“A funny near not funny thing happened in Starbucks parking lot at this location. I parked my car in the lot across and over a bit from Starbucks. My husband and I got out of the car and started walking towards the door and after a few steps we both took a bit of a dive downwards as the slope was steep and was not obvious. It would have been bad if we didn’t catch ourselves because we could have done a face plant right into the asphalt! OUCH! But maybe someone else might not have been so lucky and might have completed a face plant. Why they didn’t even out the grading is a mystery to me! It’s an accident waiting to happen. BTW, our drinks were fine.“

“This is an excellent little spot for a coffee. The baristas are passionate about specialty coffee and matcha. Not only did they make me a phenomenal flat white, but we also had a great chat about a pour over brewer I was interested in trying at home.“

It will make you feel things your partner never could. Also have you ever been disappointed when you went to Taco Bell and the Crunchwrap was smaller than you wanted, well not here, it’s massive and way more flavorful than Taco Bell could ever hope to be. “The matcha tonic with pandan and lime was incredible. The bowl was extremely umami with the fish sauce gravy and mushrooms and very fresh. I also tried the pandan waffle and it’s among the best waffles I’ve had. They use rice flour dough in the batter so it’s very chewy, like mochi.

Would recommend dining in because the textures won’t hold up as well for takeout and you won’t have the same experience. Staff is super friendly and welcoming.“

“This was the best cup of coffee that we have ever had! The heart barista’s are amazing- super down to earth and know exactly what they’re doing when it comes to making a well crafted latte or cup of coffee. We each got a latte and a drip coffee and both were amazing!

I've known this place was here for years, but never stopped in. I don't know why, honestly.

My sister told me this place has an espresso milkshake that is fantastic, so we went!!

“Best coffee shop in town. My parents have been coming here since 1993 and I have fond childhood memories here. I started coming daily in 2018 and I'm here almost every single day. As far as the coffee goes, sometimes the line is long and sometimes drinks don't come out super fast, but the coffee *I* think is the best in the city. They use a Seattle brand, Cafe D'Arte, which I'm sure plays a role in that. Ian, the manager, is just a fantastic human being, as are all the staff at the shop. I've come to be friends with them, and hung out with most of them outside of work at this point. The people who go here are just as nice and I've made friends with a lot of regulars over the years too. I often run into my neighbors here. The shop itself is one of the few I've seen these days that's kept its bohemianesque early-2000s aesthetic and I find it incredibly cozy and homey. If they remodeled to be chic and white I'd be devastated at this point. By far one of my favorite places to be. Great place to get work done, too, with wifi and plugs and great music.“
