“So I used to love safin grill that was in the strip club back in the day, my husband has heard me talk about this place for years and years. Yesterday we were in Hamilton and I said before we drive back to Toronto we need to go try this place as it the same owners.
They don’t have the 90’s spicy onions but besides that I was transported back to the 90’s and I had some of the best Shawarma that I’ve had since I was a teenager. The man was super friendly and we shared our memories of the old place which made it an even better experience. The place is very old could used a fresh coat of paint but did that change the food? Nope 🙂‍↔ it was absolutely fantastic, my only complaint is that there are no Toronto locations and I have to drive to Hamilton to get it but it means every time we are there we eat shawarma 💓

“What a great meal from Golden Pita!!! We both enjoyed 2 main entrees of Chicken Shawarma and Shiska Kafka, delicious Lentil Soup, Salad with Pita’s and Baklava for dessert. “Service was prompt, and accommodating. The portions are generous, so I would say descent value. The server helped accommodate my requests/food allergies. BEST babaganoush I've had, I eat one in house and order one to take home! The House salad is also a favorite of mine. Falafels are delicious! Crispy on the outside, and tender inside. Chicken skewers were tasty as well; constructively perhaps a touch less time under heat to ensure a more juicy inside, but the outside was on point.

Temperature of the restaurant was freezing for my preference, maybe ideal if you are actively moving around but as a guest sitting still it was quite uncomfortable.

Overall a delicious dinner with plenty of time to visit, without feeling rushed. We have been in the past, and we will be back. Thank you for your hospitality.“

“I tried shawarma fries for the first time in toronto a couple months ago, and Lazeez shawarma was the place to go for my local shawarma place. I always go here when i want to pickup some fast food. The fries are awesome and the garlic sauce is OUTSTANDING! Its a nice little place for something thats different from other foods. Its also not too busy at most times wich makes it good considering that are usually only 1-2 workers. The only downside is when it is busy it takes about 15-20 minutes longer. Overall this place is fabulous and always will want to come here.“

“My wife and I just ate at the Ancaster Monfort Grill House twice this weekend! They were superb! The Lamb Shishlick was incredible…the sides and pita was some of the best I’ve ever had! “The lady working tonight provided excellent customer service and gave us great service overall. The quality and quantity of the chicken are exactly what you pay for. Unlike the Lazeez in Guelph Line, which made us never want to go to Lazeez again because the quantity and quality of the chicken, sauce, and food were horrible, this location was the complete opposite. We decided to try this location as a last attempt before giving up on the Lazeez chain altogether.
