“Service was great! We showed up 15 minutes early and were seated right away. Our waitress was quick and continuously checked in on us. The food came 20 minutes after we ordered and was amazing! Overall a great experience! Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick sit down meal!“

“First time at the Whitby North location and I was blown away with the quality and customer service provided at this location. We were greeted and seated immediately, drinks were out quick and food came out fast…. And yes it was a full house/ very busy. We were impressed with the owners Baskar’s commitment to quality and checking in with the customer experience. Our server Sush was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Extremely happy with the Whitby chucks team. We have been to many Chucks locations in Ontario and this one by far will have me coming back.“

“Tim was an excellent server, very funny and pleasant. A big group was in the restaurant so the service was a bit slower than usual but Tim made up for it with funny jokes and stories whenever he dropped by to check on us. Would definitely come back!“

“In July 2022, I had the pleasure of attending 8-Bit Beans for my grandson's birthday celebration (at the Whitby location). He chose the venue, and it was such a great choice. I even played some retro arcade games, even though I usually consider myself "too old" for that stuff. The overall vibe is why I played the games. I felt like a kid again for just a little while. Tasty (but simple) adult and kid friendly food that was served in a timely manner, and with a smile. The staff were polite and friendly, and the service was top notch. I look forward to returning in the future.“

“We were celebrating a birthday and it was absolutely perfect! Definitely will be back. We enjoyed the winter menu as well. A wee bit disappointed about 2 deserts weren't available but we managed quite well with the other deserts offered. Thank you“

“Our server Sydney was great however I can’t say the same about the bartender Alana . Our table waited over ten minutes for 1 beer and a frozen margarita . When the margarita arrived it was slushy and watery it looked nothing like the previous one that someone else at the table had, we asked our server to remake it and I watched her walk over to ask the bartender Alana and point to the other margarita on our table, only to watch Alana shrug her shoulders and mouth something along the lines of “ not my problem, I’m busy go get someone else” our server came over to advise there was a slight delay and I requested the manager . Having worked both the bar and floor myself and having a restaurant in the family we notice things like this and it sets a tone. People will come for the food but will not return due to the service !“

“We came across this bar during a drive and decided to stop by for a quick drink. We ended up coming back because the bartender, Eddie, was super nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was fantastic, with great music that had everyone in a good mood. The crowd was lively and fun, making it a perfect spot to hang out. Definitely a place worth revisiting!“

“Went to Quick Flame for a late lunch, absolutely enjoyed it. Jody our server was awesome, very friendly and attentive. I have been craving a club sandwich and ordered the Classic Club, it didn't disappoint, was truly delicious and my sweet potato fries were excellent. My husband had trouble deciding as there are so many good things on the menu, but he chose the French Dip and loved it, had a side of the homestyle gravy to go with his fries and he was happy. Next I want to try the Cobb Salad or the Philly Melt.....the list goes on. We have been searching for a place to call ours as our old place had to close down and we have found it. Love the bar area and big TVs, wish they were open longer as we would love to come for pay for view sports like MMA fights, would be perfect, but the atmosphere is so nice there and your serving staff are a class above. Thank you! We will be back.“

“Uodate 1/24/2026: the beef tenderloin sandwich is excellent here. Kenzie seated us and also showed us the dessert menu - gave us her recommendations. She was very warm and welcoming. Our server, Natalia, did an amazing job looking after us. She explained our options and was super cheerful with all her customers. We've been here before so we know Ella also, who works at the bar. They have such good staff here. Kudos to this team.
