“We went to celebrate Mcmenamins Sunnyside Birthday. Got mini cupcakes. Definitely fun. They had their special birthday menu in celebration of the birthday event. Service was awesome. “One of favorite breweries. A hidden jewel of the Portland beer scene. High quality beer in a wide variety of traditional styles and some innovations. Chill and friendly vibe. Dog friendly. Worth going off the beaten path to have a pint or two.“

“Great low-key atmosphere, rain or shine! Family and dog friendly. Tons of outdoor seating, dozens of brews on tap, and several food truck options. We opted for brews and 1/4 slices of Ranch Pizza's pepperoni pizza and breadsticks. Everything hit the spot, staff were kind and helpful, and on a Friday night there was live music on the patio. We'll certainly be back!“

“Drink a tasty micro-brew as you watch the sunset. Huge tap list. if you like Hazy IPA, try out ‘Glow Stick’. The Korean Chicken Wings can be hit or miss. When it’s a hit, they’re tasty. The bruschetta and brussels are excellent choices as well. When the weather is nice, the outside seating is a must.Last night (Thursday) they had an outstanding acoustic guitar player singing all your favorite mellow covers. The music filled the space, while not overtaking it, so you could still have a conversation.Pro-tip: If you’re coming from the east side of the train tracks, and you don’t want to get stuck in your car for a full hour, use Powell Blvd and you avoid the tracks!!“

“Preston is one of the kindest, most personable bartenders in the city, so glad LB was able to retain his talents. Give that man a raise.Beers are diverse; light sours are the main attraction, but plenty of IPAs, stouts + lagers as well. The lager is stellar. Nice to finally see some higher ABV options.Patio is great, dog friendly, both open air + more private options. The establishment encourages outside seating, which is nice to see when most places are practicing COVID denial.Lawless BBQ is no Holy Trinity, but damn good, and very reasonably priced. “Great setup with the various food vendors that are part of the building. Lots of different styles of beer and the server was friendly. The Timbers were on TV and this seems like a fun place to watch a game but we couldn’t stick around. Would like to come back in the summer and enjoy the covered patio.“

“I was so impressed by how relaxing and welcoming this brewery was between all the plants and staff and of course the amazing beer!Portland is known for some of the best beer mainly the IPAs and hands-down this was such a fun spot I spent hours just hanging out at the bar enjoying amazing pizza and beer. “What a cozy, friendly, clean and comfortable spot to enjoy lunch and a drink or two! We came into Portland which is always a little dicey, and went out of our normal stomping grounds to try Tamale Boy on Russell. We discovered that Second Profession Brewing is right next door and Tamale Boy will bring your food to you there, so we took advantage of that. Friendly welcoming service, good drinks and a VERY clean, pleasant and stylish place to enjoy our food. We will definitely be back soon!“

“Showed up late in the evening again, barely making last call. It was empty but had a good conversation with the only other customer and staff. Only had the Japanese lager in keeping with my final last days in Portland, no more hopps for awhile. They also had an MKIII in the corner I didn't get a chance to feed. Worth a trip if in the area“

“definitely in the upper echelon of breweries in Portland. I have it just above Deschutes and in the company of 10 Barrel Brewing and Breakside. Normally im not a lager guy either but their Helles Lagerbier was really great and lives up to its GABF Medal. They make a great summer shandy out of it too. Also, there IPAs here are really great and live up to the West Coast IPA scene. the Spellbound IPA was really good and their original ipa and Earth's Eris were pretty good too“

“You won't know it on the website , but they serve square shaped deep dish pizza , here. And it's really good . The beers , however , are citris centric. West coast this and that, Some lagers snuck in. Personally , I stick to the brown ale . Live music plays open a large space occupied , sometimes , by kids and dogs. Very dog friendly. Parking is in a fenced yard south of building. Also if you like to drive past 10 mph, you will miss the "Ruse" symbol on the side of the building.“

“It is undoubtedly one of the best winery bars in Portland, with the best wines, environment, and atmosphere.They make a lot of experimental wines that are very special and delicious. The bar is decorated in the style of a jazz bar, and the music is played on vinyl records. There are drinking spaces on the first and second floors, both of which are very comfortable.It's a pity that they only get a lot of customers coming in to drink when there are events nearby. I hope everyone will come and support us even when there are no activities.“

