“I came to pick up some food for my ailing wife. I was paying and I left a tip, but before he would hand me my food, he rudely asked, “DID YOU LEAVE A TIP?” And wouldn’t let go of the sack until I gave an answer. He didn’t even bother to look at the receipt that I had just signed to see that I did leave a tip. I find this very rude behavior…we always leave generous tips when we go inside to sit down and dine… But to ask is very rude behavior.. I did leave 15% for takeout as well but since he asked, I really wish I would not have. Perhaps someone could school him and tell him this is not good customer service.“

I had the Kung pow chicken and they had fried shrimp and sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. Food came to our table at lightening speed and it was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend !“

“As a Vietnamese Chinese person… my Husband brought me here the first time and all I have to say is… it was wonderful and I love Thai food but this restaurant is Legit Thai cuisine and it feels like comfort home food that my parents would cook and I mean this restaurant is legitimately a mom and pop family restaurant. I look forward to coming back again with my husband and try their other foods especially their duck fried rice next time! I love to support small family owned restaurants especially when it comes to mom and pop families that runs it and the little boy was so cute I hope he gets to learn more of cooking and helping out with family members! “we had A waitress named Shana I believe. and she was terrible. she never asked if we needed refills on our drinks. she never stepped by and asked how our appetizer was it took us an hour to get our food. and when our appetizer came out 20 minutes later it was the blooming onion. it was cold and it was soggy. we're not even from here, but I have never encountered such a terrible customer service experience. not only that there were four whole tables in the entire restaurant... so there is no excuse for being slow and rude.“

“Not many Teriyaki places down south, so I tried this one out. It was good! Good portions. It’s not so authentic, it’s more “Mexican-ized”, but I don’t mind. The spicy chicken is far better than the regular chicken. I enjoyed it & I will definitely be back!“

“Disclaimer, I didn't eat the food myself as I'm plant based. Dennis and Auntie makes it homey. When I look at the pictures and food, it feels authentic and rich, yummies families eat. Portions are great. Definitely smells tempting while I'm enroute to deliver these. Ordered BBQ pork skewers for my Greek friend and he can't stop raving about it. He asked me to get more for him on his birthday. Got the pork adobo for another friend. OMG! Delicious! He's a born and raised Louisiana chef so quite judgy when it comes to food. “Incredible food! I was absolutely blown away by how delicious and nourishing my soup was. I had Duk Mandu Guk, a delicious soup with rice cakes and dumplings in a savory broth. My mother-in-law had a yummy bulgogi bento box! I asked if they had dessert but they didn't unfortunately. And then one of the servers came over and brought me two little watermelon slices and made my day. 💖 Also the bathroom was incredibly clean and honestly really well decorated. The restaurant has lovely plants and decorations throughout, even the bathroom! Such a lovely place. I can now see why my Korean grandma-in-law loves this place!! And I had plenty of leftovers to take home too!!“

“Fabulous evening with friends before Christmas. The decorations are warm and welcoming along with having the talented pianist at the grand piano. I had the most delicious seafood pasta ever. Large prawns and sweet scallops with homemade pasta was scrumptious. My husband had lobster tail on beet risotto. A little skeptical we all had a taste and it was delicious, too. We appreciate Mo’s graciousness and celebrate his almost 35 years in Salem. Our server Stevie, was efficient, friendly and took great care of us. Best restaurant in Salem.“

“After an incredibly fun and enjoyable tasting with Sarah, I purchased all of the wine for my wedding from Honeywood Winery. The wine tasted incredible and it was hard to decide on just three. In addition, Honeywood created custom wine labels for all of the wine bottles that matched the theme of the wedding. Honeywood went absolutely above and beyond to make our experience so unique and special. We got so many compliments on how cute and unique the bottles were and we have kept one to open on our one-year anniversary. This winery is clearly passionate about making great wine and providing an incredible experience. Thank you so much Sarah and Leslie!!! Y'all are incredible!!“

“A LOT of their menu can be made vegan with tofu as the option. Make sure to ask them to not use their tempura batter on the tofu as it's not vegan. The appetizers are not vegan except for the lettuce rolls if you get it with tofu, but the veggies are fresh and this is a mainstay when I'm in Salem. I go here at least once a week when Im in the area.“

Get home and the food is consistently good quality. Not over-salted or drenched in sauces. Everything is fresh and tasty.

“We were in Salem for a concert at the Elsinore Theatre on Friday, November 1st, and were lucky enough to find the Wild Pear, to get something to eat before concert. I wanted to try everything on the menu, it sounded so good! I ordered the Butternut soup & Pear salad. Both were fabulous, & I can't wait to drive back to Salem to check out other items on the menu. We had awesome service and were greeted & shown to a table right away. You will not be disappointed! I will definitely be back, & wish you were closer to Vancouver, WA!!“

“This place is a must visit! Upon arrival, our host Brandon greeted us with umbrellas to escort us to the tasting room which is absolutely darling! He started up a fire for us and brought us all hot towels infused with calming essential oils. Brandon was very knowledgeable about the land and all of the wines. The wines were phenomenal, we walked away with a few bottles. I am so happy that we were able to visit them. Do yourself a favor and book this place!“
