“A funny near not funny thing happened in Starbucks parking lot at this location. I parked my car in the lot across and over a bit from Starbucks. My husband and I got out of the car and started walking towards the door and after a few steps we both took a bit of a dive downwards as the slope was steep and was not obvious. It would have been bad if we didn’t catch ourselves because we could have done a face plant right into the asphalt! OUCH! But maybe someone else might not have been so lucky and might have completed a face plant. Why they didn’t even out the grading is a mystery to me! It’s an accident waiting to happen. BTW, our drinks were fine.“

“This is an excellent little spot for a coffee. The baristas are passionate about specialty coffee and matcha. Not only did they make me a phenomenal flat white, but we also had a great chat about a pour over brewer I was interested in trying at home.“

“Awesome addition to the Portland coffee scene. Hit up about 5 coffee shops on a trip and sterling was up there along with Sisters. Worker was incredibly helpful and friendly, noticed we were visiting and recommended other coffee shops too. Real inviting space and Kens is just up the street which makes for a killer combo. Before leaving decided to get some beans and worker comp'd me some house beans, such a kind gesture!“

It will make you feel things your partner never could. Also have you ever been disappointed when you went to Taco Bell and the Crunchwrap was smaller than you wanted, well not here, it’s massive and way more flavorful than Taco Bell could ever hope to be. “I used to work near this café, so I was a frequent visitor for years. Since leaving that previous job, I hadn't been by in years, but I had an opportunity to stop in today. They're still incredible, the Morrocan biscuit is still delicious and satisfying and their Morrocan Pistachio latte blows Starbucks boring one out of the water. Always worth a stop in if you find yourself nearby!“

“Really nice cute little coffee shop, we had a cortado (good, nothing super special), a cardamom bun (the pastries come from the poppy shop), it was pretty yummy, I would order it again, and a small iced matcha latte. The matcha wasn’t well mixed, the powder collected at the bottom. That wasn’t so nice.

It’s located at a park by the waterfront which was beautiful for a stroll. They also give you glass jars for $1 deposit for to go, instead of throwaway cups. Also had some cute little tables outside in the sun, and a small window table inside.“

“Pretty solid coffee with lots of fancy flavor options to choose from as well. I did not get to try the banh mi as I came in at 7 AM and was very likely the first person in.

I did try the donuts and while they weren’t terrible, They weren’t exactly what I expected when I see the word donut. They were dense and smooth and cool temp wise, lol I really can’t think of anything to compare them with!

The black sesame coffee was absolutely delicious, but there was a ton of grits left at the bottom of the cup.“

I got the blueberry lavender cream croissant muffin which was crazy good and my mom got the cherry almond muffin (not in photos) which she loved.
