“I came to pick up some food for my ailing wife. I was paying and I left a tip, but before he would hand me my food, he rudely asked, “DID YOU LEAVE A TIP?” And wouldn’t let go of the sack until I gave an answer. He didn’t even bother to look at the receipt that I had just signed to see that I did leave a tip. I find this very rude behavior…we always leave generous tips when we go inside to sit down and dine… But to ask is very rude behavior.. I did leave 15% for takeout as well but since he asked, I really wish I would not have. Perhaps someone could school him and tell him this is not good customer service.“

I had the Kung pow chicken and they had fried shrimp and sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. Food came to our table at lightening speed and it was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend !“

“As a Vietnamese Chinese person… my Husband brought me here the first time and all I have to say is… it was wonderful and I love Thai food but this restaurant is Legit Thai cuisine and it feels like comfort home food that my parents would cook and I mean this restaurant is legitimately a mom and pop family restaurant. I look forward to coming back again with my husband and try their other foods especially their duck fried rice next time! I love to support small family owned restaurants especially when it comes to mom and pop families that runs it and the little boy was so cute I hope he gets to learn more of cooking and helping out with family members! “we had A waitress named Shana I believe. and she was terrible. she never asked if we needed refills on our drinks. she never stepped by and asked how our appetizer was it took us an hour to get our food. and when our appetizer came out 20 minutes later it was the blooming onion. it was cold and it was soggy. we're not even from here, but I have never encountered such a terrible customer service experience. not only that there were four whole tables in the entire restaurant... so there is no excuse for being slow and rude.“

“This was our first time ever coming to this place we wanted to go to In-N-Out Burger but the line was so crazy that we decided to go somewhere else and we had just saw the business on the corner and we're like let's try this place because we love Chinese food we go in and you go up to the counter and we're looking and we order our combos and go sit down the food is good the chicken was just a little too hard cuz I got the teriyaki chicken and general tso's chicken the gozo's were really good I really enjoyed we took home our leftovers to our other child at home and he loved it so now we know he likes another Chinese place other than Panda Express now we were a little surprised about the fried rice it's not your typical fried rice that you would normally get at Chinese restaurants but my husband did eat his it was just a breaded chicken was a little hard for us to eat but overall it was really good flavor and the places is beautiful. It is a little spendy but the portions are all right“

“Disclaimer, I didn't eat the food myself as I'm plant based. Dennis and Auntie makes it homey. When I look at the pictures and food, it feels authentic and rich, yummies families eat. Portions are great. Definitely smells tempting while I'm enroute to deliver these. Ordered BBQ pork skewers for my Greek friend and he can't stop raving about it. He asked me to get more for him on his birthday. Got the pork adobo for another friend. OMG! Delicious! He's a born and raised Louisiana chef so quite judgy when it comes to food. Definitely, ordering some dishes for my visiting family!“

“I didn’t think I’d find good Korean food in Salem - I was raised in San Diego & lived in Portland for a few years so I’m a lil food snob - but seriously y’all, this place is a gem. I’m used to having to pay over $100 for good Korean food, and extra for banchan - this place hooked it up! They refilled our banchans not just once but THRICE! And they were genuinely sweet the whole time. The food was fantastic - authentic and felt homemade. The portions were great, taste was great - overall a wonderful experience, and I am looking forward to bringing folks here!
Also - they do a lot of community/philanthropic work. You can taste/see it in their food - it looks like they’re here to actually give good food, not just make money. I’m super happy to have found this place!“

The reason for the 4 stars in regards to food is due to them using white mushrooms instead of mushrooms such as Shitake or Oyster mushrooms. They also throw in celery in the vegetable mix which I see as an expensive filler and only needed in specific dishes.“

The prime rib was lukewarm. The horseradish sauce was off- I can’t tell why but it had a peculiar flavor that should not have been there. Seasoning of the prime rib was on point and so was the zip sauce. I wasn’t feeling up to potential confrontation so when they asked how the food was I just said good. With prime rib it’s hard because if they warmed it then it might not have come back medium rare…also there was no steak knife but again I didn’t ask“
