I had a baker last minute no show to a wedding I recently coordinated and within an hour and a half after talking with them we had a new wedding cake and table of desserts. WHICH WERE SUCH A HIT!! “I learned about this place from a friend who gifted my husband an amazing Tiramisu. I was pleasantly surprised to taste a Tiramisu that actually tasted authentic. Curious, I decided to visit, and I discovered that they make a variety of desserts, including cannoli, which are filled just before you buy them ( finally some place that can do that!)I also tried the cornetto (This should not be confused with a croissant) and the focaccia, and wow! Finally, a focaccia that doesn’t have a lingering taste of acidity. The coffee was good too as the atmosphere and the service. I totally advise this Italian place especially becouse, in my opinion,they can make very Italian taste.“

“Morning of my gfs birthday, I head here to order a durian cake since she loves it (most Vietnamese do). I asked if they could finish in 3 hours, they said yes. Their english over the phone wasnt as good as in person, but they are very friendly and they love what they do! $45 for a durian 8 person cake and they finished in less than 2 hours on late notice. Amazing. My gf was so happy.
They even threw in some baked goods and candles. They really helped out.

“Oh my goodness, where to start. All the ladies that work here are looking to help you find a fantastic deal. They don't care if you're paying with cash, debit, or EBT. They're looking to help you save money, not spend it. And they want you to fill up more bags! I love these ladies, they're like your favorite aunts all in one place!

“Anytime I find myself nearby ( we live about 25 minutes away) , I make a beeline for Baker and Spice to load up on their delicious breads (we are addicted to the sandwich loaf). They have a super solid selection of both sweet and savory pastries, cakes,and excellent take and bake biscuits. The best bakery I have tried in SW PDX.“

“Get there early or there won't be much left, this place sells out.
Banana bread danish is wildly delicious and has no business being so good. I was surprised and pleased there was even 1 left for me to try when I got there. Coffee was great.

“I love this place. My friends order in English and I order in Spanish as some practice for myself and the order is correct every time. The folks who run it are very kind in my experience and the selection of pan dulce is incredible. They even make substitutions or remove things that I don’t like from my order as needed. Also, it’s one of the least expensive burrito spots I’ve found, which is an absolute plus. I drive to this place rather than closer places because the quality and price just cannot be beat.“

“Usually love this place. The only issue is they are frequently out of flavors. Went yesterday and was told to wait 30 for the flavor I wanted. Waited 30. Then they said it was going to be another 30 when I came back. We left with no cookies and went to menchie's Nextdoor instead. Also they are closed on Sundays which is a very popular day to get treats. That part stinks big time.“

“Had our son’s Bday cake done here, NO REGRETS… If you’re tired of overly sweet, flavorless and dry birthday cakes from Safeway and Freddie’s come give these guys a shot.
We did a vanilla cake with a strawberry layer decorated like Minecraft. The cake was moist and fluffy, the fresh strawberry and crème filling was SO good and the frosting is light and fluffy, not like the heavy and ultra sweet frosting on “mass produced” cakes. You are going to pay a little more here but it’s well worth it.. Thank you for doing such a good job on our boys cake!“

I tried to place an order for my father’s birthday, but there was some difficulty delivering it due to an error on my part. FYI, this was my first time ordering from this location all the way down in California.
Despite my mistake, Holly was extremely kind and understanding. I cannot thank her enough for her dedication to helping me make my father’s birthday extra special.

“Seri is one of the kindest sweetest people you’ll meet! She’s can make anything you can dream up and not to mention it will taste amazing!! She made the most adorable mini cakes with the coolest design of pink and gold flaked frosting- my jaw just dropped with I saw them, they were perfect! Highly, highly recommend Seri for any dessert needs- she will leave you blown away!“

“Stopped by for a treat and ended up buying a selection of items. Then added a turkey sandwich for lunch. Small, little shop, nothing impressive but nice. Friendly owner. But then you get the food and instead of fancy looking items that taste bland, this is the real deal. Great desserts that taste divine! So good!! The sandwich was made to order and was also delicious. We were happy campers and thrilled to find a authentic bakery. Wish I lived in Portland and could visit more often.“

“My daughter asked my something to eat I was clueless what can I buy for her to eat so I spot Great Harvest Bread Co I admit I never had hear this place before also did not know they sell soup. I ask the cashier what they have for kids mw knowing that my daugther is so picky to eat just 6 years old and the cashier was so kind on offer I think it was a potaoe soup with halft of Turkey sándwich, for my surprice the soup brings chip, and a delicious bread, my daugther LOVES IT she ate all both of it I was SPEACHLESS because knowing her is A headache when it is time for eat. She keeps saying it’s so YUMMY mama and told by now on it will be her FAVORITE place to eat!!!“

“So I work at the mall and I absolutely love the b.e.l.t. sandwich, but I am a little butt hurt that they replaced the egg with avocado. Because I thought it was just going to be a temporary thing cuz maybe they ran out of egg or something, but it seems to be permanent and they don't even have enough decency to change the sign lol like it's been months. Bring back the egg please and please for the love of God put more out make more in the morning or something because you guys run out so soon and it's like a 50/50 chance on if I'm going to get to the mall in time that one is still available“

“The only powdered chocolate cream donuts anywhere in town (and I've checked), just the way Winchell's used to make them: absolute perfection! The other donuts are incredible, too, but the powdered with the poof of chocolate icing is my go-to 4 LIFE! When my husband and I journey 25+ miles to a Sesame Donuts and our box of donuts is in our car, I may spontaneously serenade my donuts. They're THAT GOOD! 🎵 "Oooh, chocolate poopers, you are the best donut in the world!" 🎵 😄“

“MASARAP! worth every penny. We ordered their Double Dark Chocolate and Taro Milkteas (both with creamcheese puff and pearls). What I like is that di sya sobrang tamis. Saktong sakto ang lasa at tamis kaya di nakakaumay. The creamcheese puff is also amazing. The cheesy creamy flavor of the puff complements the sweetness and creaminess of the milk tea. The ambiance is also very homey. Ang bango rin sa loob which makes the milktea experience even more satisfying.“

“Had a wonderful first, of many, experiences at Blissful Bakery! Deb and Bob were kind and made us feel so welcome! Both indoor/outdoor seating were clean and tidy! Now…the pastries…literally the best scones I’ve ever had; so flavorful and soft! The cookies were soft and the flavors hit the mark! The sandwiches that Bob made were very good and hit the flavors as well! So excited to have found this lovely place! Thank you both for the great experience and convo!!“
