“My partner and I came here for date night and it was such a great experience. It was my first time eating at The Keg and our server, Dalton, made the evening memorable with his outstanding service. We started with a crisp Caesar salad (the only one I've ever had that I can say compete with my father's - even Dad agreed) and a beautifully balanced Caprese salad with the freshest basil, both savoury and well-executed. Even the bread and butter were exceptionally phenomenal—a simple yet telling detail of the kitchen’s commitment to quality. For mains, the halibut was perfectly tender, the rack of lamb with scallops rich and flavourful, and the filet mignon flawlessly cooked with a peppercorn sauce that was absolute perfection. “I recently visited this Hakka restaurant after seeing some excellent reviews, which seemed genuine compared to many others. I decided to give it a try, and it turned out to be the best Hakka experience we had in years. The food was fresh and clean, without being overloaded with MSG like many other Hakka places. From the fried rice to the dry chilli fish, Hakka noodles, and soup, each dish had a unique taste and fantastic flavor. Unlike other Hakka spots where everything tastes the same, this place really stood out. The chicken was tender, with a light batter that made it soft and easy to eat, not hard or chewy. Chef Gopi was also incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain dishes we weren’t familiar with and guiding us toward the perfect choices. Overall, this will definitely be our go-to Hakka restaurant from now on. Amazing job, team!“

“We joined friends for a lovely meal yesterday. Of course there were a variety of dishes from which to choose; but with all the reviews and reccomendations it made our choices difficult. We ended up ordering the meatballs with garlic bread, a definite hit!, the Pizza Fuks, the Flat Iron steak with rapini, Oysters, Seafood Risotto and mushroom Gnocchi. All were excellent. We first tried Born & Raised when they opened; we found the wait staff then very arrogent , which soured our experience. So we tried again, after hearing good things from friends and family; so 10 years later tried again. Boy are we glad we did! Wait staff were very friendly, easy to talk to and as a celiac, my only disappointment was I was told I could not have the gnocchi. Our drinks were prepared well and the food again, was outstanding! We definitely will return, thank you to all in the restaurant that made our night out so great. Major kudos to the chef and kitchen!“

“Beautiful restaurant. Awesome food. Flavor is spot on. Ribeye medium rare cooked perfectly. Great chimichurri sauce! Brussel sprouts side is very tasty. Truffle mashed unfortunately had no truffle flavor at all. Grilled calamari was cooked well and good flavoring on the sauces. Music is abit too loud we could barely hear the waiter and the choice of music don’t really suit the ambiance of the place (it went from dance to hip hop and then country music anything but dinner music) Service was great. Portion size was good.“

“We just had a wonderful dinner in this amazing place ,I've been ordering from them for a long time ... The owner is keeping the food and quality at the same standards as his opening day ....Coco is such a pleasant person to talk to also she is always attentive and careful .Never had a glass empty ,always comes and ask if we are happy with the food if we need anything......very good customer service. We are driving 20 min to this restaurant but I would do it all the time and the reason is as I said customer service impeccable, accommodation being vegan lots of restaurants found hard ways to accommodate us ....and on top of everything....the positive energy that flows is just above everyone's expectations.“
