“Top class service, tasty food, great wine, and just a wonderful experience. I called for a reservation for my girl's birthday a week in advance and the owner remembered without me saying a word when we arrived. At the end he brought her a complimentary delicious French vanilla ice cream topped with a macaron and raspberries filled with caramel. That's world class. As for the main meal, we ordered crab cakes, scallops, and I had the ribeye and she had the striploin. It was cooked exactly the way we love it and the beef quality is absolutely fantastic. The Chilean wine we had with it was fantastic. My desert was a warm pecan pie a la mode. Just delicious. This is the kind of place you would want to be at for a special birthday. We will 100% be back. Service like this isn't common in Toronto and I think you will enjoy it as much as we did.”

The pistachio and hazelnut flavour were the best with a strong flavour profile thought each bite. Unfortunately, the earl grey was disappointing given that the reviews made it seem like a good pick- flavour wise it was very light without that luxurious bergamot and vanilla flavour you would expect from its name. I would not indulge in the dessert everyday at such a high price point but the quality , freshness and taste make it worth for those special occasions. Delicious nonetheless!”

I understand that this might be due to the online ordering process, but honestly, online orders should be treated with the same care and attention as in-store customers. The next time I receive a sandwich like this, I will personally bring it back. Customers ordering online deserve the same quality and service as those dining in.”

“I use to live around the corner from this bagel shop (20+ years ago) - and I, to this day, make a monthly drive to this location. I've been to the location in the market and the location in thornhill - this by far is the BEST location! As a former Montrealer - I'd like to think i know a thing or two about bagels. These are as authentic as the bagels in Montreal - I will go so far as to say even better.
This location specifically is consistent in their quality, service and assortment of goodies. I've purchased both fresh and day old bagels (usually on sale - buy 6, get six free) - they freeze very well.
Their pre- made egg/tuna little tea sandwiches are the bomb! Their flavoured cream cheese (dill or chive) are also amazing! The service is always courteous and prompt. Parking is a little bit of a challenge- but I can usually find a spot on one of the neighboring side streets for free.
So worth the monthly drive from Vaughan!”

My kids are big fans of bubble tea and always love trying new places, so we were excited to come across Comic Tea at 2470 St. Clair Ave W. Omg their drinks are uniquely different and absolutely delicious! You won’t find your typical menu here, and that’s what makes it so fun.

The vibe in the store is awesome, we especially loved the featured art wall, which gives the space a cool, creative feel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the portions are generous. Bonus: the cups are really well-designed and super cute!

If you’re in the area or even just curious to try something new, Comic Tea is definitely worth a visit!”