The beer selection is fun and the bartender was very chill.There’s not much food selection here, but the area does have plenty of places to get something to eat.We went on a Friday which I think is karaoke night! It was fun for the time we were there, but very loud! There was outdoor seating, but it is not heated so dress warm.“

“We received excellent service at both locations we visited. This one was by far the best one we’ve been to out of both of them. Our bartender was amazing and on top of everything. I wish I got his name to give a shout out. He went absolutely above and beyond. We try to visit Vancouver every year, so we will definitely have to make a stop here on our way home. We love Great Notion. We’ve never been disappointed. We always get a few to take home with us. I’m a bit late to make a review of here, but I’m quite literally drinking Blueberry Muffin and it reminded me to do so.“

“Very small nano brewery with a decent selection of beers and a devoted staff. The location could use some charm but it's clean and can hold a ton of people for that big event you want to hold. Small batch brewing means they can experiment and develop new brews. It's the best brewery in central Gresham. Yep.“

“Some of my favorite smashburgers in town! They are popular so expect a line and show the staff some grace if they are short or stressed. They are great people and the food is worth it. Pop into Level for a beer while you wait. “Not sure how I haven't reviewed this place yet. One of our favorite breweries in Portland and they're so close to home! Bartenders are always nice and patient since there's so much to look at. They offer little tastings which is always nice and they talk to you about what you're looking for to better help you decide. The atmosphere is always super chill, not too loud either. You can bring food in which is fun (we recommend MaKin Thai & Sushi down the road). And even when it's packed it's still chill. It's fun to watch the regulars interact with the bartenders (and I think we're becoming regulars too). Oh and the prices are great. They're good people serving good beer!“

“Atmosphere was super chill, service was excellent, and staff was very helpful and attentive. Food was delicious, and they have options for everyone, from regular American food to vegan options and more. I got the vegan burger it was very delicious. My friend got the Green Chili Burger, and she said it was super delicious. The shoestring fries are delicious.“

“I have been coming here for years. Recently I went to pick up cans and there was nothing fresh in the fridge. Only some that were canned back in September thought that was really weird. A lot of guest taps as well, not sure if they're uninspired or don't care enough to make more of their own beers. I was about to come in a buy $60 worth of cans to take home but there aren't any. Owner is really nice though so I'll try again later.“

“Such a great down to earth place to grab a beer (or cider or glass of wine). They have retail for your brewing needs, but I love their open-door policy with other local restaurants on Main Street. You can grab some food next door and come sit to enjoy your meal and grab a beer from one of their 20+ taps. OR you can get something from the coolers poured into a chilled glass. The staff takes the time to get to know you and makes excellent suggestions based on your likes and dislikes. The patio is a great spot to hang in the summer (and has a wind guard and patio heaters in the winter). They do events and live music year-round. The Hoppy crew always makes me feel welcome to relax and enjoy their offerings.“

“Really large brewery, almost a brew hall. Large bar, pizza kitchen, record shop? I watched someone drop $100+ just on records, so must be well curated. Kind of has a punk rock feel, maybe that was just the music playing. It's a really nice place though. A big indoor fireplace, lots of seating inside and out. I had a couple of their pilsners, Dad's beer got a full pour. Read a chapter until last call and on to the next.“

I was really impressed with Bam Pow Burgers, excellent burger and the fries were cooked perfectly nice and crisp with a nice amount of salt. The tap list was nicely balanced with a surprisingly number of fresh hop options. The fresh hop never fresher pale ale along with the fresh hop stay fresh IPA were both excellent. The Eastside pilsner was nice and crisp. Beers to go and beer swag available.Indoor and outdoor seating options. Not too busy on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Fast friendly service. Street parking is the only option. Highly recommend a visit if you love good beer and food. I will be coming back.“

“This is a great local brewery. Our go to neighborhood location. This is a video game theme brewery, pinball games, and has a small outdoor deck in the back and small outdoor patio in the front. This is a dog friendly establishment for well-behaved dogs :) We have brought our dog and kiddo and it has been great. Beer is definitely solid. This used to be an old bank and the taps are inside what used to be a bank vault! Very friendly staff.“

