Looks like a real good place to hang out if you like shooting pool! Lots of tables and from what I’m seeing, quite a few sharks’s teeth (trophies) around the place! Definitely my kinda place!
Just stopped in tonight for a couple burgers but really felt like staying and having a few drinks with the friendly patrons who were having a great time there. Looks like there is live music available as well!

“We were at Humble Spirit last night and were blown away by our meal . We started with the meatballs and veggie platter, we had the pasta, chicken and the daily special of duck. Every one of the meals was absolutely divine !! The pasta is by far one of the best pasta dishes I have ever eaten. I highly recommend you try Humble Spirit !“

“We met our Son from out of town for lunch. I had a gift card and we've been wanting to go there. Everyone was so friendly it felt like it wasn't our first time being there. The service was excellent and the food was so good and the portions were ample. We will definitely be dining there again.

“We had the most wonderful experience celebrating my husband's birthday at Joel Palmer House. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. I was given a beautiful 5-course vegetarian menu, and to my surprise, the kitchen even created non-vegetarian variations of the same dishes for my husband so we could share the experience together. The thoughtful touch of incorporating truffle into his main course, just as I had requested, was very special. We also appreciated the window seat, the birthday candle on the dessert, and the “Happy Birthday” plate — all of these little details made the evening so memorable. What impressed us most was how carefully the team listened to everything we had asked and brought it to life in such a thoughtful way. “A Must-Visit Lunch Spot in McMinnville! Every time I visit McMinnville, this restaurant is at the top of my list—and once again, it did not disappoint! In fact, my friend and I loved it so much that we had lunch here twice during our trip. The corn chowder was absolutely fantastic—so creamy with just the right amount of seasoning. My friend enjoyed the ½ Turkey Sandwich, while I devoured the Chicken Cashew Salad, which was fresh and delicious. The broccoli cheddar soup was just okay, but the tomato vegetable soup was a standout, according to my friend. “A cute coffee shop with lots of options. Me and my friends got a cinnamon roll, berry roll, smoothies, and bagels with cream cheese. All delicious! The smoothies were made with real fruit, not syrups. I got blueberry and it was delicious! Great atmosphere. Comfy couches in the back.“

“My partner and I had a wonderful evening after the local vineyards all afternoon. Walked in with no reservations but got a nice intimate table in the bar side. The drink menu was hand made and menu was on a chalkboard. This is my kind of place. The atmosphere was lovely and had the perfect Oregon welcoming vibe. All the employees made you feel welcomed and knew exactly what they were doing. I had the Strip Loin steak dish and I can confidently say this was one of the best steaks I have ever had at a restaurant. I asked for medium and it was cooked perfectly. I wanna genuinely say thank you Thistle for a highlight of my weekend getaway trip for my partner and I. We will definitely be back. 🥩🔥❤️“

“What a stunning location! Although we experienced a delay with our food due to a WiFi glitch that prevented orders from reaching the kitchen, the staff handled it with impressive care and urgency. They quickly sorted everything out, allowed guests to switch to lunch options, and generously comped all our meals—plus treated us to delicious lemon pies. “This place is okay. The food is nothing fancy at all. Mediocre at best. But they're usually busy and it's nice to see a small business busy. I always feel bad for the staff. They constantly seem short staffed. It definitely limits the amount we order. We usually do one and done since they're always so overwhelmed. I could do without the political stuff too. But we like the pretzel and the soup and salads are good.“

“It was so fun to go back in the Pirate’s Den. Thanks to all those who are keeping that small-town staple going. I got the breakfast burrito and cinnamon roll. I liked the large amount of cheese on the burrito. I wish it would have come with some salsa because the potatoes were a little dry by 9:30 am. The cinnamon roll icing and filling were great and I liked the to-go style packaging.“

“Berts chuckwagon is some of the better barbecue we have around here. Trouble is in the northwest we just don’t have a lot of barbecue. I feel like the sides are what really shine. His ribs are good. They do it smoked style but they are pretty tough and dry and that’s what happens when you smoke ribs. Mine are like 10 times better in the oven and so juicy they fall off the bone. He’s a nice guy and the prices are moderate for what they offer portions are pretty generous. I’ve eaten here multiple times when I didn’t feel like cooking. Will probably come back again. But I do prefer to make my own barbecue over berts.“

“Went in as out of towners for a girls trip. We went initially to go to the roof top bar but it was already closed so we enjoyed a cocktail at the main bar. Rachel was our bartender and she was excellent. She took time to make this delicious cucumber margarita cocktail for my friend that had a lot of components and you could certainly taste the love! I would definitely recommend that drink and made by Rachel. Don’t complain about the time it takes to make it because it’s worth it and she is a true mixologist! Thank you Rachel!“

“We rolled in the dead of night (9PM), with nothing but but 40 dollars and a dream, and IHOP did not disappoint. Luis, our server, was attentive to our every need, made sure we were taken care of, and our ice never touched the bottom of our glass. 10/10, would pancake again.“
