“The best pizza I’ve had, and I eat pizza a lot. We had the pepperoni and the garlic arugula pizza and my friend and I kept just saying how good it was. It’s the kind of pizza you feel like you should keep talking about but you come up short everytime you try.“

“Honestly some of the best pizza I have ever had. I really like the thick Detroit style with the slightly crunchy cheese at the edges. And the sauce was great as well. I had the cheese burger pizza, and it had just the right amount of heat.“

“I was here few years ago... that was BC (before Covid that is) and my recollection is that I was very impressed with the pizza and the ice cream. If I was impressed then, I was super impressed now. We had 2 pizzas both amazing, so much so that I'd call this one of the best pizza I had in Portland (yes, I had Ken and Apizza schools). Delicious ice cream to top that. Very friendly service. A place to go back more often. Promise not to wait again 4-5 years before I return.“

“My husband and I went to Grana for an impromptu date night and overall had a good experience. We started with the chicory Caesar and the dressing was extremely tasty and very light (in a good way) compared to most Caesars. The pizza was delicious, we got the blanco and the margherita. We both liked the blanco best but agreed the margherita was necessary too to add a fresh balance. The crust was absolutely delicious and the ingredients were very high quality and fresh. We also loved cutting the pizza with the shears, so fun! I'd recommend they look at expanding their wines by the glass menu a little bit, given the prices and high quality of the other food it would have been nice to have an option other than "house red" or "house white." My only real bit of constructive criticism is about the service. There were two servers, the guy was super nice but the girl wasn't overly friendly and hovered at our table after we got a box, waiting for us to leave so she could bus it. We were also seated at table 12 which is literally behind the host stand, I would highly recommend not seating people at that table unless you have a packed house because not only was it cramped, it was really awkward having to be eye level with the host's butt during the meal. There were a ton of empty tables throughout the restaurant so I regret not asking to be seated elsewhere, but I didn't want to seem high maintenance.“

“This is one of the few places that I will absolutely give all five stars. The neighborhood is beautiful, it's run by a husband and wife who are absolutely delightful. All my neighbors love them. I even got a friend who is staunchly religiously against eating pork to try one of their pizzas because he said it smells so good that he could break just this once, lol. He said it was beyond fantastic.I get the spicy Rosso, but I substitute the onions for garlic because I don't like onions on pizza. It's absolutely heavenly! I highly recommend this spot.“

“Incredible. I’ve never felt such a profound emotional reaction to something as simply advertised as pizza. It was an out of body experience and I’m assuming it’s this way because it’s somebody’s life work. It’s the only explanation I have. If that’s the case then it’s somehow elaborately deceptive in its facade of simple ingredients because it’s completely engineered to make you feel something so profound it catches you off guard in a world full of distractions.“

“I cannot overstate how delicious their vegan pizza options are. When I became vegan, I just accepted that there were certain things I probably wouldn't be having very often, pizza being one of them. I love vegan cheese, but sometimes it can be a little much, the vegan pizza here taste better than any cheese pizza I've had. I would seriously suggest checking out pizza kat. It's about five dollars per slice which is slightly expensive but I would say worth it. The slices are a pretty decent size and one should be enough. we actually decided to check out this location because their menu has more than pizza, my partner is diabetic and was able to eat there with no problem because they have olives and a few other options for tasty appetizers.“

“Had a great meal here on Friday night, including some of the best gluten free pasta we've ever had. Service was lovely, very professional and we were treated well. Was a nice evening out. We did make a reservation, which was ready and waiting for us. I would recommend reserving a table before hand as it gets quite busy. Can't wait to go back!“

“Pizza thief is a great, casual pizza spot! I came here for lunch on a Friday and got three slices and a small seasonal salad. They didn't have all the slices on their menu available, unfortunately, so I didn't get to try the slice I really wanted to, but we got the cheese, hot tony, and seasonal slice. The cheese was my favorite! Tasted like a classic NY slice. The seasonal was also one of the better white pizzas I've tried (they're usually not my favorite). It had asparagus, sunflower seed pesto, spring onion mix, and a bunch of cheeses. The Hot Tony wasn't my favorite surprisingly since I typically love a spicy meat pizza. And their small seasonal salad was good but just a touch too acidic for me although I will say the feta on the salad was super creamy and delicious.“

“Ken’s bakery was such a cute place! We ordered the Oregon croissant which was absolutely amazing. It had blueberries and blackberries and was toasty warm, it melts in your mouth! The morning bun was also delicious with a hint of orange and the coffee always also really good! The lady taking our order was very friendly. We will definitely be going back for seconds! Would highly recommend checking them out for a quick bite, but they also have seating inside if you want to stay and work or chat with a friend.“

“This is an amazing local bar that I hope never becomes famous. It’s full of locals who enjoy an amazing dining experience with some great beers. The owner is one amazing lady who is fully engaged in the bar and loves her customers and it absolutely shows. I will definitely be back to this place multiple times, I had a fantastically fun night and I want to thank everybody I met there tonight. Big shout out to Amanda. It was her first night tonight and she was absolutely amazing.“