“Good beer. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating. Dogs allowed! Video games?!? What more can you ask for from a brewery?? My husband and I were looking for a spot to take our pups out on a Friday night and stumbled into Level Beer. We've been to the other locations and have loved the vibes, so we're glad to have finally gone to this location. There are multiple food trucks on the outdoor patio to order from if you have the munchies. The beer selection is massive! The hazy we shared was super refreshing. We especially loved the pong arcade game and only wish we had more cash in hand to play more games.“

“My wife and I finally stopped by and it was 10/10 experience! The servers were awesome, super simple to be able to order (right from your table QR code) and someone quickly brings you your food. Worked really efficiently and staff was super nice! The beer was reaaaaaallllyy great, and the food was fantastic! May be the best nachos I've had in Portland, and the Lamb burger was On a side note they have these really cute and fun Jell-O shots Definitely come here!“

“I want to say that I am impressed a friend invited me to this brewery, I was skeptical at first, but I was trilled after I've tasted the beers.We had two sets of samplers with 12 different beers, which I can tell that they have a variety of beers!I really enjoyed my time here.“

“Bar food for delivery? Absolutely! I was craving a good salad and onion rings. After a little searching I found backwoods. Let's just say I wasn't disappointed. I got their Chicken Caesar salad. Fresh and Del. Sounds ordinary but with walnuts and cranberries it was awesome. Their dressing is delicious. The onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. BBQ sauce on the side made it even better.“

“I visited this cool SE brewery with a couple of friends and it was a great little place to stop in and have a brew. I had the red which I really enjoyed as it was kind of dark and toasty for a red which was perfect considering the typical cold and wet Portland day. I definitely want to come back when it's warmer as it looked like they had some great outdoor seating too.“

My partner is gluten free so just the fact that everything at Ground Breaker is GF meant we had to check it out.We had a flight of beer, tried a Papusa, and had chicken strips and fish and chips. The food was top notch, all hot and very fresh. So good! And the beer was fun to try, but just not to my preference. Still fine.The reason for 4 over 5 stars is that I like a little more service. This place is minimal, you need a phone to order... no menus, you scan the QR code. And you gotta go to the bar to order a beer. Bus your own table. Pay on your phone. Get your own fork and napkins, and water. The employees were nice. Just be ready for this kind of do it yourself set up when you go.“

“Cool little warehouse location with his staff that is super friendly and helpful. Street parking is available. There's a fire pit outside which is cool.We came for some food after checking out Hopscotch. I ordered up the chicken sandwich which came with fries. My friend had the BLTA with fries. Both orders came out quickly, and the fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Yum! My chicken sandwich came on a nice soft bun with garlic aïoli, bacon, tomato, onion and was absolutely delicious. Love the high ceilings in the warehouse feel. Lots of space and there's games to play if you like. Keep up the good work we'll be back!“

“This is a nice neighborhood pub.There is ample indoor and outdoor seating. There are two small couch seats near the bar.The staff was friendly and helpful. Bussing was a bit slow.There is a food truck on site if you want more than drinks.There is a friendly resident cat who has the run of the pub including the bar counter top.The pub is also dog friendly.There are gas fire pits to keep warm around at night.There are many alcohol drink and non-alcohol drink options.The pub is cozy and well maintained.“

“Wow! We dined in tonight for the first time and I left stuffed! We order the Brussels and humus platter for starts. SO Delicious! I honestly can't remember the last time I had anything with that much flavor. We both had the cheeseburger and the homemade pickles were to die for! Not to mention the side salad that was HUGE and DELICIOUS oh and don't forget the brioche bun the cheeseburger came on. SO SOFT!!! Buttery!“

“Good rooftop beer bar. Great service, but significantly understaffed for a sunny Friday afternoon. I ordered a turkey sandwich and an Sight of Science IPA. Neither were great, but that's on me. I would have been better off with a Portland salad and a hazy. Fries were good.“

“Did the Haunted Shanghai Tunnel Tour and it was super fun! Natasha was our guide and not only provided great history and storytelling but also humour. We capped off the tour with a sampling of Old Town beer in the basement. Would definitely recommend for a unique PDX experience!“
