“August 8 is hands down one of my favourite sushi spots. At least this specific location for me is. Honestly, it feels like it should be a high-end restaurant, the quality of the food is that good.
Of course, their sushi is amazing (fresh, flavourful, and beautifully done), but what really stands out is the variety on the menu. The flavours they use are insane. They have these beef tacos that are absolutely phenomenal I think about them all the time. I always pick the dinner option because I feel like it has more variety to choose from.
My boyfriend and I literally drive all the way from Vaughan just to come here, which says everything about how worth it it is. The staff are also incredible there are always plenty of team members on the floor, so service is fast, attentive, and super efficient.
Everything tastes so fresh, the vibes are great, and they always play good music, which just adds to the whole experience.
Definitely my go-to sushi spot and easily one of the best I’ve been to.“

“I got the lemon-infused sauerkraut soup. It was absolutely delicious. It's nice that they also have quite a few extra things they give you (free of charge) in your dish like vegetables, rice, and large-sized portions of meat. The variety of options they have with their fish options are amazing, some with pumpkin-flavoured items and whatnot. Would definitely recommend! Only downside might be that this place is quite popular so there can be long wait times (as seating is limited) and quite a bit of noise (at the time of writing, on most days the restaurant is filled with a lot of people who can be quite disruptive to a happy meal).“

“had an amazing experience at Seven Spicy in Markham. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic Sri Lankan flavors. The fried rice was perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and had generous portions. The kottu was one of the best I have had in Canada, with the perfect balance of spices and freshness. Their pasta was creamy, rich, and surprisingly flavorful, while the devil dishes had the perfect spicy kick that spice lovers will definitely enjoy. The rolls were crispy on the outside and filled with delicious ingredients, making them a perfect appetizer.
The menu offers a great variety of Sri Lankan and Asian fusion dishes including fried rice, kottu roti, pasta, devil chicken, devil beef, biryani, and many other favorites. Customers frequently praise the Chicken Fried Rice, Seafood Fried Rice, Chicken Kottu, Mutton Kottu, Devil Chicken, and Chicken Biryani.
The portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Food is always served hot and fresh. Whether you’re craving fried rice, kottu, pasta, devil chicken, or rolls, this is a place that never disappoints. I highly recommend Seven Spicy to anyone looking for tasty Sri Lankan food in Markham. “First time visiting to the restaurant and already wanting to return for more!!
Summary: the fusion style Chinese cuisine is a pleasant surprise. The chef can actually create not only sumptuous dishes but also aesthetically pleasing presentation!
All the dishes we had were carefully prepared that would challenge your taste sensation . (See photos)
We are certain to return and try more dishes and dimsum in the near future.
PS. I wish they would open up another one in Scarborough!“

“I’ve been coming here for years and this new team that has taken over this restaurant has done a phenomenal job these past few years.

“Was wandering around the plaza and ended up at this cute little eatery where ookinza use to reside. The decor inside gives off Japanese vibes serving up Korean dishes. The dine in is counter seating. - Cute set up. The taste is definitely not your typical Korean soup spices but the pork bone was definitely fall off the bone and tender which some Korean places serve it very dry. The spicy fish and veggie soup was also different as the fish used I believe it’s snakehead where other places usually have that thick cut white fish which is meh. So I really enjoyed it. Definitely don’t set the expectation as authentic Korean dishes for these two dishes in terms of taste because it’s quite different. The pork bone soup had a lot of garlic in it but something about the soup base gave me sukiyaki flavours. The fish soup was slightly different as well but also can’t narrow down what it reminds me off but that one gave some Chinese spin to it. Although different I’d say it’s unique and good in their own way, I’d go back for their grilled meat options next time. For service there is a girl who takes your order and also the one that brings you food and periodically comes by to check on you. Very friendly. Lastly, you can purchase a membership for a year for $10 and it’s basically half price on their prices. -Totally worth it.“

“One2 Snacks is an absolute gem for authentic Malaysian cuisine. The menu is small but thoughtfully diverse, with fresh ingredients, generous portions, and prices that are incredibly reasonable for the quality. Every dish I tried had unique, rich flavours worth slowing down and truly savouring. Their weekend specialties and desserts are outstanding. I have tried 3 dishes and 5 desserts so far, and every single item was prepared exceptionally well.
What truly sets this place apart is Brian and the level of care he gives his customers. His pride in the food, culture, and authenticity behind the menu is something very rare. He took the time to walk me through almost the entire menu, explain how certain dishes are traditionally enjoyed, and made sure I felt confident ordering. He genuinely wants customers to have the best possible experience and helps avoid disappointment with items that may sell out. It was first class hospitality from start to finish. One2 Snacks knows exactly what it does well and delivers it exceptionally.“

“Brought my golden retriever Biscuit along last Saturday afternoon and was so relieved to find that the staff at Bar 700 not only welcomed him but actually brought out a little bowl of water without me even asking. We settled in on the patio and I had the most incredible lavender latte that honestly tasted like something from a specialty roaster downtown. The atmosphere was relaxed and unhurried, which made it easy to stay longer than planned while Biscuit charmed everyone walking by. If you have a dog and you're looking for a cafe in North York that genuinely embraces four-legged guests, this place is worth the trip.“