“Great little neighborhood pizza joint offering slices and craft beer. There is a bar and some seating inside, several tables outside. I got a couple of slices of pepperoni, which reminded me of a Detroit style pizza. The slices came out quick, I had to order my beer twice as the bartender forgot about it. Silverware, water and busing your dishes is self service.“
“Staff was so nice!! Barely any pictures of food so we didn’t think they sold food but their menu is amazing. I had the steak sandwich which was very tender and my boyfriend had the burger. It was super delicious!! And once again the staff is so friendly!“

“I usually go for NY style pizza if I'm getting pizza but wanted to try here bc it sounded different. Wasn't sure how Indian it was going to be, and I would say after trying it is mostly on the classic pizza side w/ about 25% Indian. I liked it but they could make it more Indian tasting & I think I'd like it more. You can choose from a few topping options such as tandoori chicken, curry chicken & a few others. They also have paneer vegetarian options which I may try next time as they sound good. They let you choose half and half and we tried a couple of the chicken options and both were very tasty. I wasn't the biggest fan of their standard crust as it was a bit doughy to me but I noticed that you can choose different crust as well as make your own pizza (only after I ordered unfortunately) and they have a thin crust or cauliflower crust option as well as some others. The interior is spacious w/ some big screens that have games on. They also have some nice specials, a lunch special for a small pizza & weekday special where your 1st beer is $1.“

“Reeva makes a damn fine slice, that's for sure. Not too thick, not too thin: for us Portland pizza pundits, it's thicker than Otto's, thinner than just about everyone else. The pepperoni, with its included jalapenos and fermented chili honey, is incredible, and my wife said the Margherita is the best she'd ever had anywhere! They're a little on the small-ish side, with one pizza being enough for 1-2 people at most, and also a bit pricey for said size, but it's hard to top these toppings for quality and flavor! They're also fast, friendly, and conveniently located on Sandy for us Nor'easters! Don't believe-a? Eat at Reeva!Parking: Street parking only, but plenty of side streets.Wheelchair accessibility: Street-side with plenty of sidewalk.“

“I went with my family during Happy Hour and the food was delicious. For starters we ordered some ricotta cheese crostinis that were delicious and a "small" salad which was more than enough for 3 people. The pizza was a delight but the best thing was to accompany it with a delicious sangria.I highly recommend this place.“

“This style of pizza is my favourite. Thin and well cooked, which is key to me. Disclosure; I am Italian and quite fussy over the quality of the sauce and base. This guy's pizza is light, you can eat an all-pie like back home, and don't feel like you are entering a carb coma. I put them up there with Otto, Oven and Shaker. All three of these places tend to over-salt but still are my top 3.I also like Meta's staff they are always upbeat and fun.We called last night around 9pm to order 4 pues, we had hungry kids and adults, and the staff was so kind and made us some food, no fuss, no grumpiness. Even that late.Dietary restrictions: One of our friend is gluten free and she really liked the base. She said it was delicious.“

“NY style pizza from a food truck? You betcha. Top PDX pizza places for NY style pizza are usually Escape from NY, SFNY, SIZZLE Pie, Baby Doll but now you can add Giants NY to the list. Ordered an 18” Pepperoni pie and everything about it is just right. The fold, the cheese pull, the taste, Yumm! Also ordered a sausage calzone because it is so rare to find a calzone here that contains ricotta cheese. This was huge and full of goodness. That ricotta sure hits the spot!“

“Incredible. One of the best vegan cheese pizzas I've had. The crust, the sausage, the peppers, all top notch. But the reason for the 5 star review is not just the excellent food. The staff and management truly care about people and show real compassion toward the community. I was visiting a dear family friend who was in a devastating auto accident and brought to Portland for treatment. He's coming along miraculously, despite having a long road ahead. As we were ordering, management noticed and took really good care of us. I will definitely be back for the food and vibes. Highly recommend this establishment! Life of Pie gets it.“

“This is The Beatles of pizza and personal customer service. Chris and Julie are consummate chefs and proprietors of this cozy place and are focused on customer satisfaction. Not since the original owners of Pietro's/Enginehouse Pizza sold to entities unknown has Milwaukie had real pizza. And perhaps surprisingly, Milwaukie enjoys a rich history of good pizza, starting with Smokey Joe's and Chico's, both located where the River Roadhouse stands today. To say that the time has come for Milwaukie Pizza Company is not only a gross understatement, it is totally inaccurate. “Nice little family-owned pizza place. The atmosphere is a rare one nowadays in that it feels cozy, like a place parents would take you to for pizza in childhood, instead of the trendy and slick places that abound around here. The service was warm. The man who I assume is the owner took our order and made the pizza himself. It was delicious, cheesy, the sauce was really good, and the crust was tasty as well! I will definitely be going back.“

