out.
We ordered the smoked sturgeon rillettes, which were outstanding and perfectly balanced. Easily a standout dish.
For drinks, we tried the Berry Dangerous and Eleventh Hour, and both were fantastic.
Great atmosphere, great food, and even better drinks.“

“Overall, it was an amazing experience. I was just not aware of the extra $30 charge for the dinner experience for two. Maybe it is noted somewhere and I missed it, but I thought it was $100 for two. Nonetheless, it was a good experience in terms of value. <3“
“Came here on a Saturday night for a few drinks and apps.
For drinks, I got the non alcoholic Silent G which was super tasty.
For food we ordered the chicken and tuna melt empanadas as well as the Dumplings - all were delicious !
Atmosphere and service was also great! 😊“

“Stumbled upon this coffee shop in Little Italy and it instantly became one of my favorite spots. It has the perfect chill vibe, great music playing in the background, and somehow the coffee is even better than the atmosphere.
It really feels like a hidden gem. The kind of place you want to keep to yourself, but also feel compelled to recommend. If you’re around Little Italy and looking for a relaxed spot with excellent coffee and a cool, laid back energy, this place is absolutely worth a stop.“
“It was a happy accident that led me to Tommy’s on a Sunday afternoon in the summer. I had been searching High Park and Parkdale for a good coffee, only to find most places closed after 2 PM. Luckily, Tommy’s was open — and what a wonderful find it was!
The café is located on a busy, unassuming corner with lots of streetcar traffic. From the outside, it looks like a vintage convenience store, and the interior continues that quirky, retro vibe, making it a really unique spot.
My barista was absolutely charming and knowledgeable, explaining all about the coffee being brewed. They use Reunion Coffee, and the iced Americano they made for me was perfectly balanced — smooth, flavorful, and refreshing. Tommy’s is a hidden gem for anyone looking for great coffee in a fun, nostalgic setting.“

“Yesterday me and my partner went back to this pizzeria again. We’ve been here a few times before, but honestly the pizza last night was especialy good. We ordered a Diabola Bianca and a Margherita with procciuto, and both were amazing. Thanks to our server Louisa for recommending it.
The place was pretty packed, our server, was still very atentive and friendly. Even with the restaurant kinda full she took the time to check on us and made sure everything was good.
I actually like seeing the restaurant busy because it’s one of my favourite pizzerias, so it’s nice to see they have a lot of customers. Nights like this remind me why we keep comming back. Great pizza and great service.“

“Enigma was definitely a one start Michelin experience. Food is amazing and more than enough to be fulfilled. Dishes are greatly prepared with a variety from fish and meat. Even the chef came to serve one of the courses. The only thing I did not like is that we had to wait more than usual to be greeted in the restaurant and taken to our table, as well as we were asked for drinks a bit later than usual (when the first course was on the table). The wine pairing was good and excellent curated by the sumilier who provided great explanations, but, in my opinion, a bit overpriced for the quality of the wines. Would have been good to get a drinks menu to choose. Overall, a great experience to recommend for special occasions.“

“Hit up Danny’s Pizza Tavern with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and it absolutely delivered. We shared the steak, Caesar salad, mozzarella sticks, pepperoni pizza, sausage and peppers pizza, and the tomato pie, and honestly, there wasn’t a weak link. Everything came out hot, flavourful, and perfect for sharing. The vibes were top-tier: lively, fun, and exactly what you want for a group night out. Great food, great energy, great time. Would 100% go back.“

“We had a wonderful experience at Tulia Osteria Bar The service was impeccable (thank you Andy!) and the food, amazing. We ordered the Antipasti Board to start and it was well curated and had ample portions. We followed this up a Pizzano pizza and Tagliatelle Bolognese. Very flavourful on both counts. And Pistachio gelato to finish. They are just getting started! Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!“

“My partner and I celebrated Valentine's Day at Grey Gardens and were extremely happy with the food and service. The staff were all very welcoming and knowledgeable. It was a set menu for the evening and each dish was served fresh and with care. The standout dish for us was the squid ink udon noodles with curry and lobster, simply divine! We would happily eat at Grey Gardens again.“
