“Ordered to-go chicken and waffles, and the turkey BLT. Was ready to go at the stated time. There were a handful of beautiful cakes right at the front, ready to go. The only thing was that it was not packed in a to-go bag but save the environment I guess was the idea. Would have loved some utensils as well. The chicken was some of the best fried chicken that I have found around the metro area. Waffle was pretty good too and the syrup was fantastic. Free street parking right out front and around the area.“

Shannon did everything to make our evening special, Including Setting up The beautiful to your patio and switching the tables around. The food was beautiful and the price was amazing. “The vegan and vegetarian options are clearly marked on the menu, they've got vegan mayo and Chao brand vegan cheese available, any burger can be substituted with either a garden patty or Beyond patty, and there are a few fully vegan dishes needing no modifications. I tried the Mai Thai Bowl tonight and was blown away at how good it tasted. It's also a good environment, quiet and calm, good air conditioning, and so unlike all the other loud overwhelming pubs in town.“

“Stopped in to have some burgers. Food was great but the service was outstanding. Aaron our waiter and the other two waitresses, didn’t catch their names, were absolutely fantastic. No waiting on drinks or our food. I appreciate great customer service and that’s what we got!!“

“I've always had decent food here at Bannings. This morning I ordered Pumpkin pancakes.....what a disappointment. The pumpkin batter needed salt added to it and it also could have used a bit more sugar in the batter. The syrup was not real maple syrup but table top ad says, "warm maple syrup," so I expected real maple syrup. It also says, "whipped butter." I asked the waiter about the maple syrup and he told me it was "artificial" maple and argued the fact that the restaurant never said "real" maple syrup. Maybe the butter is whipped margarine...who knows what liberties are taken in menu descriptions. I'm a "real" maple syrup customer.“

The food I've never had pancakes so light and fluffy and they tasted so fantastic and I am not really a pancake lover but for some reason I was craving them. Well worth the cost and it's reasonable. But your plates are absolutely full. I made three meals out of my big platter. It's a very comforting type of place. Highly recommend“

“We walked into a waiting area full of people. We checked in and went right to our table. We will make reservations moving forward when dining here. Food was delicious, as always! Our waiter, Juan, was excellent! I don't recall the managers name - Ryan maybe? But he was also great!“

“I have found Oswego Grill food, ambience and service to always be very good. It can get noisy as it did on Sunday morning. My friend and I were in a booth but a loud group (just having fun but loud) was seated right behind my friend. This was in addition to my friend sitting under the ceiling music speaker. I asked the manager who came by at that point to inquire about how our service and I asked if we could be moved. He and our server quickly moved us to a less noisy booth in the restaurant. This is the kind of service I will ALWAYS come back for! Definitely keep returning to Oswego Grill“

“What a great place! We stopped here for lunch finally and will definitely be back.

I first discovered this place after having visited Germany and looking for good schnitzel here at home. The hours are a lil weird with our schedule, but we finally made it! This place is as close as I've found to what we enjoyed over seas.

We got all 4 of the lunch schnitzels. They're half orders and a lil smaller. So, it was perfect for the three of us. The dill pickle soup is excellent and the house-made Radler... Wow! Everyone over here wants to add juice to their radlers, but in Germany they add Sprite and that's really tough to find over here for some reason... Anyway, Otto and Anita do it right.

The atmosphere was cute and homey. There was plenty of seating, but maybe not plenty of parking. We got a lil creative.

We were too full for dessert, but it looks delicious. We'll definitely be back.“

“This restaurant has been a long time Tigard staple for years. I was eager for the reopening in hopes a lot of my fav's would return. It definitely has a new vibe. The menu is at the front and I think I would prefer ones at my table. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The winner of the night had to be the halibut fish and chips. The pieces are HUGE. The breading was nice and crunchy. Their Cole slaw was equally delicious. My suggestions would be to turn the music down as the acoustics are weird and at the same time keep the water glasses full. “My wife, one of my sons, and I went to have pizza and sodas there, and then afterward to play a round of miniature golf. We had a large pizza that we split that was half plain cheese pizza and half pepperoni. Quite delicious! Then we played 18 holes of miniature golf, and did we have a lot of fun! It's a well-manicured miniature golf course, that is fairly challenging to say the least. It has several, artistic and fanciful decorations placed throughout the course so that it's pleasing to go through all 18 holes to see what's next to view and be played. My family and I discovered that they also have bowling there, as well, so we'll definitely return to play that on our next visit!“

“I come to this particular Black Bear every year because it is the one nearest to the hotel nearest to where my dad lives. I go to a Black Bear Diner pretty often, and this one is up to the same high standards as basically all the others I've visited. This visit, however, was not to see my dad but to go to his funeral. But when I did, and I sat there just reading for a bit over a hamburger, listening to nothing in particular, my waiter was very helpful and attentive despite there seeming to be a lot of people and not enough waiters. He had no way of knowing that today was one of the hardest days in my life. He was kind, attentive, and engaged me in a brief conversation in a natural way without it being forced. I sat for a bit after my meal and had refills for another half hour, until just after closing time. My waiter's name is Ethan. Melissa told me that while she wasn't the manager, I should put a review up online so that my compliment gets back to him. I don't know if I will be back here any time soon. If I am, I will hope to see Ethan, who just did his job and who was genuine.“

“This was our first time here and certainly won't be the last. The ambiance, service and cuisine made for a marvelous evening. We enjoyed decadent salads (Swiss Chef and Beets with gorgonzola) The dessert was divine, and like our salads, the portions were generous and the quality of ingredients were excellent.
