“Went for brunch with a group of 8 people on a Sunday. We were very well taken care of the whole time by Whisper, who seemed to magically know exactly when we needed something and makes one helluva cocktail!
Food was delicious with large portions.
The atmosphere is a bit conservative but not "in your face" right wing, more rural small town with newer country/folk music playing.“

“We came in about an hour before close, they welcomed us in and let us pick our seats. We were attended to promptly and got our orders in. The chef came out to ask if I was aware of what I was ordering (beef pho with only tripe, since I love tripe and my kids also love it and always steal most of it from me). I kindly let him know we did know and appreciated him making sure we knew what we were ordering. They seemed quite delighted that my young children (7 and 10) were enjoying the tripe so much. Towards the end, my daughter tried a piece of jalapeño that I had added and had been sitting in the soup and had been diluted. She decided that it was not spicy and brazenly attempted to eat a slice of raw jalapeño that came with the pho as well and immediately regretted it. She was in tears and the server was so nice and offered her candies to help with the spice. When she noticed it wasn't helping while I was trying to pay, she got the chef and he came back and gave my daughter milk that helped a bunch. They did not even charge extra, though I did offer. As we were leaving, my daughter gratefully looked up at me and said "mama, they're so kind" with her teary eyes and a smile. We will 100% be back. Super tasty food at a good price but most importantly, such lovely staff members. I am beyond grateful to them for our experience tonight.“

“My partner and I are vegan and we let the owner of this food cart know this, and he completed curated our experience. Their food is incredible, big servings, and the owner suggested multiple sides to add to our meal. I love mango lassi but it’s not vegan, and owner found a way to make it vegan for me. 10/10, incredible staff and very vegan friendly. Worth the drive out of PDX!“

“Very calming. Good location. Mango lassi is the best I’ve had! I had the paneer mutter mushroom ( very creamy a little sweet and great flavor!) and the cheese masala dosa (it’s a filled crepe and comes with dipping sauces) with some garlic naan bread baked here. Everything tastes fresh and very lovely people. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options!“

“Had a wonderful Veterans meal at thr Tanasborne location. Casey was our server. She was very professional and friendly,. Everything was prepaired just as requested, and she stopped by to ask if everything was OK 3 or 4 times. The best Veterans meal I have ever had. Will be returning again many times before next year. “I remember going to their original location down on Main St. right next to/connecting to the Half Moon. I moved here in 2008 and have known them for 14 years now. From the very first time, they all treated me with respect and kindness, very genuine and humble... GREAT PEOPLE!! It used to be you could dine in at both places. The atmosphere was wonderful until covid hit. Now it's only take out. The food is superior, and everyone still remembers my name... love them! Continued success!!“

“Love this brewery! Staff are friendly, the beer is absolutely top notch, place is small but cozy and inviting! Generally have some excellent shanties playing and a dart board in the corner...taste of Irish, anyone?! Brewer does a phenomenal scotch ale, and the Meanderin' Mandarin Pale Ale is delicious. “Really good food, very friendly staff, and really good managers, I definitely recommend Stanford’s in Tanasbourne , everyone needs to come in and try it if you haven’t yet, I recommend the fried calamari and the chimichurri steak tips, they are really really good, save space for dessert and try the chocolate mousse, and make sure to try out the drinks the way is made is all fresh made juices, so if you are in the area make sure to stop by at Stanford’s in Tanasbourne, you will not be disappointed.“

When the woman who helped us noticed that my spouse and I didn’t ask for meat in any of our dishes, she was incredibly friendly about letting us know we were welcome to order anything on the menu vegetarian if we wanted, and that she could easily swap the meat out for beans and/or avocado, depending on the dish. “I have been a regular there for years and for good reason they are the best cafe and pies in Oregon and I will not go anywhere else I love it and the family style atmosphere is great and the people are all local to the area as well as others from other places in Oregon but they don't change too much for the generous amount of food“

“We went for the Wassail Cider Fest for the first time and it was energetic! The band performance was something I'd never seen before and hosting it in their barn really added to the experience. They had a great cider selection from a very wide variety of vendors. It was very crowded and difficult to move around at times due to the high volume of traffic. The parking lot was full so we parked nearby at the Fred Meyer and walked which was to be expected. We got food from their restaurant after and besides a slightly burnt pattie on one of our burgers, they do a good job. And service is always great. Overall we had a great time! Spending per person includes our event tickets which was $48 per person.“

Out of the gate, the food and atmosphere made this place our goto family night out location… and they are super accommodating… we brought the family in shortly after one of our kids came back from oral surgery, and he was still having trouble opening his mouth wide enough for a whole piece of sushi, and the chef cut everything bite size for them!! ❤️
