“Cool and local pub. I don’t prefer chain pubs/cafes etc. This pub is really cool and even as a single woman you can go and enjoy your time safely. I like to sit in the bar section without not dealing with anyone :) Beer menu is also cool. Recommended!“
“We booked this place as we love the Kinki Original spot in downtown Toronto. We expected the menu to be same but it was quite different but we had a great time here as well. We had dinner a few weeks ago at Kinka Sushi Bar and the food was amazing! The service from the young lady was great as well (Gigi). We tried various different sushi rolls and other shareable items. Also tried the beef bibimbap. The place was busy for a weekday evening. We also tried some cocktails and the sake cocktail was a hit. Definitely recommend folks to try this restaurant.P.S. The restaurant allowed me to bring a cake for my wife’s birthday and we enjoyed her special bday dinner.“
“The food was really good. Was meaning to come here, and im glad I did. They gave us complementary jeon and definitely love the korean platter. I highly recommend coming here during happy hour to enjoy their deals. It's a sick spot to come for late night eats and drinks. The vibes are always fun, and they have an amazing spots to take cute pictures.“
“The ramen was delicious. Highly recommend the pork with an egg. My grandmother has a gluten allergy so it was nice to have the option of the potato noodles. Oddly I really liked their bathrooms as they were playing older Japanese music and there was mouthwash to use“
“For those who like a good pub with its own beer production, good food, good location and accessibility ♿️ this is definitely the right place.Granite is very well located on Avenida Egliton, close to many shops, private parking, public parking and the metro station. The brewery has an outdoor area for the spring and summer periods, a bar lounge area, and an indoor area with a fireplace.Local production takes place right there at the brewery, and you can see the boilers when you go to the washrooms.Speaking of accessibility: the house has an accessible entrance with a spring door, but without automatic activation (which makes it difficult for wheelchair users, users of crutches or walkers to enter. They have an adapted bathroom with support bars and spring doors (the bathroom door it also requires automatic opening). All the sink taps are automatic and so is the waste disposal container. They have no internal steps and the tables are spacious for aligning supports for walking.I asked the restaurant when the menu was in Braille, but the attendant couldn't answer me, so the person I was with needed my help with the order. The service at the house is very pleasant, but now at the end of the year, everything is very busy and it may take a while for you to be served at the table. They have their own store, with souvenir items and beers to take home or as a gift. The menu is wonderful and the fish and cheaps is certainly one of the best I've ever tasted. For those thinking of going with children, the restaurant has seats for older children and high chairs for younger ones, as well as a children's menu for lunch and brunch. It's really worth visiting, especially since the beers are great.Vegetarian options: They have a menu with snacks without the addition of animal products, as well as salads, pasta and portions of cheese, fries and onions.Parking: Parking lots are public parking lots on the street, where you need to park your car in a space and enter the amount of time you will stay. If it passes, you need to update the application. They also have covered parking in some buildings in the region and cost on average 15 dollars an hourKid-friendliness: They have a menu for children, both for lunch and brunch. And they have a seat adapted for older children and a high chair for babies.Wheelchair accessibility: They have adapted bathrooms with support bars, no internal or external steps, tables that accommodate wheelchairs and other items to support mobility. Doors use springs, I don't try to activate them automatically“
“After a long and tiresome day at work, there's no place I anticipate visiting more eagerly than this pub.The menu offers a diverse selection to satisfy every palate.Yet, it's not just the food that keeps me coming back time and again; it's the lively atmosphere and impeccable service provided by the dedicated staff. The team at Filly truly goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcome and well-cared-for.From the friendly greetings upon arrival to the attentive service throughout the meal, their genuine hospitality never fails to leave a lasting impression.Cheers to the team for consistently delivering excellence in every aspect of their service. Thanks!Lida“
“We came to start with only some beers, but the music and the place was cool that we decided to stay for dinner (we were planning to go somewhere else) I had Sheppard pie that come with beans and vegetables, good combination and the portion is large. My friends ask for curry fries, that were sooo good very recommended. Also I saw they have special coffee with Bayliss or Kahlua that I was tempted to try but I was very full,. So I will come back for that. And the service is good our waitress was very nice. She was giving everything that night. Even if they didn't have lime cheesecake pay she said was her favorite.“
“A hopping place on Yonge St. Great stop in for lunch or dins. The specials board is creative and the menu has solid, well put together plates. Smoked salmon appetizer… to die for, and burgers cooked how you like them! A thoughtful kitchen with creative ideas and elevated standard fare. Not your average pub!“
“Still the best kept secret spot at Yonge and Eg. I've literally walked past here the past several years but finally decided to give it a try!Drinks are reasonaly priced and delish! Blues /Jazz/etc live bands, cozy ambiance, lots of space.. You can't really go wrong here. It's my new favorite spot in midtown!“
