“I stopped by for a mid-week lunch. There was a line up but service was fairly quick and I was not in a rush so it wasn't a problem. I didn't sample the entire menu, but I can say that the double leg dinner was fantastic! The chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. The fries were excellent, some of the best I've ever eaten. Salads were fresh and wonderfully flavourful. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are very customer oriented. Definitely will be back!“

“My girlfriend and I recently visited this restaurant and had a great experience. The staff was polite and accommodating, and the service was excellent. I ordered the rare beef soup, and she initially chose the seafood soup, but later decided she wasn’t in the mood for it. The staff kindly replaced it with the same beef soup I had, which she ended up enjoying.
The shrimp roll we shared was delicious, and when it came time to pay, we were pleasantly surprised that they didn’t charge us for the returned seafood soup. I mentioned leaving a Google review, and they even offered us a complimentary juice (normally $7–9).
Overall, we enjoyed the food and service and will definitely return. Pro tip: mention a Google review, and you might score a free juice too!“
“The food was fresh and delicious. They have daily specials. I also had a very good smoothie that was made on the spot, with fresh ingredients and real fruit. The place is spotless, with the space well used, and the attention is very friendly.“

“We had the spicy pork bulgogi on a sizzling platter and seafood noodle soup and we are stuffffffffed. Also hot take but the california rolls are weirdly good. Cozy place too with a cute front room. Our server was very friendly and kind too. :)“

“Best service, pork chops and atmosphere in the GT. Shout out to server David for a great experience every time! Funny dude. I’ve brought my family and they’ve all loved it… just try it. Special mention to Helen - she really knows what she’s doing by not allowing customers to skip us in line!“

“Bar none, this is one of The best places for ramen in Toronto. If the aesthetic doesn't pull you in (gotta love any restaurant that has a Giant Wooden Storm God Statue in the middle of it), then the food should. And they sell vacuum-sealed, frozen ramen so you can take some home! Highly recommended.“
“Soup It Up has always delivered exactly what I want from it: ruthlessly efficient service and unpretentious soup and sandwiches. Nothing more. Nothing less. Looking at earlier reviews, the complaints seem to be focused on the decline in quality over time. I've only been coming to Soup It up for the last two years, but haven't noticed any decline at all in that time. The sandwiches are particularly good value. There are better lunch options in the PATH, but these ratings are largely unfair in my view. I for one will continue to proudly and shamelessly SOUP IT UP on my lunch breaks.“

“Thank you for a generous big bowl full of tasty, nutritious real food after travelling a long way. Friendly staff. Just what we needed landing in an unfamiliar city. Recommended. I wish you well in your business.

“Love this little spot in the corner of the food court! You can order ahead with ritual too which can save you a ton of time if you know what you’re looking for. Try to come before 1pm, as they don’t tend to replace soup options as they run out after the lunch rush. There’s no dining in the restaurant as it’s just a takeout place attached to regular food court seating.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian soup options!“

“Sushi 4 U is an adorable shop by the lake with some of the best sushi I've had. We got the Black Dragon maki, a Double Salmon maki, and two orders of tuna and salmon nigiri. It was all well priced, delicious, and looked beautiful. Our server Katie was so sweet and helpful, she made our dining experience go from good to great. If you get a chance, check out this hidden gem :)“

“I order catering from Porta Via quite often for corporate events I run for work. They food is a 10/10 hit and people beg me to order from here every single time. I usually end up ordering the boxes to make it easier with the panini and salad and the paninis are so filling I always have half left over for dinner. Well worth it. I huge shout out to the kind gentleman who delivers from the Eglington location. He is always on time, extremely polite and goes out of his way to call in advance, when he is here and helps bring in the order if I need it (although I try to have a cart so he doesn't have to). He's the best! Their online ordering is perfect and if you have any dietary concerns I just have to write comments in and I have never had any issues with them accommodating. Give them a try for catering or just a walk in, you won't regret it.“

“Came here for dinner and got the ayce Pho with a friend. The menu was a little confusing as it makes it seem like you are limited to 1 protein from the list of ingredients listed under ayce pho. Essentially for the ayce pho, when you order it, it’ll come with everything listed under the name of whichever ayce pho you order on the menu. This includes things like the pork and seafood toppings that are listed below some of them. It is included.
Make sure to let your server know if you don’t want any of the topping options on the list as ours ended up bringing out everything including vegetables and things we weren’t too keen on eating.
The pho broth was a bit too salty for our liking but I appreciate the variety of toppings given to us.
Service was fine and it wasn’t very busy when we went.“

“A bowl of rice noodles and a plate of grilled skewers, two highlights:
1) Satisfied with meat noodles. A spoonful of noodles with a piece of meat left in the end is better than eating dry noodles with the meat gone first.
2) The spiciness is appropriate, not some weird spiciness that makes you feel uncomfortable after eating, but the kind that feels more natural after eating.
Worthy of praise“

“Hands down the best BUN BO HUE in the city. The combination of spices and spiciness in the soup base really hit the spot. I substituted the beef shank and pork bone for lean rare beef. Been coming here for decades and will continue to come back for this soup, which is only served on weekends. Service was quick and easy.“

