“New favorite joint. Best clam chowder ever. Don't tell the restaurants I've had it in in Boston. Great owners. 1950s Blues Music. Highly suggest. Off of 3rd between Columbia and Jefferson. Downtown on SW side.“

“Everything from beverages to food, dine in or take out. Gourmet hot and cold sandwiches, pastries, soup and salads are all amazingly delicious. Whenever you need something for your get together or party, just ask Leo, the manager. He is so awesome, kind and accommodating.“

“I had a fantastic experience at Yoonique Phở & Grill! The pho was outstanding, with an overabundance of meat—something you don’t see often. They definitely don’t skimp on portions, making the meal feel like a great value for the price. Speaking of which, the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous serving sizes.
The interior of the restaurant was well-laid-out, which honestly surprised me given the neighborhood. It had a clean, inviting atmosphere that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The service was also top-notch—attentive, friendly, and efficient.
Perhaps the biggest testament to the quality of the food is that even my picky wife enjoyed it! That alone speaks volumes. If you’re looking for delicious pho, great service, and fair prices, Yoonique Phở & Grill is definitely worth a visit.
Update to Our Review:
We returned to the restaurant and, as always, the food was excellent. This time, we tried the seafood fried rice, which unfortunately wasn’t a hit—it just didn’t land well for us. On the brighter side, the fresh lychee tea was superb: light, refreshing, and full of flavor. We also had the Thai iced tea, which, as always, was solid and enjoyable.
Still one of our go-to spots, and we’ll definitely be back—just not for the seafood fried rice next time.“

“Great pho with better than most cuts of meat. My wife got the pad thai and said she enjoyed it very much. Would recommend to friends. They were also very nice to my 2.5 year old daughter and were considerate enough to bring a small bowl for her to share some of our food with.“

“I was hesitant to go here because it’s right on Powell and I didn’t care for the previous businesses that occupied this space but I’m glad I got over that because the food is amazing.
I’ve been very happy with their Khao Pad, Pad Kee Mao, Pad Cashew Nut, Pad See Ew, and of course their Pad Thai. My partner loves their curry.
The staff is very friendly and the environment is comfortable. Large bar selection too. Highly recommended!“

“Yum!! On our last visit to Portland we stopped at The Minnow for lunch. We had the miso sesame noodles and the squash ramen. So delicious! It was just what we needed on a rainy Portland day. And I love that they source ingredients from local farms and makers. You can really taste the passion and attention to detail. We’ll definitely come back next time!“

“If you know, you know — Kenny’s Noodle House is the spot in Portland for Hong Kong–style comfort food 🍜🇭🇰. The Wonton Noodle Soup? Plump, juicy perfection in a broth that tastes like it’s been simmered all day 🥟🔥. BBQ Pork & Roast Duck Noodles? Smoky, tender, and downright addictive 🦆. And don’t sleep on the Beef Brisket Noodle Soup — melt-in-your-mouth beef in rich, aromatic goodness 🐂✨.
Generous portions, wallet-friendly prices, and that cozy, casual vibe that makes you want to linger. Come hungry, leave happy — and maybe a little obsessed.“

“The staff is very friendly. From order to table is fast. Never been disappointed with the food. When they're busy they're super busy and the hassle bustle atmosphere adds passively to the experience (in my opinion). Must try. We will always keep coming back (since 2014)!“

“Langbaan’s Thai-Muslim–inspired tasting menu was incredible! We started with delicate bites like the Miang Som (shrimp, pomelo, betel leaf) and the Kanom Krok (scallop in coconut cream, crispy rice cup), Gang Kahri- venison tartare which was delicious! For main we had a rich lamb curry, and even a standout Thai-Muslim curry rice. Dessert including a Roti Sai Mhai and cake khing was a perfect, surprising finish. The kitchen handled my food restrictions gracefully and without complaint, and each dish was as thoughtfully prepared as the regular menu.“

