“So I used to love safin grill that was in the strip club back in the day, my husband has heard me talk about this place for years and years. Yesterday we were in Hamilton and I said before we drive back to Toronto we need to go try this place as it the same owners.
They don’t have the 90’s spicy onions but besides that I was transported back to the 90’s and I had some of the best Shawarma that I’ve had since I was a teenager. The man was super friendly and we shared our memories of the old place which made it an even better experience. The place is very old could used a fresh coat of paint but did that change the food? Nope 🙂‍↔ it was absolutely fantastic, my only complaint is that there are no Toronto locations and I have to drive to Hamilton to get it but it means every time we are there we eat shawarma 💓

Thanks for the blast from the past and not making me look like a liar to my husband 😂 he is now a believer.“

“I stopped by for a chicken shawarma wrap on Sunday afternoon and it was fantastic!! The gentleman behind the counter (Adel) a was amazing and incredibly helpful!! I wish I liked closer as I would visit more often. Such yummy food!!“

“We couldn’t have been happier with our experience! We had La Luna Express, Upper James cater our family gathering, and they went above and beyond in every way. They were incredibly accommodating, generous, and provided so much more than we ever expected.

The value and quality were truly unmatched. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Our entire family raved about the food, and we received so many compliments throughout the gathering.

It’s not often that you find a restaurant that delivers such incredible food, generous portions, exceptional value, and genuinely outstanding service. We are so grateful and will absolutely be ordering from them again. Highly recommend!“

“Been coming here for 14 years now and have been loving it ever since. Would always get the fries with white (garlic) sauce and hot sauce. The shawarma is good too. Have lots memories of going here with my friends then talking and laughing as we eat afteward. Came here yesterday with my girlfriend and got the fries with white and hot sauce. Tasted amazing! Highly recommend Safin grill.“

“Highly recommend the Joojeh kabob. The chicken breast is wonderfully spiced and cooked to perfection resulting in a melt in your mouth experience.“

“Servers when i arrived did not welcome us. Just kept doing what they were doing. Had to stand at the cash register and wait for one of them to come over. After i paid they went back to ignoring us until they randomly just held out a bag and looking at us. Food is amazing. Servers are ummmm...“

“My wife and I ordered the combination platter with both the chicken and beef, and it was absolutely delicious. While both meats were great, I personally enjoyed the beef much more and would definitely order that on its own next time.

The tabouli salad was incredibly fresh and flavorful, the pita bread was soft and warm, and we finished our meal with the baklava, which was the perfect sweet ending.

What really made our visit stand out, though, was the service. Our waitress was upbeat, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Her positive attitude made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Great food, excellent service, and we’ll definitely be back!“
