For the mains, the Grilled Iberico Pork Steak was simply divine. It was cooked to perfection with a slight char on the outside and tender, succulent meat inside. “I recently tried the mutton kothu roti, chicken puttu mix, and seafood curry. Overall, the food tasted good and the flavors were enjoyable. However, I was a bit surprised by the portion sizes, as the containers weren’t filled as much as I expected for their size.

The chicken puttu mix had quite a strong egg smell, so if you’re sensitive to that, it may not be for you. I was also expecting a lemon wedge with the kothu roti, which unfortunately wasn’t included. Aside from those small details, I still enjoyed the meal and would give this restaurant a 4/5 stars.“

The chili pedi chicken was so flavorful 10/10 recommend.
Pad Thai was alright; The other dishes overshadowed the flavor of the Pad Thai.

“We had recently moved to the area and this quickly became our go to restaurant. Pretty much every weekend we would order food from here and pick it up. The service was also so good every time we went.

We had all our cousins over last week (who travelled from Brampton only to try their food coz we loved it so much) when we noticed they were closed. And it has remained closed ever since.

I’m not sure if they closed down or if they have something else going on but I certainly hope that they come back again. Missing the food so much already!“

I ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork with Fried Rice and Vegetables for myself and got the Salt and Pepper Chicken with Noodles and Vegetables for my Husband. Both were portioned very well and at a reasonable price. We both enjoyed it! The owner currently working right now is very friendly and kind. This restaurant is officially my go to and I highly recommend eating at this wonderful establishment.“

“Very authentic Korean restaurant. You can taste the difference between these dishes that uses good quality species and ingredients and other similar stores that don’t put the same effort in. The kimchi was so flavourful and delicious. The pork one soup I had had lots of protein and intense flavour. The dishes were a bit spicy for me but I have a very low tolerance.“

“We came on a weekday night and it was pretty busy. We only waited a few minutes to get a table. After ordering, we got our soup and salad pretty quickly but waited longer for our main dishes, and even longer for our dessert. The food was ok. My husband found the seaweed in his hand roll and maki roll too soft, and I found the salmon to be a bit dense. The other sushi were average. Then the dessert, my husband liked his fried bananas, but I found the sticky rice with mango to be too sweet and the mango pieces were not ripe. The service was slow but we can understand why--it's been a busy night. The staff were nice but very busy catering to bigger tables. Despite all this, we did enjoy our time.“

What really stood out to me was how incredibly clean the entire place was. Even the bathrooms were spotless and beautifully maintained, which tells you a lot about how much they care.

“This is one of my favourite food court vendors at Pacific Mall, especially if you’re craving classic Cantonese food. They offer a solid variety of Hong Kong–style dishes, and I usually dine in at the Pacific Mall food court rather than ordering takeout. Today, however, I decided to get takeout instead.

I ordered the salted fish chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken (it’s traditionally pork, but I asked for chicken instead). The dish normally comes with a side of rice, but I opted for no extra rice and more chicken. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. They accept cash or debit, and my order was ready in about 10 minutes, which is great for quick meals at Pacific Mall.

When I got home, the salted fish chicken fried rice smelled incredibly fragrant, thanks to the salted fish, which is always a highlight for me. That said, the dish was a bit oilier than usual. The sweet and sour chicken portion was also smaller than expected, which was disappointing. I’m not sure if it was an off day or if the main chef wasn’t working, but the food didn’t feel like it was on their usual A-game.

That said, based on many previous visits, dining in has consistently been excellent, with generous portions and better overall balance. This experience won’t stop me from coming back — I’ll just stick to eating at the food court instead of takeout next time.

If you’re looking for affordable Cantonese food at Pacific Mall, especially Hong Kong–style fried rice and classic Chinese comfort dishes, this vendor is still worth trying — just better enjoyed fresh on-site.“

“It's part of the food court. They serve Chinese-Korean food, which is a distinct category within Korean cuisine. It's perfect for take-out, for grocery shoppers at Galleria, or for those who just want a hot meal without breaking the bank. I think it's run by a family. They primarily speak
Korean and Chinese, but they are friendly regardless of the language you speak. You just need to be patient when communicating in English.“

I also liked that there was a large selection and that you can tailor the components of your entree easily. This is great because it means more choices. “Came here for a late breakfast and ordered the dry-fried beef ho fun and the braised beef brisket rice. Both were reasonably priced (around $10–$15) and came with soup and a drink (milk tea, coffee, or Ovaltine).

The ho fun was well-seasoned and nicely chewy, not greasy at all. The beef itself was a bit on the tougher side but overall still decent. The brisket rice was also solid and satisfying.

Portions were generous, and the value is very good for downtown. There’s an early set menu before 11:30 a.m., and all-day breakfast options are also available at very affordable prices.

“This is a long standing HK style business. The supervisor there Anita has worked in another HK style restaurant that I used to go to and thank goodness she manages this place now. I still know her and Mandy from a previous HK restaurant.
They definitely run this place better with better food offerings. They always provide me top notch service here .
I do wish they can add more new selections to their menu like ramen and more curry options
