“This was our second time at De Noche. The food was fantastic like I remembered. We sat at the kitchen counter the last time and I liked that better than the alcove we were put in this time. It's a small place and it felt a bit cramped. I'd recommend the counter for a more rich experience. Food was great. Service was mostly great...Miguel in particular.“

“Excellent food, generous portions. I ordered the shredded chicken taquitos and was very satisfied. Other companions in my group highly recommended the chorizo. Small eatery but can seat larger groups outside (8). Service was a little slow due to the homemade and fresh nature of the dish. So take your time and enjoy. I will definitely go back.“

“Stopped by on a late weekday and unfortunately we were only able to order food to go, but we’re still allowed to eat inside the restaurant. The food was above average and customer service was also excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone. Satisfied with our visit.“

“Great food cart for some Mexican food. Menu can be overwhelming but you can always just get the basic mole burrito for under $10.00. Grab a couple sauces for some extra goodness. Plenty of flavor without being overly spicy. Location near Mississippi have a covered eating area.“

“Came for the first time on a Saturday night and was not disappointed. The music was good and lots of people dancing. There wasn’t much seating but that was fine since I was on my feet most of the time anyway. Will need to come back and try the food because I hear that’s phenomenal too, staff was super nice and the decor is a vibe. Love the loteria table order cards too!“

“Colibri delivers on all fronts—amazing food, great service, and a cool vibe. The burrito was hands-down the best my husband's ever had: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The tamales and ceviche were equally impressive, showcasing how much care and quality go into their dishes.
The service was top-notch, even from the server who happens to be a Manchester United fan (haha - Go ARSENAL!). They were friendly, attentive, and added a fun energy to the experience.
The laid-back, cool vibe of the place makes it a spot you’ll want to come back to again and again. Highly recommend for anyone who loves fresh, authentic flavors and great hospitality!“

“FINALLY FOUND THE BEST STREET TACOS OF PORTLAND!!!!
Definitely going back and as this was my 1st trip, I'm going to encourage all my taco-fiends to go too! If you're thinking about it, STOP THINKING and just GO!!!! you'll not regret it.
The only con was the Horchata was a little bit too sweet and I had to split mine into 3 servings and add my own milk.“

“S/o to César for hooking it up with a bomb carne asada burrito. Asada was flavorful and I like how it wasn’t heavy with refried beans and using whole bean made more delicious and wasn’t heavy on the stomach , love the pico thru out the burrito and plenty of of sauces to pick from I went with mango habanero and avocado Serrano definitely will be back for some tacos and a breakfast burrito !“

“Fast, consistent, friendly, reasonable prices. Good flavors. Good portions of meat. That said, I think you should relabel your “crispy carnitas” as just pork. Carnitas is a very specific thing — more fatty and crispy vs. your drier, leaner pork.“

“Visited this great new addition to our neighborhood in SW Portland. Have tried the Taco Supreme, Quesadilla, and Cochinita Tacos and look forward to working my way through the other items on the menu. The Cochinita dishes showcase wonderful delicious shredded pork as the protein. The Horchata was also extremely well made and one of the best I've had in Portland. Mama Chio Rocks!“

“Incredible value and taste on the bean and cheese burrito. It was HUGE and SUPER cheesy for $5, and came with a side of plenty of solid crunchy tortilla chips and three different salsas. Enough food for two people. The art of the bean and cheese burrito is not easily mastered but they come close. Would be good with rice for an extra $1. Cannot recommend it enough. Nice woman working there on July 30“

“The place is a little odd and a bit rough around the edges (the menus don't have prices and they don't serve water in glasses, you have to buy a bottle of water), but the tacos were seriously fantastic. Particularly the carnitas--might be the best-tasting carnitas I've ever had. Short menu = food made well.“

“Update:
No better birria in southeast Portland! Usually top quality chile relleno, too. Also, sizable portions here - 1 burrito is nearly 2. Got the tinga plate last nite & was very happy.

This is the spot! Used to visit their old tienda in Gresham when the old folks ran it, before they retired. Still good!“

“Do yourself a favor and eat here, often. Everything I have gotten from them is absolutely delicious. More than once have I walked up with my order in mind, only to change it last minute to get one of their daily specials, and I have never regretted it. My god the Tamales are excellent... and this Birria Burrito I just got was absolutely perfect.“

“I ate at Verde Cocina en la Perla while at a work conferencein Portland, Oregon. The food was so delicious that I build my entire birthday around eating there! I live in Olympia, Washington. It is over an hour drive but I will keep doing it every few months. I had Arro as my bartender and server both times. He treats you like FAMILY, and this place IS family owned. I even was introduced to the creator of the Horchata French Toast dish. It is so good I cry happy tears thinking about it. Please visit for brunch and order it, you will NOT be sad about it. I don't even use syrup on the French toast, because the Horchata sauce is so so good on its own. The chillequilles are so so good with eggs OR tofu. Arro was awesome in helping us select desserts...the flan is so dang good, and it is #vegan! My wife and I are #vegetarian, but when I went with a coworker, he said that the meat dishes are "fire." I had a drink both times, first was the mango margarita. Tastes fresh and delicious! Had the perfect amount of tequila but tasted like juice...😈 I have also ordered the Paloma. I can't tell which one is my favorite!!! Anyways, do yourself a favor and order. Trust me.“

“Tried this today and me and my partner both said this is the best burrito we have had in Portland! And we have tried so many! It was so great having a vegan option on the menu instead of having to make alterations to an existing menu item, since I can’t have dairy.“

“I want to start with saying the people there were really really nice I didn't have service because I ordered my shrimp cocktail to go but I have to say I wasn't crazy about the cocktail sauce if you can call it that. It was more like water All the other food that I saw people eating looked really good. I'm not saying I wouldn't eat there again but I know I won't order the shrimp cocktail. Thankfully I had cocktail sauce at home that I added to it but the shrimp and avocado were good“

“You can tell this chef is very passionate about cooking. Each dish is plated so beautifully. The menu is seasonal with high end local produce from the farmers market. The staff is very warm. The interior is very nice, with very nice furniture(eg marble or quartz tables, I believe). It’s not inherently the chefs fault, but at this price point, the food is not what we really crave? Also, we were kind of feeling hungry with such a carb light menu. We just split one medium meat dish, so we do eat less protein than average? But I feel like it’s not enough food for vegetarians fyi. They did GRACIOUSLY make us some handmade tortillas off the menu and essentially didn’t charge us. Plus, we received complementary dessert wine tasting, since we complained about wanting some bread or tortillas. One bummer about this was that no one followed up about our request until we asked three different servers. Overall, I think this could be a great place. But just not for us at the moment.“

“My wife brought me here for my 70th birthday. She asked, "where would you like to go?" "Surprise me.", I told her. Oh my! My grandmother from Puebla, Mexico would have loved this place. The tortillas were fresh, Handmade! I ordered the Pozole. Oh so rich and fragrant and bustling with pork, hominy and a very wonderful broth. Did I mention the tortillas?? Oh Lord!! I plan to bring my three adult children here for my son's birthday. I plan to eat my way through the menu, over the course of the next year or so. I can see that there are many others who love this place. The entire time we were having dinner, there was a steady stream of people coming in for takeout. Yep, this is a gem of a restaurant. Come enjoy.“
