“This is my favorite restaurant in the entire universe. I have been coming here with my family for years and have spent almost all my birthday dinners here. They serve THE BEST food you’ve ever had. Once you’ve eaten at China Gourmet you can never eat at another Chinese restaurant again because nothing will ever compare to how amazing their food is! The owners are so kind and funny and welcoming. Being in their presence is half the experience. I’m so grateful for this restaurant and the owners-Jade is the best! “We had dinner here last night with a group of 10 people. The line to get through and build my bowl was extremely long when we first arrived, but it seemed to slow down quite a bit after the initial rush.
The service was good, and the staff kept things moving as best they could.
As for the food, I found it a bit bland. My recommendation to first-time customers would be to add a lot more sauce than you think you need, because a good portion of it seems to cook off on the flat top. The ingredients were fresh and the concept is fun, but I'd be much heavier-handed with the sauces next time.
Overall, a good experience with a large group, and I'd be willing to come back.“

“Went here about an hour before they closed and the employees were friendly even though we interrupted their meal. We ordered general tso’s chicken, lemon chicken, and Mongolian beef, and the food exceeded our expectations. The portions were huge, especially the crab rangoons, they were delicious. The atmosphere was quiet and calm and the fish tank was cute to look at while we waited. On top of that we only waited about 10 minutes for our food to finish up, so overall a great experience.“

“$42 for my husband and I to both eat and have sodas. ALL of the choices were hot and fresh and being checked and replaced often. We stopped in around 330pm & it wasn't too busy but there were enough people to see that it was a great time to stop (ie: quick seating, fresh food, not a whole lot of noise or kids). “How many of you guys got the king pow after 8pm ?. It was the hottest I have ever had. Really hot hot sauce is not even that hot. They put way way too much in that batch they made. It reminded me of the 1 chip challenge. I'm sure they got some complaints about it“

We dined at lunch time. It was $15.99. With a $0.99 cent charge for each hot tea.
What I loved was the amount of people who were there dining at the same time and how everyone was different.
Just hitting the buffet with no problems.
