“The BBQ here was full of flavor with a lovely smoky touch that I really enjoyed. The ribs stood out with their finger-licking dry rub while the brisket taco was moist, tender, and packed with flavor. I finished off with a small portion of burnt ends which paired perfectly with my old fashioned. The bourbon selection was impressive and definitely something I’ll have to explore more next time when I am not driving.“

“This is my go to spot when I’m craving barbeque they never disappoint. The barbeque ribs and pulled pork are my favourite. I can always expect quality food and excellent customer service when I come here. The owner is the nicest guy. their wings are amazing too. If I’m being picky, the only thing i’m not a fan of is their cornbread. I wish it was less dense and a little bit sweeter but that’s just personal preference. Otherwise everything is 10 out of 10 and I would highly recommend it.“

“As someone who’s actually been to Austin and Dallas — let’s get this straight:
Is this 100% Texas BBQ? No.
Is it solid as hell for Toronto? Absolutely.
Brisket’s legit. Sausage has snap. Sides hold their own. It’s not backyard pitmaster level, but for being north of the border? They do it justice.
Yeah, it’s pricey. But that’s not a knock on them — BBQ done right takes time, meat costs are insane, and labor ain’t cheap in the city.
Would I recommend it? 100%.
Would I go weekly? My wallet says no.
Perfect for the occasional “I need smoked meat and I need it now” kind of night.“

“I dined in with my boyfriend and friend on Saturday ($45.99/per person) evening around 9:30pm and was notified the kitchen will close at 10:30pm. We would have about 1h to eat as we were really hungry walking in and pretty full after. This is my third time dining at this restaurant location and the beef on the all day menu is my favourite! They only accept cash or debit!“

“If you want to try an authentic Persian dish well made in Toronto I highly recommend Qatar.
One of their signature dishes “ dizi,” is incredible—filled with lamb, chickpeas, and potatoes in a rich broth. You get to mash bread yourself, which adds a fun, traditional touch.
The plate is severed with fresh sangak bread and pickles, herbs If you want to try authentic Persian flavors, Dizi is the place to go!“

“I stopped by for a mid-week lunch. There was a line up but service was fairly quick and I was not in a rush so it wasn't a problem. I didn't sample the entire menu, but I can say that the double leg dinner was fantastic! The chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. The fries were excellent, some of the best I've ever eaten. Salads were fresh and wonderfully flavourful. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are very customer oriented. Definitely will be back!“

“Absolutely delicious bbq pork, duck, and char siu that won't break the bank.
I go here every other week or so when I'm too lazy to make lunch. You can get a hefty portion of rice and meat of your choice for around $12-$14 (cash only). You can also order meat by the pound and cook your own rice at home.
They've truly perfected the technique. A lot of locals come here for lunch which will result in a wait, but it goes to show how popular it is amongst those in the area. If you're ever around, I'd highly recommend giving this place a try!“

“I have been a customer for more than 7 years here now and I can tell you that the quality of the food is always great. Great service as usual and good customer service through the phone orders as well. I have always ordered the large tray chicken and brought it to parties, weddings, and even home for the family and everyone loves it. Downside is parking, there is curbside parking but not for longer than 5 minutes. Overall, still my number 1 spot for big order takeouts or catering.“

“Char siu and the roasted pork was a match made in heaven I had for 6 years.
Overtime, I saw a decline in the quality of roasted pork, It's no longer juicy nor was the skin crunchy and had the fat in it. Its now dry and the skin is hard like glass.
Buy as much charsiu as you can cuz it goes well with almost anything. Fried rice, instant noodles, bread and even on and soup is good“
