Worker was incredibly helpful and friendly, noticed we were visiting and recommended other coffee shops too. Real inviting space and Kens is just up the street which makes for a killer combo. Before leaving decided to get some beans and worker comp'd me some house beans, such a kind gesture!“

“Just purchased my third machine from the good people at Clive. My first experience with a lever machine, the Profitec Pro 800.
Looked at many different machines, but honestly, I would not even consider purchasing a machine from somebody else, not only because their proximity to where I live, but because of the excellent support that I have received over the years from the sales people and the tech support. Outstanding. Having that kind of support makes purchasing a sometimes finicky product that espresso machines can be, much less of a concern.

“I don’t care if you’re vegan or not, this is some of the best food ever! Whatever you are craving will be so amazing but if you were to only get one thing get the Crunchwrap. It will make you feel things your partner never could. Also have you ever been disappointed when you went to Taco Bell and the Crunchwrap was smaller than you wanted, well not here, it’s massive and way more flavorful than Taco Bell could ever hope to be. There is not a single reason you shouldn’t be going here at multiple times a month. Lastly literally everyone who works here is just the biggest bundle of joy and so kind it brightens your day 😊“

Many businesses need to have their staff experience being served here, these people are volunteers and are respectful, cheerful, and nice; yet most paid servers here in Portland are not so respectful, cheerful, or nice, and are usually loudly complaining about their jobs. They roast their own beans, make all their own syrups, and source tasty snacks locally. they’ve got delicious vegan options that actually feel creative and satisfying. My oat milk chai latte was absolute perfection (creamy, not too sweet, with just the right ginger kick), and the breakfast burrito was crispy, warm, and fennel-forward for those who love it.

The space has great vibes. beautiful aesthetics, plenty of outlets, and the kind of calm that makes you want to stay and read or draw for hours. Parking was a breeze in the gravel lot, and prices are super reasonable

“This cute little spot is very hip (in the black metal seating and minimalism decor sort of way), very cute. I got the famed marionberry poptart which lived up to the hype. I got a season pistachio drink that ended up being a little too sweet for my taste (I was told it was slightly sweet but was surprised when it was full blown). Latte art was beautiful. The barista was wonderfully helpful and gave a full rundown of the offerings. This is not a work in a coffee shop sort of cafe. The tables are small yet cute. Better to plan for a short visit.“

“Pretty solid coffee with lots of fancy flavor options to choose from as well. I did not get to try the banh mi as I came in at 7 AM and was very likely the first person in.

I did try the donuts and while they weren’t terrible, They weren’t exactly what I expected when I see the word donut. They were dense and smooth and cool temp wise, lol I really can’t think of anything to compare them with!

The black sesame coffee was absolutely delicious, but there was a ton of grits left at the bottom of the cup.“
