“I ordered the fish burger combo. The fries are really good and crispy, much better than I expected. The fish burger was really nice, a little too much lettuce portion on it, but a very nice meal, and larger than I expected. Wait times are longer than expected. I was told 8 Minutes for my food and I waited almost 20 minutes, which is double the time than expected. I would have been ok with this is I was told a realistic time instead of a time that they just wanted me to hear which sounds good to me. The atmosphere of the place ain't too bad, pretty decent, will try again in the future.“

“Wow! This place is such a great neighbourhood spot, I can see why there are so many glowing reviews. It does get busy, so get there earlier. There are some parking spots available if you're lucky.

Tip: I overheard someone get their chips well done. If only I had known...

The chowder is nice and creamy. The fish is crispy and light and they clearly use fresh oil because it tastes fresh and doesn't have much of an oily/greasy aftertaste. The cod cheeks are delectable. The coleslaw is a bit of the lighter end, but maybe I'm too used to the goopy soupy mess that is KFC's. Caesar salad is also a bit light.

And you cannot leave without trying the key lime pie! Another table egged me on to get it and I am forever grateful. The key lime pie is such a good, deep blend of the tartness, sour, and a bit of sweet. The crumble is also great. It's the perfect complement for fish and chips.

The service is phenomenal. They're so great and I could see the owner walking around chatting with some of the regulars.

I will definitely be coming back, especially to try that apple crisp.“

We ordered the pork chili, steam momos, and the beef soup. Our favourite was the pork chili :D it had the perfect balance of crispiness and softness, it was so good!! not too spicy too :)) the amount of food we ordered was surprisingly cheap too!

“I have been eating here since 1985. Love the place. The food and people are just amazing. My children love it and now my Grandchildren. In fact my 5 year old Grand daughter is always asking to go there. :)
Try and you will not be disappointed.
When my family comes from England they insist we go there. They say it's better than any fish n chips there. :)“

“Good little korean restaurant serving fish and chips and burgers too! We had the Ddeokbokki with additional ramen noodles, cheese corn, and the small seasoned chicken.
The service was good, the owners were very friendly. Food is good and tasty. The only complaint I can think of is that there was no vegetables on the ddeokbokki like in the pictures. It would have been excellent with the green onions and red bell peppers.
They have a washroom at the basement too.“

We got the daily special fish and chips combo. It’s $11 with tax (see picture). A steal to find and definitely worth it since it will put you into a good food coma afterwards.

The daily special fish and chips combo comes with a good sized haddock fish, lots of crispy chips, choice of coleslaw or gravy, and a pop. The haddock is awesome. It’s nicely battered to make it crispy on the outside while maintaining that nice flaky fish goodness on the inside. Also, the gravy is a must. It goes so good with the crispy chips.

Heads up, limited seating. It’s more of a take out fish and chips shop.“

“Best fish and chips in Vaughan and as authentic as you can get in London, UK. The portions are generous and well priced at $22.99 (via UberEats) for 12oz Haddock, small chips, coleslaw, lemon twist, and fresh tartar sauce. The Haddock batter was thin and crispy, and fish was moist and tender. The chips aren’t crispy or seasoned, but they’re not supposed to be as is the case in England. Although chips are usually more lightly cooked, I prefer browned chips for more colour and flavour. The fish has all the crisp you need and it pairs well with soft chips. The vinegar based coleslaw was thinly sliced and adds great freshness. I appreciate the fresh lemon included, and malted vinegar and ketchup packets on the side. The fresh tartar sauce was great. It’s not too tangy, and I prefer that so you can add as much or little lemon/vinegar to taste.My only small criticism is maybe add more seasoning (salt) to the fish and/or fish batter. The fish and chips were a bit oily, and although I’d prefer it less oily, I know that’s a challenge without losing the crisp texture - it didn’t bother me much. Maybe a slightly higher temp and shorter cook time? However, the oil was fresh and no bitter taste (that comes in old or unfiltered oil) - I greatly appreciate that. You have to level set expectations when it comes to oil - you’re getting fish and chips, and not a salad.Overall, it was delicious and I highly recommend to anyone looking for great fish and chips, and definitely best in Vaughan (after having tried many). “Good burger! Good food. Store is depressing and staff is lacking any customer service, they don’t talk, smile or reply to any questions (no small talk eat and leave haha). Other than that it’s good place to eat. Recommended and will go back.

Only downside is the dinning area looks quite drab, it needs some colour and change the white industrial lights to soft yellow home style lighting.“

“I usually go to another fish and chips place on the Queensway and I was very reluctant about trying somewhere new (the other place was closed Mondays). To my surprise the fish and chips here was very good! The orders are huge and the lady that was working was very very kind. I’d reccomend the half order of halibut and chips or shrimp and chips. The coleslaw is nice and creamy, the gravy and tartar sauce was spot on however I wasn’t crazy about the calamari. Overall very good, I’d definetly be back!“

The place itself is easy to miss, being tucked away in a little strip mall. It would hold 30-35 people max. The owner works very hard to keep her customers happy and provide a good experience.
