“This is my go-to place for biryani. The best I've had! Light, fluffy and delicately spiced. The food is so good and the staff are so friendly it's like my 2nd home! The gongura biryani (veg or chicken) is probably my favourite, also really like the mughlai chicken biryani.“

“This was a random find and I have visited this place on multiple occasions since. Their bamboo biryanis are a must try and come with lobster side dish along with few other items. I also recently tried the Lamprai which again was a surprisingly good dish. For desserts don’t forget to try their watallapam!! Overall highly recommend“

“This white sauce pasta was absolutely delicious! The sauce was perfectly creamy, rich, and flavorful with just the right balance of herbs and spices. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the bits of onion and bell pepper added a nice crunch and freshness. The garlic bread was crisp, buttery, and paired so well with the pasta — great for dipping into that smooth sauce. A comforting, satisfying meal that I’d definitely love to have again!“

The experience was worth mentioning as the Desi Bar & Grill's Interior was quite impressive, with the relaxed feeling of an entertaining restaurant with the food, bar service, and server courtesy. It deserves a stars (*****) rating except for one suggestion. It is nice to hear the ever-green Indian Songs except for the loudness associated with the noise this created necessitating keeping it low will be dignified and relaxing for distinguished visitors to engage in audible mutual conversation rather than put restraint and blockage by loud music. Running of soft Indian 'Gazals' will add to the environment apart from Punjabi/Hindi songs.“

“Had a great experience at Dosa Kitchen in Markham! It's our 7th visit. The dosas were crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. We also tried a few other South Indian dishes, and everything tasted authentic and delicious. The staff were friendly, attentive, and the service was quick. “We recently visited India’s Taste for their buffet and had a wonderful experience. The buffet offered a great variety of dishes with authentic Indian flavors, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. There were plenty of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

A special mention to Puja, who served us during our visit. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed, which made our dining experience even better.

“I was craving for Biryani with the authentic taste,after googling this restaurant and went for dine in. We ordered boneless chicken Biryani, lamb Biryani,paneer sizzler,garlic naan and chicken 65. Everything was delicious and exactly what I was craving for in Biryani, taste not spicy yet very flavorful. Portions size was great,took left over home. “Makes sense why this place has so many reviews. Food here is really good, even the fries for the kids which we didnt plan on getting.

Momo filling is well seasoned. You can easily slam back a whole plate.

Word of warning though for parents, depending on your kids, there is a touch of spice in the steamed momos about the same intensity as a crack of black pepper. Our kids haven't opened up to spice yet, which we didnt expect from steamed momos. They're good momos, don't get us wrong.

“If you're in the area and craving decent Indian food, this place is a great option. So far, we've had their lamb korma, chicken korma, and prawn madras, and all three have been delicious. We paired them with some jasmine rice and their paratha, and we were more than satisfied.

Their service was also great. It wasn't too busy when we were there, so we received a warm welcome and enough attention to feel comfortable and relaxed. We enjoyed the experience enough that we’ll definitely be coming back.“

The biggest surprise was the Palaya Soru and Neer Mor were absolutely authentic and incredibly delicious. Every dish on the buffet was worth trying, with great taste and quality throughout. The buffet also includes coffee, which was a perfect finish to the meal.

The ambience was warm and inviting, and the service and hospitality were excellent. The staff were attentive and made the experience even more enjoyable and comfortable.

“I’ve been to Biryani Nation a couple of times, and you might think I’m saying this just because I’m South Indian but honestly, that’s not the case. I’ve never taken the time to review any Indian restaurant in Canada until now, and that’s because this place truly deserves it.

Their pulao is outstanding I’ve tried both their veg and non-veg options and I’m in love with both. You can genuinely taste the chef’s passion in every bite; it feels like the food is made with love.
