“My wife and I had a wonderful dinner. She ordered the chicken strips and I had the steak. Both were properly cooked and appealing. Staff was friendly starting with the greeting as we came in. It was a weekday so it was rather empty and peaceful at the time. Background music was pleasant. We learned about then from their sponsorship of Outlaw Country music radio. Our only suggestion may be adding more decorations to give it a more distinctive character. (She made me add this. :-) ) We look forward to coming back again.“

“We love their Chinese food. We highly recommend to bring your family or someone else, as it is the best restaurant in Boring with large portions and cheaper prices than other ones. We always bring leftovers home and have it the next day for lunch or dinner! They really have friendly servers and you get your food quick. We haven't tried their other food on the menu but will one of these days!
We live in Troutdale but have family that live in Eagle Creek and meet them here! It is worth the drive! Enjoy“

I couldn’t imagine the old menu being even better. I’ve had the peanut Thai and the Korean bbq sandwhiches, killer. Wife got the chicken tenders both times, perfect breading and perfectly cooked tender chicken.“

“Edgefield is a great staycation get away. It is close enough to Portland that you are not driving far, but you feel like you got out of town. I love that you can walk around the entire area and see new things. The Ruby soaking pool is the highlight. The water is delightful and it feels like you are in a tropical hide away. We were there for a girls trip and it was a perfect place to sip wine and relax.“

“We came here on a Sunday in August and it was busy. Plain and simple. There was a concert going on, a movie playing, and the restaurant crew was getting crushed. It seemed like maybe the internet had gone down at some point? Anyway! It took longer than I assume it does to be greeted. But once we were, everything was great. The one thing that was so impressive to me, as someone who manages restaurants, is how calm, collected and straight up jovial the team was. We sat at the bar which looks right into server alley and the line, and everyone was being productive, positive, and kind to each other. Never saw a single person snap or seem put out to be getting crushed. It was super refreshing and much respect to the team. Our server/bartender Will was really nice, efficient, transparent about cook times and kept a good pace. Food was pretty good, standard pub food. I was mostly impressed with the team and their attitude. Vibes were good on a hot, busy day. Would come back just to support that.“

We stopped in on a whim, and we were blown away by how clean, chill and inviting this place is. The owner was the one working and we spent a good amount of time chatting and getting to know the history of the place. He was very friendly.

The beers were ice cold and my vodka soda was poured well. We didn't eat any of the food, but were excited by the idea of ordering the freshly-made deli sandwiches in the future.

The bathrooms were impeccable. Literally one of the cleanest I've ever seen in a bar.

Video poker had a great selection and there was some really fun pinball machines as well.

“We attended McMenamin’s Wassail Cider fest in January so we wanted to try more of their ciders and this is what popped up online. We got the cider flight and the red wine flight, both of which were really good. However, the wine flight they gave us 2 of the 4 glasses, then told us to come back to the back for the other 2, which was a bit weird and honestly I wasn’t a fan of. The service was also pretty lackluster, it was walk up service, which seems to be pretty common in the PNW so we’ve grown accustomed to it, but when its walk up service, I expect a little more when I do come to the bar to order. There were two employees, a blonde woman that I’d guess was in her 20s and a middle aged gentleman. The woman was very nice and enthusiastic and seemed eager to help, but the man seemed like he was doing everything he could to avoid serving guests; when I returned to the bar for the second half of our wine flight, he noticed me, but proceeded to drink water, pace around, look in the storage closet, take a step towards me, turn around, take his sweatshirt off, look around again, then finally came up. As a bartender myself, it seemed like all the things that someone does when they don’t want to help a guest, so they try to waste as much time as possible until another co-worker comes to help them. The vibe was pretty cool being in the basement with glass windows all around so you could see the wine barrels, but it was a bit too dark in my opinion, which made it seem kind of dingy being in the basement. I also wasn’t a fan that when you walk in, there are no signs or menus, just brochures advertising other McMenamin’s properties, and the bar is very small with standing room only and very crowded. It reminded me of a busy college bar where I had to fight through to order drinks, but in this case I had to do that just to see a menu, let alone order a drink; not exactly the experience I want from a tasting room. Overall though, it was still unique experience and I’m sure it would be really cool to stay on property, but I don’t think I’d go back.“

“Gorgeous grounds that you can spend hours walking. This property was formerly a work farm for the local poor. It has been repurposed as a vineyard, hotel, spa, restaurant, bar, golf course and more! There are many events held here but it is absolutely worth a visit even if you don't plan to stay the night. Check out the wine cellar or espresso bar for some great local options, or head inside to the gift shop for some kitschy finds.“

“Yazzie's is one of the few places that's still around that's been there a long time . It's Nestle back behind camping world and an Arco gas station. It's not a place that you would expect to find elderly people at. You would find people between the ages of 21 to 65 in there. They have karaoke play music trivia before they began with the karaoke the other night. The bartender she just all over the place come on she's very good at what she does. I'd ordered yazzie's A1 cheeseburger and fries. Prices are not any different than what you find anywhere else . The food was fresh, fries are a telltale sign as to the condition of the fryer oil. The fries had a good taste to them. People in there are very friendly (I'm referring to the customers).“

The rooms are unique. No phone or TV but really that not why you come here. The artwork is very Oregon. If you are really lucky there is live concerts and music on weekends. “I’ve been going to this Chinese restaurant in downtown Washougal for years and finally realized I should leave them a review. I grew up in New York, and Chinese food has always been one of my favorite cuisines, so I’m pretty picky when it comes to finding a good spot.

This is honestly the best Chinese food I’ve found in Clark County. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistent, and the staff is so darn nice every time I come in. It just feels like a great local place that actually cares about its customers.

My favorite thing to order is the salt and pepper squid. It’s crispy, full of flavor, and always hits the spot. If you’re looking for great Chinese food in Washougal or the Camas area, this place is absolutely worth checking out.“

I had wings, which were listed as an app: the full order was a big meal size at a very reasonable price with more carrots and celery than I have ever been served. Got Korean (gochujang but not very spicy) and Teriyaki which were both delicious. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful. Good times.“

“Now listen, ignore those last couple negative reviews. I have been a technician working out here in Gresham for a long time and I usually stop in this Joy Teriyaki for a bite whenever I am on a job nearby. I dont normally get involved in these online things but I saw some reviews that just do not make any sense.

I see a couple peeps talking about boycotting this place and saying they do not respect law enforcement. I think you folks have the wrong location entirely. There are several Joy Teriyakis around and they are all franchises (different owners). Even the top photo on this page posted by a customer is a completely different location!
Just last month I was in here and saw the cashier and our folks in red and blue having a perfectly normal and respectfull interaction. No issues at all. Plus there has been a army recruiting office just a couple doors down for over a decade now and I never see any of those guys complaining here!
It is a real shame to see a local business get a bad reputation just because someone likely clicked the wrong spot on there map. You folks posting that hate clearly ment to put it on a different shop.
