“The food is really good. The service is nice but there is one waitress that is not professional at all, she did not “allow” us to buy (pay extra) and take out our own leftovers and proceeded to tell us order less next time, and constantly telling us to hurry up even though it wasn’t even close to closing time. I would go back again for the great food but this lady makes the experience much less enjoyable.“

“What an incredible place. If you've been to Unionville, you'll know that the area has many cute and aesthetic restaurants/cafe's but this one is truly a gem. The restaurant has a very cozy but fancy vibe, dimly lit but there's still enough light to see all of the amazing food served here. The staff were super friendly, greeting every customer, both coming in and leaving. The food was definitely super good and worth the price (which, on that note, wasn't too expensive). We ordered skewers, scallops and a beef noodle soup. The skewers were kind of dry on their own, a dipping sauce definitely would have improved them a lot, and the scallops were very fresh, but I'm not a huge scallop fan so I didn't get to enjoy it fully (but my boyfriend said the texture was really good and chewy, and the seasoning really enhanced the flavour). The beef noodle soup was really flavourful and the beef itself wasn't too tough to chew. Honestly I will be going back soon, there are still so many things I want to try and I truly enjoyed the ambience.“

“We used to come for their hand pulled noodle and didn't know they started a breakfast/ congee menu and expanded their regular menu. The place wasn't busy which is surprising as the value of the breakfast deal is amazing considering you get a decent sized bowl of congee with fritters/ rice roll/ turnip cakes of some sort. I definitely appreciates the separate table and how spacious the place is in comparison to other similar restaurants in the area. Service was prompt and friendly. I definitely would want to have their noodles again when I come back next time.“

“We stopped here for a warm meal after a day of skiing because it was the only thing we could find on Google that was open late enough and wow - what a pleasant surprise. We had the classic beef with thin round noodle and the Dan Dan with flat wide noodles. Both were absolutely delicious but the flat wide noodles were especially good - we didn’t realize when ordering that they were hand pulled. The bill came to around $30 for two of us with very generous portions. Also, we sat at a table near the boss who greeted us very warmly and told us all about what the restaurant is best known for. We don’t live in the area unfortunately but this would be worth a drive. Thank you for a lovely and cozy meal“

“Stopped in here on a whim and super happy we did. We got the special they have right now which is char siu soy sauce chicken and rice combo that comes with soup, all for $8.99 plus tax.The soup was delicious - a lot of quality Asian ingredients were used in it. The char Siu was nice and lean, and they use a different recipe with the sauce that is a little different from other places, but still delicious. The texture on all the food including the rice was perfect. Sometimes BBQ places make the rice too mushy, but this one was great.Lastly the people here seem really nice and were very welcoming to us. Seemed like they knew a lot of the people coming in too. Happy to support friendly people ?Note - only accepts debit and cash“

“We had a small banquet here; the service and food quality are very good. Above all, the Manager Mr. David Tsing is very professional, welcoming and he keeps up with his arrangements. The process to order the banquet to the actual services has been very smooth and satisfying. Thanks David! We will come again.“

“Personally this is the best Korean bbq place i have ever had. I have been to a few Korean bbq places but for me no other place is better than Korean grill house. Never have been disappointed in this place also been in other location on younge street, both the old and the new location. There is something about their sauce anything tastes really good when dipping whatever you have cooked in it. The next you know you already had 4 or 7 bowls of rice. Would recommend this place good to bring big group of friends and the whole family. If haven’t tried Korean bbq before this is the best place to start. This will give you a better comparison when trying a different Korean bbq place.“

“This is our go-to ribs place. Ribs are always juicy and meaty. Fall off the bones goodness. I put the sauce on everything. I also love their beans. The only thing I don't like is the corn bread. You don't get much flavours from them, but it's not horrible.I usually order a day ahead on the weekends, especially if there's a big game on.“

“Super affordable and tasty HK style bbq meat. Roasted pork skin was crispy, duck and chicken were flavourful! I was told that there'll always be a line for their food. We lucked out, only waited less than half an hour at around 2.30pm on a Sunday.“

“I ordered a few dishes, and I recommend the dipped tripe and spicy pepper sausage. The cauliflower, boiled fish, and stir-fried kidney and liver were just so-so. The service is average and the price is good. It is considered a relatively good Jianghu dish.“
“This restaurant locates inside the plaza kennedy and bur oak. They are only doing take out no dine in yet.My friend told me to try this place dishes. I ordered the spicy chicken and the fried pork chop with garlic and pepper. These dishes were so delicious. The pork chop dish was made very tasty, not greasy not dry. The order comes with soup and rice. I will check out the menu as it has lot of choices and order again. I recommend this place“

“Loved this place long even before the renovations and came back recently for brunch. Still the same people running it and some old staff. Fantastic dim sum and great service. No wait or lineup for Sunday brunch but that’ll soon change once word gets out. Like the new updates they made. Lots of extra staff for dimsum ?“

“We waited about 20 minutes in line but it was honestly worth it - each plate was $9 + tax, portions were big and the bbq pork and roast duck were both juicy and succulent. You even get complimentary broth as well! The owners were also friendly. Make sure to bring cash as they are cash only! The only downside is that the food isn't piping hot. It's just room temperature.“
