“Just moved into the area, was stoked to see Harder Days coffee open up; and imagine my surprise when I saw these taco truck and smoothie truck next door.

Enjoying a draft beer or cortado or kombucha while listening to the dulcet tones of Sandy Blvd while you eat your tacos is certainly a bonus, but this review is about the main course.

I ordered a pastor taco and an asada taco. Total came out to $2.50 which is solid these days.

The pastor meat was a tad on the chewy side but not bad at all. Great flavor. Carne asada had a nice chew and char. The tortillas were cooked perfectly and gave a nice texture to the whole thing. Salsa roja was my favorite kind, maybe some type of chile de arbol or something else roasted to give it a nice opaque dark red.

“Excellent mexican food. Got #9 Birria plate and a #10 QuesaBirria Taco (3) plate. Lots of food provided in each of the plates! The Birria plate had at least 1/2-3/4 pounds of chuck roast, along with servings of mexican rice and pinto beans, radish slices, lime wedges and 4 good sized flour tortillas. The QuesaBirria Tacos were comprised of 3 regular sized tacos with a large pint of birria consome and radish slices and lime wedges. The taco tortillas had been dunked in birria sauce properly. The birria meat and t
was tender, the consome flavorful and nothing overly salty. Food definitely scratch made and not processed or frozen premade. Food staid hot for the 20 minutes it took for me to get to a spot where I could get a cold one to drink with it. Then, I was too hungry to take photos of the food before digging in. Definitely a very good spot for Mexican food, especially birria.“

“Weird place - a convenience store with a kitchen so the atmosphere is very unusual. That said, friendly service, smells delicious, generous seating area out front went etc.

They don't seem to offer any real menus inside that I saw, instead just a simple sign listing all their different proteins. I ordered tacos, one birria and one green chili pork, only be told that I had to buy the green chili pork two at a time. Sort of bizarre but I switched to carnitas.

I paid a buck extra for the homemade tortillas, so both tacos were pretty large.

They offered three different salsas, a red, and orange and green. They weren't really hot to mild like I expected. Instead all three were medium spice, but very interesting unique flavor. I have to think they make them here.

Overall, absolutely delicious, and I will be here again each time I have to bring my wife to a doctor's appointment at Providence just down the street. With a hurt ankle she can't drive, so her loss is my gain!“

“I like Taco Bell drive thru and inside. I used to have lunch in my car in the parking lot nearby. Great to go on crisp meat burritos special. Their tacos are real good also. Have never had a wrong or unsatisfying order.

“Asked for a chorizo burrito to replenish energy.
Got a hash brown burrito with chorizo instead.
Burrito is decent, big, very big, but simple, lots of hash brown inside, cheese and chorizo.
I was planning to give a mid review but the salsas made up for the mid burrito, salsa is where it's at.
Make sure to take some on your way out.
Got to try more things from them I guess before I make my mind but it's not a bad place to refuel“

“This place is crazy good. The al pastor and chorizo tacos are the best I’ve maybe ever had?? And the cactus veggie taco is so yummy. They use delicious homemade corn tortillas, and have a whole tucked away back patio for eating outside. My favorite spot to hit after a Forest Park hike!“

“First time visit last night with six of us and they are very nicely opened up the toast restaurant and let us sit in there and we had such a nice evening and the waiter was so friendly and wonderful and really helped us out to get acquainted with the offerings we tried the vegetarian potstickers and also the various vegetarian tacos which were really good. Later we each had a vegetarian Ramen and every single one was delicious and I especially liked the one with the tofu and the hard-boiled egg and the spinach. They brought a small container of warm sake for me which I really liked with a tiny cup I got to choose. OverallI gave it a big 10+ and I would definitely eat there again and probably will go back pretty soon. The main thing is to try to find a time when the parking is not completely full in the area be prepared to park a ways away and walk which is good for us so it really wasn’t a problem.“
