“Every Memorial Day and/or Thanksgiving, I make a trip out to visit Westrey's warehouse in McMinnville. Dave and Amy are such great hosts who make amazing wine! I always have to buy pinot from Justice, Oracle, and Abbey Ridge because I can never decide on a favorite because they are so elegant and interesting in their own way.If you want to support a small family winery, this is it! Don't miss it on your trip to McMinnville!“
“We had a really great experience here on our first visit to McMinnville! The wine itself is amazing, we did both flights on our first visit then 2 red reserves on our next.. Suzanne went way above and beyond with us! She was super personably, knowledgeable and helpful. We had tons of questions and she had tons of answers. At one point I mentioned I had a mixed drink at a restaurant that I loved and she immediately text the bartender and got the recipe for me. She gave us a whole written out card of things to do in Astoria and winery’s to hit at our next location. She also gave us an extra tasting of their ports (which are amazing as well!) and made a really lovely charcuterie board, the best offering at any place we went really. We plan to go back to McMinnville next year and R Stuart will be one of our first stops!“
“Had a wonderful wine tasting today with Miriam. She was kind and knowledgeable! She taught us so much about the area and the Brittan family and the owner is on their 51st harvest! We loved the wine. It’s the first Chardonnay I’ve ever liked. They’re in a busy season so we got to see a bit of their process and learn more about how the wine is made. We will absolutely come back.“
“A beautiful spot to enjoy a glass of wine & fresh creative food delicacy. A true special occasion destination.“
“Just amazing 🤩
Incredible building!
Great story about the family, conservation, renewable resources. Beautiful property.
The best charcuterie board I've ever. 😋
Maybe a bit pricey but it is a different take on wines😉“
“Wines that are a good mix of displaying typical Oregon pinot fruit, but with enough restraint to let the complexity shine through.“
“We stopped in here on a rainy day without a reservation and had a lovely time! We were the only group in the tasting room at first so we had a lovely one-on-one experience with the staff member (who of course we did not exchange names with!) She guided us through a tasting of a wide range of delicious wines and even provided us with some pinot noir grapes that were recently picked off the vine. The tasting room was a very cozy space. She was super knowledgeable about the winery and the region and provided us with recommendations for the rest of our trip. (Sorry we didn't catch your name! We were there on 9/29!)“
“We received another case of your fabulous wines today. Megan gave us attentive service from start to finish.“
“We’re so glad we stopped in to Jacob Williams Winery in downtown McMinnville! We made a reservation for tasting before dinner, and they were very helpful in accommodating when we needed to push back our reservation time day-of. We didn’t realize the winery was based in Washington, but we really enjoyed the change of pace from all the Pinots we had in the area and loved trying many different varietals. Shantel was so nice and knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. She very sweetly surprised us with a gift upon learning we were on our honeymoon trip. We now can’t wait to enjoy what we brought home and plan a visit to wineries in Washington!“
“I love Rob's exceptional wines! As the Beverage Director at Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida I literally have access to just about any wine there is in the world, not just the Willamette Valley. While I haven't had a R.Stuart wine I did not enjoy, the single vineyard Daffodil Hill Pinot Noir is a stand out for me every year. I highly recommend stopping by Rob's tasting room when visiting Mcminnville. You will not be disappointed!“
“We are so fortunate to have The Eyrie Vineyards in Oregon. If you visit, please learn the history of this vineyard so you will understand why Oregon is able to maintain its beauty and bounty.“
“Lovely spot to sit outside and enjoy a liquor tasting flight with some charcuterie. I love their emerald whiskey and was very excited to taste their 22 year brandy.
They serve NA liquor flights and mocktails as well.
Everyone working there was very nice and willing to walk me through tasting notes when I asked.“
“My Dad is a Vietnam Vet. He always said…(You don’t have to be perfect at life just work hard at being your best!! And just like Horseshoes and Hand Grenades… you still hit the target.)Thank you for keeping this memory alive!! Great Wine ???“
“Retour Winery is an absolute gem in downtown McMinnville. The tasting room is stunning—elegant, warm, and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy some truly incredible wines. Lindsay Woodard’s passion and expertise shine through in every bottle. It’s clear that Retour is built on a love for craftsmanship and quality, honoring her family’s deep roots in the Willamette Valley. Whether you’re a seasoned wine lover or just beginning to explore, Retour is a must-visit.“
“I live in the San Francisco area Bay Area and wanted to spend my 65th birthday celebration in the Willamette Valley.
An amazing decision, furtherly THE BEST DECISION when having picked Youngberg Hill Inn & Winery as our home base.
Because we were there at low season, we got many chances to interact with owner Nicoletta, a most wonderful and captivating hostess.
Everything in our stay at Youngberg Hill Inn & Winery was A+++! And their wine tasting too, WOW!
My 65th birthday celebration was the best it could have been.
Thanks, Nicoletta. We can’t to come back again!“

“Pike Road is an amazing tasting room on 3rd Street in McMinnville! If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor and go. My friends are wine club members there and I’m so grateful. Each time we go, Dane, Mike, and anyone else working that day, are friendly, fun, informative, inquisitive, and caring. They pass on their knowledge and love for wine just by having simple, easygoing conversations with their guests. Thank you, Pike Road! See you again soon, I hope! 🥰💜🍷🍇“