“Went there for Friday lunch. Followed some comments recommending egg basterma, which is scrambled eggs with potatoes. It was good but nothing mind blowing nor very different from normal scrambled eggs. However I enjoyed cardamom latte & rice pudding ($7). Staff was friendly. Will have to try another main dish to have a definite opinion.“

“The food was tasty, fresh and delicious. They were spiced generously and very flavourful. At first glance the portions seemed small but after eating, our party of 4 was very full and satisfied. Dishes ordered: Dum-Pukht chicken biryani, hirayali chicken, dry manchurian paneer, hot & sour soup, aloo gobhi masala, schezwan rice (spicy crowd favourite), nest rasamalai(this was assembled table-side), and the sour amaretto (this wasn’t as strong as I’d like).“

“BOBO Bento Box way down on Ft. York Blvd in downtown Toronto was a hard one to rate.
The space is cute. Tiny and cozy. It is a casual eatery.
The service was kind and helpful. It started as a bit cold and business like but the person at the till warmed as we spoke more.
The food is interesting. Is it Korean? Japanese? There's even Irish/Chinese fusion on the menu. I tried the bulgogi pork bowl and it was great...but it didn't taste traditional. And the same for the spicy minced meat noodle...noodles tasted of sesame dishes in Japan but the minced meat and spice reminded me of Chinese hand pulled noodle shops.
It was all good. They use a lot of oil in their cooking so just a heads up.

“Chive, pork, and shrimp potstickers were a 10/10. They’re already well seasoned, perfectly fine to eat them as is, I added chili oil and vinegar to mine for an extra kick.
Chive pockets were well seasoned, the chives were not dry at all, no sandy texture either.
Would get both items again!“

“Oct2024: third visit, and fond of the beef dry noodles, extra spicy and crispy pork bun. The special, marinated pork belly on rice with a braised egg is good too.
Have tried several of the side dishes and liked all of them: three delicacies in tofu, tofu with preserved egg, kelp salad, wood fungus salad, spicy beef tripe, crispy bun with pork and siu mai.
The noodles and sides are a good size serving for single diners. I think a noodle dish plus one side would be filling for most diners.
Rice noodles are also offered if you don't want wheat based noodles.
They also have lunch specials between 11:30am-3:30pm.
Seating is limited and austere, but service and food was excellent.
Not many places offer dry noodles and I thought this version was quite good and a decent serving size, will be back.
Vegetarian options: There are tofu dishes, vegetable dishes and dry noodle dishes made without meat.
The dry noodles sauce is made without meat or animal products and ingredients are listed in the menu: sesame paste, cilantro, green onion, sour green bean, dried radish.
Parking: Plenty of free parking, the restaurant is located in an office building surrounded by a parking lot.“

“My go-to spot for rice noodles. Noodles come served piping hot, broth is flavourful and very fairly priced for what it is. Tried their red chili tofu shred - super flavourful and spicier than expected, paired well with the original noodles. Seating was comfy and spacious, friendly staff.
Great spot for a casual meal or if you’re craving a hot bowl of noodle soup.“

“Great franchised restaurant specializing in boiling hot soup noodle and braised chicken rice. No beer (or any alcohol) to kill the heat but there are other drinks available. This location seems to be more generous with their portions but the flavours seem lighter. Still good.Unfortunately there is only one single stall unisex washroom, so sometimes you'll have to line up.Good service, nice ladies.“

“Went there unintentionally just to get some quick snack while waiting for friends. The atmosphere was like you are so where in France. I grabbed salad and a coffee and my partner enjoyed tasty cappuccino. Great balanced dressing not overpowering the taste of the fresh greens and sesame seeds. Service itself was great, since they recognized I was a first-time visitor, the ambassador had helped me to make a choice. To my surprise the prices were “balanced” as well. Great place in the heart of Toronto! Recommend it.“

“This particular branch offers a Hainan Chicken with bok choy combo meal for only $12.99. There are 6 big pieces of chicken, a generous amount of ginger green onion sauce, more than enough bok choy to have as a typical veggie portion and yellow flavoured rice. It’s also possible to add more bok choy for just a dollar more.
Other Shanghai 360 branches do not offer this (the one in Union station doesn’t offer this nor the one at First Canadian Place).
Service in the past 3x I’ve been here has always been good. The portion is big enough for a hungry person and the price is pretty good. Flavour wise, it’s good enough for a fast food place, not the real Hainanese chicken but I can’t expect more for a food stall in a building food court.
The grilled chicken was not good, tasted funny - bland and nowhere near any Chinese cuisine, but the steamed bass fish in a light soya sauce was flavourful. Almost what you can get in a restaurant. It wasn’t over cooked too.“

“We were so happy when we found out that this Pai location was in our neighbourhood and it has now become a staple. We don't notice a difference from the downtown and Eglinton locations - it's the exact same quality and portion sizes. We also love that they are so accommodating about substitutions and making items gluten free. Never a bad meal here!“