“I applaud you for being open!!! I ordered my food Togo on the phone. When I got there front door was open with a table blocking which there was a sign order here. I went to back door which was closed, I opened cause I guessed maybe that’s where you get your food Togo and it was to be picked up there. I come thru he said you order from the front( also didn’t really give me a chance to politely saying anything) and noted there was another guy in there that looked to be picking up food as well. Then went to the front he come to the front door with a iPad to take my order and I say a order Togo for Robbie. Then was “owe ok”. Get home the food was great some of the best pie I have ever had! Only reason I explained this was I think clear signage would make this transaction easier. This is a very tough time and people want to be safe. I also LIKED he asked to pay Cc over the phone and asking for the tip ahead of time does limits person contact. Will be back!“

“Dined last night with a party of eight, four kids and four adults and the food was great! Brussel sprouts, arancini, kale salad, and pizzas all came out quickly and everything was nicely seasoned and well balanced in flavor. The only real problem with our experience would be the lack of servers/ front of the house staff. Trying to connect with friends over a meal and having to order through a QR codes is really just the worst. Unfortunately this pandemic band-aid fix for social distancing has continued for places like this to keep labor costs down for restaurant/ establishment owners. Easier on their pocket books however this provides a lackluster experience for their customers. Even our food runner couldn't help us navigate our order history to search for a mistake in their food delivery, he was kind and fixed it however. The pandemic is over, hire some great FOH staff and this place would be soooo much better.Parking: Nice, large parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Nice large tables with games for kids!“

“Recently visited for the first time and 10/10 experience all around, will definitely be back. Best Detroit style pizza I've had outside of Wayne county. Crust was thick but not too heavy, great sauce flavor, and toppings were fresh and plentiful. Beautiful presentation. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable (s/o Matt and Taco) and the food cart ambiance is always fun. A little spendy but to me was well worth it. I told my family to order Ranch for my funeral, I was that impressed. Can't wait to go back and try more pie.“

“Saw this place on instagram a few times right before a PDX trip, so bookmarked it and made a point to check it out! We came by for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed! There was a line to the door, all the tables were full, and lots of people were standing around waiting to grab a table. The seating was pretty limited so we ordered our squares to go. While we were waiting, a table became available so we ended up getting to eat there after all. Perfect for the freshest bites. Two of us shared the mushroom and onion squares, we asked them to cut them in half and they were happy to oblige. I liked both of the squares, but the onion one was probably the winner for me. Though the real winner was the focaccia. I could've eaten 5 pieces of the bread topping-free. The toppings were flavorful, but a little different. The mushrooms had a super nutty taste to the point that I was wondering if it was a vegan based nut cheese on the focaccia, before realizing it was the mushrooms. I wasn't the only one that thought the cheese might be a cheese substitute either, it had a slightly off texture for what we were used to. Either way, it's a cool spot and I'm glad we checked it out. It's nice that you can order by the square or a whole thing. I'd probably stick to the squares to try more of the flavors.“

“Last night we went to Nostrana and wow! Absolutely spectacular! The ambience is warm and inviting with giant light globes dangling from the ceiling and huge flower like shapes made of what looked like vehicle trunk lining. It was really hopping for a Monday night! Happy people were a buzz. The service was excellent, no need to hang on to that fork for later, every course, new plates and cutlery. Our waiter Issac, had a very laid back, warm vibe and knew his menu items and wines. We had an appetizer (not pictured) of calamari, but it was not fried, it was in this sauce that was so good extra bread needed be requested so that we could sop up the deliciousness. We both had salads butter lettuce and a Caesar made with radicchio, both were delicious. Main course of a crab pasta, and I had scallops, because they are my favorite things in the entire world. But let me talk about the little potatoes on the plate, at first glance they look to be your average cut potatoes that you might have with breakfast, but you would be oh so wrong! These little beauties were super crispy on the outside and would literally melt in your mouth upon piercing their crunchy skin. I've never experienced a potato like this, an absolute revelation! The scallops, along with some steamed spinach, stood a top a heavenly silky cauliflower purée - perfection. We finished the meal off with their tiramisu which was not only gorgeous but an amazing taste explosion. It was so soft and creamy we wondering how it stayed up right on the plate. So, we are now converts of Nostrana. Very much looking forward to going back. ??“

It doesn’t get the hype that other Portland pizza places get, but it’s just as good.I think the only reason it doesn’t get a lot of attention is because vegetarian options are pretty much build your own and some of the pies just have too many toppings for a thin crust, which is distracting. In my top 5 in Portland for sure“

“I can’t believe how expensive pizza is in the Portland area. I’m always shocked when we get the bill. $75 for two pizzas, no drinks or anything else, is insane (one XL and one gluten free 12”). The gluten free was actually one of the better that I’ve had. They put so many toppings on, like honestly it’s too much sometimes. Decent pizza but for the price… you could go to a nice restaurant. The staff were friendly. Restaurant reminds me of pizza places I went to after a softball game in the 90s as a little kid, outdated but nostalgic.“