“This is one of my favourite food court vendors at Pacific Mall, especially if you’re craving classic Cantonese food. They offer a solid variety of Hong Kong–style dishes, and I usually dine in at the Pacific Mall food court rather than ordering takeout. Today, however, I decided to get takeout instead.
I ordered the salted fish chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken (it’s traditionally pork, but I asked for chicken instead). The dish normally comes with a side of rice, but I opted for no extra rice and more chicken. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. They accept cash or debit, and my order was ready in about 10 minutes, which is great for quick meals at Pacific Mall.
When I got home, the salted fish chicken fried rice smelled incredibly fragrant, thanks to the salted fish, which is always a highlight for me. That said, the dish was a bit oilier than usual. The sweet and sour chicken portion was also smaller than expected, which was disappointing. I’m not sure if it was an off day or if the main chef wasn’t working, but the food didn’t feel like it was on their usual A-game.
That said, based on many previous visits, dining in has consistently been excellent, with generous portions and better overall balance. This experience won’t stop me from coming back — I’ll just stick to eating at the food court instead of takeout next time.
If you’re looking for affordable Cantonese food at Pacific Mall, especially Hong Kong–style fried rice and classic Chinese comfort dishes, this vendor is still worth trying — just better enjoyed fresh on-site.“

“Went for lunch on a Thursday and it was surprisingly busy!
The restaurant is now called Wild Beast (which is confusing if you are going for the first time and trying to find the place cuz Google hasn’t updated it). Ordered the chicken and waffles and the kimchi fried rice bibimbap. Big portions and delicious. However, the black sesame waffle did not have much flavour so that was a little disappointing. I also found that it was quite noisy because tables are close and restaurant is small, so if you are looking for a place to chat with some friends that you haven’t seen in awhile, this might not be the place for a meetup. Also, the food took awhile but the staff was excellent. Would recommend if you are a foodie looking for some delicious new options.“

“This is a long standing HK style business. The supervisor there Anita has worked in another HK style restaurant that I used to go to and thank goodness she manages this place now. I still know her and Mandy from a previous HK restaurant.
They definitely run this place better with better food offerings. They always provide me top notch service here .
I do wish they can add more new selections to their menu like ramen and more curry options
Thank you ladies 🙏😇“

“We enjoyed our meal at Ehwa! My friends and I used to go to the downtown location back in our undergrad days, so having a location close to home is pretty cool.
We ordered the Ssagaji Dak (four flavour chicken platter) and the Rosé tteokbokki. The platter had a nice variety of flavours and the tteokbokki was delicious. The platter is big enough that I think it would feed most couples on its own but I eat a lot 😂. We had some leftovers to take home though!
Vibes here are really nice, and the staff working here were all very friendly. The two girls working here were very attentive and nice. One thing that I thought was nice is their work ethic really seemed great. We came early around 5:30pm for old people dinner time so the restaurant was pretty quiet, but the staff members were working hard the whole time cleaning, setting tables up, preparing the bar, etc.
Will definitely come back with friends, maybe this time for both drinks and food!“

“This morning was my first time ordering from Asian Fusion and the food is absolutely delicious, fresh and both combos were still hot by the time I got home. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork with Fried Rice and Vegetables for myself and got the Salt and Pepper Chicken with Noodles and Vegetables for my Husband. Both were portioned very well and at a reasonable price. We both enjoyed it! The owner currently working right now is very friendly and kind. This restaurant is officially my go to and I highly recommend eating at this wonderful establishment.“

“I’ve been coming to this restaurant many times since 2023. Even after moving to Montreal, whenever I visit Toronto, this place is still on my must-go list.
Since the team changed, I really feel the improvement. Overall, it has been a great change for me. The environment is much cleaner and more comfortable than before, and the flavors have improved significantly. The menu has been simplified — fewer dishes, but only the most distinctive and well-executed ones remain. Because of that, no matter what you order, you can trust that it will taste good. I truly appreciate this “less is more” philosophy when it comes to food.
The new team clearly focuses on the quality of the ingredients themselves, without relying on artificial flavors or unnecessary additions. If you’re a true foodie, you can definitely taste the authenticity.
As for the previous team, to be honest, they didn’t pay much attention to the environment. The restaurant felt a bit messy and unclean, like some small-town places in China from 10 years ago. The food was okay, but nowhere near as good as it is now. If I hadn’t been extremely homesick at that time, I probably wouldn’t have chosen this place before, mainly because I didn’t enjoy the atmosphere.
I’m really happy to see how much this restaurant has grown and improved. The current team is doing a wonderful job.“

“The place is clean and very nice and inviting. And while it may not be the best Thai out there but it is tasty and there are lots of healthy options which I found to be a plus. I also liked that there was a large selection and that you can tailor the components of your entree easily. This is great because it means more choices. I found the price to be a bit higher than I would like (given the size of the entree) but it's not extremely inflated. I think it would be great if they had some good BOGO sales or special offers so that people in the area can try it out without much risk and maybe make it one of their regular stops.“

“The satay beef rice noodle soup was amazing! The broth was so unique and delicious that I even paid extra to take another portion home. The green onion roti was fantastic too, with a nice hint of egg.

“Came here for a late breakfast and ordered the dry-fried beef ho fun and the braised beef brisket rice. Both were reasonably priced (around $10–$15) and came with soup and a drink (milk tea, coffee, or Ovaltine).
The ho fun was well-seasoned and nicely chewy, not greasy at all. The beef itself was a bit on the tougher side but overall still decent. The brisket rice was also solid and satisfying.
Portions were generous, and the value is very good for downtown. There’s an early set menu before 11:30 a.m., and all-day breakfast options are also available at very affordable prices.
Cash only, and exact change is preferred.“

Just a small side note: please make the space between tables bigger, so bigger people are able to get out and use your buffet, without having to hit the other tables cups.
Other than that? Amazing sushi, very fresh fish, and lovely servers! ❤❤“
