“Awesome addition to the Portland coffee scene. Hit up about 5 coffee shops on a trip and sterling was up there along with Sisters. Worker was incredibly helpful and friendly, noticed we were visiting and recommended other coffee shops too. Real inviting space and Kens is just up the street which makes for a killer combo. Before leaving decided to get some beans and worker comp'd me some house beans, such a kind gesture!“

“This is an excellent little spot for a coffee. The baristas are passionate about specialty coffee and matcha. Not only did they make me a phenomenal flat white, but we also had a great chat about a pour over brewer I was interested in trying at home.“

Simon was so very pleasant and very informative of things igoing on in the neighborhood (such as a nice stroll around the corner to cathedral park). We sipped on affogato(divine!!) and picked 2 pastries to share - Marion berry poptart (my absolute fave) and a butterscotch apple turnover (equally delicious)! Stop in and see Simon! “I don’t care if you’re vegan or not, this is some of the best food ever! Whatever you are craving will be so amazing but if you were to only get one thing get the Crunchwrap. It will make you feel things your partner never could. Also have you ever been disappointed when you went to Taco Bell and the Crunchwrap was smaller than you wanted, well not here, it’s massive and way more flavorful than Taco Bell could ever hope to be. There is not a single reason you shouldn’t be going here at multiple times a month. Lastly literally everyone who works here is just the biggest bundle of joy and so kind it brightens your day 😊“

“Truly a perfect coffee shop, and my favorite in Portland. I loved working at Wallflower when I lived in the area, and have so enjoyed visiting in more recent months. The coffee is consistently excellent, they’re open early, the staff is kind, and the space is cozy with plenty of seating. (They also have WiFi.)“

“This place is just the best. Cute, quiet, and run by the nicest volunteer staff you could imagine. They roast their own beans, make all their own syrups, and source tasty snacks locally. they’ve got delicious vegan options that actually feel creative and satisfying. My oat milk chai latte was absolute perfection (creamy, not too sweet, with just the right ginger kick), and the breakfast burrito was crispy, warm, and fennel-forward for those who love it.

The space has great vibes. beautiful aesthetics, plenty of outlets, and the kind of calm that makes you want to stay and read or draw for hours. Parking was a breeze in the gravel lot, and prices are super reasonable

“The matcha tonic with pandan and lime was incredible. The bowl was extremely umami with the fish sauce gravy and mushrooms and very fresh. I also tried the pandan waffle and it’s among the best waffles I’ve had. They use rice flour dough in the batter so it’s very chewy, like mochi.

Would recommend dining in because the textures won’t hold up as well for takeout and you won’t have the same experience. Staff is super friendly and welcoming.“

“I used to work near this café, so I was a frequent visitor for years. Since leaving that previous job, I hadn't been by in years, but I had an opportunity to stop in today. They're still incredible, the Morrocan biscuit is still delicious and satisfying and their Morrocan Pistachio latte blows Starbucks boring one out of the water. Always worth a stop in if you find yourself nearby!“

“Pretty solid coffee with lots of fancy flavor options to choose from as well. I did not get to try the banh mi as I came in at 7 AM and was very likely the first person in.

I did try the donuts and while they weren’t terrible, They weren’t exactly what I expected when I see the word donut. They were dense and smooth and cool temp wise, lol I really can’t think of anything to compare them with!

The black sesame coffee was absolutely delicious, but there was a ton of grits left at the bottom of the cup.“

Idk what kind of magic they put in their espresso but it was so smooth — like chocolatey but not sweet, just rich in a lowkey way. Everyone behind the bar was vibing, playing decent music and being helpful without hovering. Wifi’s strong, tables spaced out, and the bathroom? Honestly, cleaner than most people’s homes. “This was the best cup of coffee that we have ever had! The heart barista’s are amazing- super down to earth and know exactly what they’re doing when it comes to making a well crafted latte or cup of coffee. We each got a latte and a drip coffee and both were amazing!

I got the blueberry lavender cream croissant muffin which was crazy good and my mom got the cherry almond muffin (not in photos) which she loved. Her latte was also so yummy and beautiful, definitely better coffee than matcha! For 2 drinks and 2 pastries it was a bit pricey but what isn’t these days.“

“This cute little spot is very hip (in the black metal seating and minimalism decor sort of way), very cute. I got the famed marionberry poptart which lived up to the hype. I got a season pistachio drink that ended up being a little too sweet for my taste (I was told it was slightly sweet but was surprised when it was full blown). Latte art was beautiful. The barista was wonderfully helpful and gave a full rundown of the offerings. This is not a work in a coffee shop sort of cafe. The tables are small yet cute. Better to plan for a short visit.“
