“Ordered the Pork Jjajang myun (best in Portland so far that I’ve tasted) and Seafood Jjambong although a bit spicy. Don’t let the restaurant name and exterior fool you. It’s authentic!“

“This was a really nice spot. It had a really good layout, a big bay door entry, clean, and a beautiful view of the walking bridge. The service was quick and prompt, and their plating was phenomenal. (FLOWERS ON MY PLATE, AND DRINK?! YESSSSS) The food wasn't as spicy as I was hoping. But they brought over spices to bring it up to my insane level of spice. Not enough spice is a me problem, not them. I will be coming back!“

“Their menu is really unique, imo, and they've added quite a few things since I was here last. The pork or caramelized fennel Ramen are my go-tos, and we tried the pot stickers, new on the menu for me, my new favorite! The curry rice bowl is great too. There's so much more! Don’t be mislead by the name, they have so much more than wings. Everything was vibrant and full of flavor, and we can’t wait to come back to try more. They mentioned they have a new menu and it did not disappoint.

Our favorites:
- Nem Kao- huge portion and so bright
- Street Corn- sooo flavorful
- Fried Trout- a must order!
- Chicharrones- crispy and light
- Yuzu beignets- served warm and the sauce!
- Carrots- the most amazing fish sauce caramel

We got a great corner booth, wonderful attentive service and it was so reasonably priced for a delicious meal with fresh food. We’ve already texted friends to go there immediately.“

“We did takeout so can't speak to dine in experience. Looked like limited seating though there were a lot of plants. Food portions are extremely generous and teriyaki chicken and rice was excellent, not too sauced, salty or sweet. Will try other things next time. Google posts that they close at 8pm, though sign on door says 7pm. Don't play yourself and come late.“

“The dining experience was exceptionally positive. The staff demonstrated attentive service, although the table became somewhat crowded with the abundance of dishes, potentially due to our over ordering. (really wanted to try the whole menu including dessert!)

While we were unable to secure the reserved window-side seating with the view of the riverside due to our late arrival, the restaurant's ambiance was captivating regardless of the seating location. “Great counter service here, no complaints.

Great value for their chicken teriyaki bento at $15. It comes with a leafy green/ carrot salad in a yummy dressing and 2 pieces of tempura / pot stickers with dipping sauce and rice (white or black mix). The chicken seems to be pre-marinated and has good char. The teriyaki sauce is slathered on top and is not too sweet and has a good flavor.

The sides offered here are the same as their Mr. bento burger location.

Their chili popcorn chicken was not crispy as i was expecting but it still tasted good like spicy orange chicken.

I am interested in trying their other menu items which at first glance appears to be very Korean-Chinese fusion like.

Parking is a bit limited yet most folks come here for take-out so spots open up fast.

Unfortunately, they don't offer any lunch specials.“

“Best takeout American-style Chinese restaurant in Portland. We used to live in Forest Heights and think this is probably what we miss most about it. We drive 15 mins from SW Portland to get it now and it’s worth the drive. General Tso chicken, chow mein and BBQ pork fried rice are our go-to’s.“

Atmosphere is humble, and that's a good thing. Sometimes you need to be at a place like this that is cozy and comfortable on a Thursday afternoon. Oh yeah one thing to note that the service is very slow.

“5 stars for the food and the Teppanyaki chef. He was great and food was really yummy! 2 stars for the other server (Hispanic female?) Clearly didn't know her menu and quoted (and charged) incorrect pricing for beer and even delivered the wrong beer. Nowhere on my receipt did it say the word "Sapporo", yet that's what I got. Her response was "Oh, well, you asked about an entirely different beer." Yeah, I did ask... so? I didn't really understand that one either?!?!Know your menu... It's really not that big or complicated! Nothing ruins a great (yet pretty expensive) night out more than a server who ether doesn't know what they're doing or is just lazy/sloppy. Take pride in your craft!“

Though the lost delivery was 100% not their fault, they still remade the food and made sure it got to my door. This very high level of service is commendable! I am a customer for life now.