“Excited to try out a new Thai place in portland. I had the opportunity to eat outside, which was lovely. I ordered the fried chicken in basil sauce, yellow curry, and a iced tea with coconut milk. The food was delicious.“

“Was excited by the daily special menu concept of this lil viet noodle joint. The food was mid-edible-decent at best, but the price is pretty high af. A bowl of whatever noodle is nearly $20! Now I know inflation is high but a bowl of vermicelli noodles in chicken broth with some shredded meats should not cost this much!“

“The fried chicken with sticky rice and sauce is special. Really delicious. I loved that you get real plates when you eat at the cart! Fried rice was delicious. Skip the Pad Kee Mao. Fast and friendly service. Bring back the coconut water!
Kid-friendliness: Clean and open area for my toddler to explore. Spice level of food was also good for him without any modifications.“

“Scenic upstairs setting overlooking the lan su gardens. Tranquil atmosphere with the chirping of a variety of birds in the background. Teahouse is air conditioned and offers both iced and hot teas. The price for tea and dessert is very reasonable. Worth a visit, but plan time to enjoy the juxtaposition of a peaceful garden inside the hustle and bustle of the city.“

“I've probably had 30-40 sandwiches here at this point, the service is great and the specials are always worth giving a try. It's not going to be the cheapest lunch you've ever eaten, but sometimes having a sandwich that can border on transcendent might be worth a buck or two.
Order ahead online, try the soup, eat it in the sunshine.“

“For some odd reason, I have resisted visiting this café. And yet there have been times when I just wanted an old-fashioned breakfast. SMH at Milo’s you get an old-fashioned breakfast. You also can get it with a chef twist. It was an excellent breakfast. What the heck was wrong with me? I went with a GF and we each had a mimosa along with it.
I will absolutely return to this place. I’m such a dummy sometimes.“

One of the best restaurants we went to in Portland!
We went there without a reservation, we waited 5 minutes.
I recommend this reserve for 0 wait time.
The waiter’s name is Benny! Wow! Number one! She is very professions, patient, cute and kind.
She explains for us about meals, new meals and was really kind!
The meals are huge!
Each meal comes with salad or soup, salad and soup are bottomless l, you can order as much as you wish. The salad is huge. Also.
The kids meals are good enough, the regular meals we could have one for both, they are very big meals and full plates.
Wet tasty wine
Nice place
Great for special occasions
E joy it!“

“So happy to find reasonable pricing for really good dumplings! This was our first visit; the server was kind, made recommendations, and answered questions well. We ordered an assortment of items, and everything was good, some were amazing. My husband fell in love with the cucumber salad, and brothy bun. The only drawback was noise level; we were in mid day, 3:30ish, and were surprised how the voices carried in the room. Not only did it make the room loud, I felt a little self conscious. Outside of that, I would absolutely recommend a visit for some great food!“

“This place should be Latin and gay on Saturdays. On Sundays it is difficult to go, but there is no other choice. The organizers are creative and enthusiastic. $15 is a lot of money, $10 is still acceptable. They could improve the show. The prices are not so accessible.“

“I got a blue mango, which ended up teal. that's my favorite color and it was pretty good, kinda sweeter than expected but the service was fast! they let my friend mix up a ridiculous abomination of a smoothie (carrot cake plus chocolate and pea protein) but they let HIM ruin a perfectly good smoothie with a smile haha“

“Crisp renewed my love of salads. Hell, Crisp renewed my love in colorful foods, period. Hyperbole? Not in the least. Every visit is a treat and takeout is every bit as good. Crisp is actually the reason I started using Uber Eats. I can't always get down there to visit in person, but I'll be damned if I'm going to skip my favorite salad over transportation issues.“

“Very very good spot. Almost a cool little PDX food speakeasy. Excellent service and wine list (growers bubbles). Most dishes we ONPOINT the rabbit confit crape is one of the better dishes I've had this year. One dish fell short (cabbage) but overall this is a very solid spot that I will be delighted to go to multiple times.“
