“We went to locals to celebrate my friends birthday. We had the opportunity to sit upstairs and we all love it. Being able to the kitchen team doing what they do love most. The atmosphere of locals was a inviting and my friends and I enjoyed our food and the culture. Big shout out to Blake and Kaitlyn our servers of the night and if I missed any staff I do apologize. Most definitely coming back again soon.

“Havent been at Swiss Chely for a long time . The server we had Sonia was amazing friendly and efficient. Great location in the promenade circle in Thornhill Ontario east parking and very clean .

“This is one of the best shawarma’s in the city!!!! The chicken is so well seasoned and has so much flavour the only topping I need are hummus,lettuce, tabouli and tahini (there tahini is so good I get extra on the wrap and on the side). My mom got the same wrap as me but all the topping and hot sauce which was amazing as well. The space is so clean and has such a trendy vibe I love it and can’t wait to go back!!“

“We celebrated my mom’s birthday at Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and from the moment we stepped in, it was clear this place was all about the upscale vibe. With tall ceilings, dim lighting, and a sleek, elevated interior, it felt like the perfect spot for a special occasion. The service was on another level—our servers were attentive, made sure everything was just right, and added to the polished experience. We shared the Porterhouse for Two, while the rest of my family tried other cuts of steak, lobster, and salmon. Each steak was cooked to perfection, with that melt-in-your-mouth tenderness that’s worth every bite! Paired with classic sides like mashed potatoes and broccoli, it all came together beautifully. Now, fair warning: it’s a splurge, but definitely worth it for a celebration. Highly recommended if you’re looking to mark a special occasion in style!

“We came on Wednesday around 1 pm. It was not too busy and surprisingly in most restaurants the less customers the worse the service gets so we were really delighted when we had food and service which was 10 out of 10. Our server was Zoran and he gave us maximum level attention and care. Our food, I ordered wings and fries and my friend ordered chicken sandwich and fries, was hot and delicious. Our desserts were delightful. Thank you very much, Zoran for your excellent service and thanks to the chefs for the great Swiss Chalet food. It was a perfect dining experience and we are both so grateful.“

Our server was Dayana and she was great, she recommended new items in the menu and checked with us if we needed anything else.

“Harvey's is great in general. (Best fast food burger in Toronto BY FAR.) But this location on Dufferin just south of Yorkdale is a cut above. Staff treats you like an old friend even if you haven't been there for a while. Highly recommended.“

“I have been to several locations. Fairview, Markville, Eaton Centre, STC, and to be honest, they all have different flavor. Some locations cook their dish by Filipino style, some in Chinese cuisine style etc. Among all locations, Promenade location carries the best flavor. The owner and the food handlers have been their for long time and the flavor never changed. This location is must-go place. Other locations are just 1-2 stars tbh. GO TO PROMENADE BOURBON St.GRILL LOCATION. PLEASE TRUST MEEEEE. YOU WILL NEVER REGRET.“

“Always order from this Swiss Chalet and food and service is always consistent. I do have to say that the food tastes good in general, but the taste is 5x better when you dine-in, especially since you eat it right when it’s hot.
We got the chicken and third rack ribs, quarter chicken dinner with coleslaw, side of seasoned fries, 10 bbq wings, chicken broccoli & cheddar soup, and a shirley temple. Everything was cooked perfectly and super juicy and delicious!! We used to always get the chicken, but their other dishes are equally as good! Their chicken tenders and chicken pot pie are also amazing. Prices for drinks and desserts are super affordable as well. They have bottomless drinks which makes it even more worth getting!
Plenty of seating that’s perfect for families big and small. Service is always great at this location as well. Highly recommend!

If in Markham and you want homestyle cooking, I suggest this place, I had the brisket and it was delicious, perfectly done!
Parking: Not many spaces and shared with other businesses, but I had no trouble finding a spot“