“From the moment you enter, Koochini captivates with its charming ambiance and welcoming staff. Each dish is a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and crafted with precision. The wine selection is impeccable, expertly curated to elevate the dining experience. Attention to detail and genuine passion shine through, making every moment memorable. For an unforgettable gastronomic journey, it is a must-visit destination.“
“It's second time to order. Last time, it was not that special but this time I had very unusual experience. When I ate immediately, It was okay chicken but next day, it turns better taste. I don't know why and how it works. But it's good :)“
“Great ambience from what I remember Service was ok from what I remember We waited 3 hours for our table cause another table ahead of us sat down at 5pm opening time and left at midnight. We waitlisted at 8pm for a 9:30 table Drinks were sweet but good but sweet from what I remember Food was ok from what I remember I don't remember much“
“I ordered from here for lunch, and ir was awesome.I got a burger with bacon and an egg on it, it was fresh and well seasoned, tasted homemade vs all the commercial burgers out there. Onion rings were on point and crispy, which was nice to see after traveling in a takeout container.Solid place, solid prices. You're not going to regret having a meal Here, and I will definitely go back“
“Good food, great service and atmosphere.A bit on the expensive side. The biggest problem is volume... Bands are very loud and the DJ (on Fridays) just loses it completely and seems to raise the volume every ~10m, more and more until we couldn't take it anymore and left, although we enjoyed the music and the atmosphere. We would have stayed and danced for much longer if not for that.“
“Fantastic little pub with an authentic feel. The staff make you feel right at home. Every once in awhile they bring out samples of different food items from their menu...everything has been so tasty. Fish tacos, hamburger, fries.. are my go-to. If you like beer, their own Duke beer is fantastic. They also have at least 4 different non-alcoholic beers including Guinness 0 which is like 98% similar to regular Guinness.Cheers“
“The staff work super hard to provide a positive experience to everyone, and they deserve recognition. This is a great space to watch a UFC title fight, provided that you're okay missing the preliminaries (because you're waiting for the hockey to end). There was a $30 minimum spend per patron, which wasn't hard to reach given that the food is delicious. The Fox is a surprisingly cosy pub, and a great place to bring friendsVegetarian options: There are plenty of appealing vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: I cannot eat dairy, and had no struggle finding options without cheeseWheelchair accessibility: Not a wheelchair-friendly space; it's Midtown Toronto“
“I had a blast at this vibrant spot, filled with lively music and delightful cuisine. The nachos and mac & cheese were definite highlights, and our waiter provided excellent service. While the cocktail selection was somewhat limited, the overall experience was enjoyable. Keep in mind, though, that it's on the pricier side.“
“A group of us were planning a reunion and we were looking for a bar/pub mid town and my search brought me to the Rose and Crown. I booked The Study for our group months in advance. As the day drew closer, our group also grew. Christine and John assured me that the study and the area around there would hold our group perfectly. And they were not wrong. I would also like to compliment Caitlin who was outstanding, ensuring we all had drinks and food for those who ordered food. She was efficient, friendly and accomodating. Once the live music started that added another element to our gathering. We have heard great feedback from our friends that joined us and I am very happy we chose Rose and Crown for our event.“
“We came with a large group Sunday Night The food here is amazing and the service was excellent. The server was very chill guy (Igor) and helped us with the orders. Our food was served all at once, and it was great. The price was reasonable for a restaurant at Yonge And Eglinton. Definitely will be “
“1st time here, the bar tender/server was funny & personable. we came early for something to eat before our paintnight. Spacious & comfortable. Sectioned area for a decent sized party (easily fit a wedding party with family). would visit again.“
“That was my first time here. The variaty of flavors was awesome!!! We tried 3 of them and we can not say which one was better. Additionally the sever, Mohammad, was so helpfull and polite..Best place for wings.I will be regular of hereVegetarian options: Inferno burgerParking: Large space“
“Work nearby and come here all time after the day is done. Food is pretty good and have found the service to be fantastic. Staff have been very friendly and have bothered to take the time to get to know me and my colleagues - shout out to Dahlia! Makes for a great, welcoming environment!“
“As others have said. A hidden gem within the concrete jungle of Vaughan mills shopping area.Been in the area off and on for 7 years and finally decided to give them a try. Boy am I glad I didWithin 5 minutes I was on a first name basis with Melissa behind the bar. Welcoming and down to earth she’s exactly the type of server you hope to get when you go out to eat.You can tell the place is cared for with great passion and just before I left I met the owner ,Sal , who you can see in the absolutely immaculate kitchen. What a great guy and out of the corner of my eye I see him carefully preparing the meals treating every dish like he’s serving royalty.I’ve been to all star wings on Rutherford more times than I can count and while it’s fine, it pales in comparison to the food, atmosphere and service you will find at The Mills. Highly recommend“
