“4.5 stars. Food was pretty good though not the best I have had. The tacos were good and meaty. There is a condiments bar and a variety of drink options. The location is tough. Parking is at a premium even when it is slow. There are a couple other food carts nearby. Prices were fair. Service was good with a handheld buzzer for when food is ready.I would come again if in the area.“
“Best falafel I ever tasted, best of all, sag bread was yummy option. And i am from SyriaOwner and his wife were so welcoming. The size of the sandwich is really filling ?For sure we will stop for quick authintic homey food whenever we are in Portland.Definitely I recommend Kafta house food.“
“The food was excellent! Some of the best beans and rice I’ve had in a long time. The service was excellent! I had never had Haitian food and was given very kind and helpful advice on what to order and how much to order. Looking forward to going “
“Chilango PDX is the best vegan food cart. Vanessa is so sweet and accommodating. If something is too spicy or not spicy enough, she’ll make you another one. The food is totally five stars and I’m not even a vegan. I’m now bringing all my friends there! Yum!!“
“Come with an empty stomach! A wide and diverse variety of food from around the world. Bbq ribs and brisket is what drew us on but we were pleasantly surprised to find a fully stocked bar, sushi, indian food, and more! Something for all. The sushi burrito place closed too early for me though! Plan to show up before 7pm!!“
“I purchased lunch for my team at work and every one of us couldn’t get enough. To quote one person “it’s like a flavor party in my mouth!” Is an understatement. All of the flavors were perfectly paired, and not overpowering with one or the other. I can’t wait to get more!“
“Beijing House offers a delightful dining experience with its authentic flavors, affordable prices, and generous portions. The food is packed with traditional Chinese tastes, delivering an authentic culinary journey for patrons. With reasonable pricing, it ensures that enjoying delicious meals doesn't break the bank. Additionally, the ample portion sizes cater to hearty appetites, leaving diners fully satisfied.Overall, Beijing House stands out as a great spot to indulge in delicious Chinese cuisine without compromising on taste, value, or atmosphere.“
“Stretch the Noodle is located in the Midtown Beer Garden, which is a cute little oasis close in on the west side. I ordered the Chao Mian with tofu extra spicy. It is so yummy and the portion is extremely generous. Can’t wait to revisit and take people here!!! (the drink in the picture is from the bar cart located in the center of the garden)“
“It's been long overdue for me to write a review here. Best Salmon belly in town I always crave it!!! I'm craving it as I type this. It's crispy, loaded, packed with umami and even comes with some veggies and rice for the perfect bite. The laos dipping sauce is also essential for it. Some other honorable mentions are: Laotion beef jerky, waterfall steak, nam khao and the salt and pepper shrimp and squid. OOH and you can't forget the beignets with all the dipping sauces for a savory dessert or of course, the classic mango sticky rice that you can have customized with different flavored sticky rice. Wash it down with one of their refreshing beverages, thai iced tea, iced ube, and green tea thai tea and so much more.“
“I was walking toward the river and I found this place . It's a cute small street food spot and the owner is so friendly. The service doesn't take long but it works like this : you order , he makes your food , you pay and then it's the next person turn . I ordered chicken yakisoba noodle. Good portion . Good price , taste good . But it was greasy and very salty. That's the reason I gave 4 stars . I am not living in Portland. Otherwise I would go there again .“
“Love the food here! Always nice to have a delicious gluten free treat. The only thing is I wish the open hours were communicated better via signage or instagram. I've been here a few times where google says they're open and they aren't :(“
“Street Tacos were so good! Lots of meat filling and perfectly spiced. Very authentic and the guy working was so nice and gracious. Glad we decided to get takeout here instead of going in search of a sit-down restaurant. Would definitely eat here again when we're back in Portland.“
“These people are one of a kind. They've always been sweet and thoughtful and caring. They've always taken care of me with a special order or telling me where the meat was from. They're always very clean and friendly. The pastrami from New York is out of this world It's the best in the city. I've been going here for years. If I could give them 10 stars I would.“
“If you’re in a long line at Por Que No and realizing you’re not game for a 45 minute wait before you can get your hands on tacos, walk this way.King Burritos is a golden gem of a mini-bus parked on a small but heavy hitting food cart pod on the corner of Miss and Fremont. They make incredible burritos and tacos for a price that feels criminal. Do not miss out, and don’t forget to bring cash — they don’t take cards. (Real talk I take out more cash for this cart than I do for the dispensary up the street.)Get the chorizo breakfast burrito. It cures a bad day like nothing else.“
“I am from San Diego and have had struggles finding solid Mexican food and I think I finally found it! Such great food. The tacos I got were amazing. They were loaded with meat and had great corn tortillas. The salsa they have was also amazing. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend!“
“Chicken And Guns is no joke. I will def come back to this pod specifically for this chicken. The sauces are fire and the simplicity yet care put into the food is ever present. The chicken is an experience and tastes amazing, without the sauce. The "guns" are just broken, deep fried chunks of potato and they're delicious. Even the pickled onions were fire. Worth the trip over the bridge, for sure.“
“Mexican food so good. Flavored nicely even without the sauces I didn't try. When I got to the beans hidden under other good things I asked them where they had been all of my life. I got the seared vegetables with chicken bowl with no rice. My grandson liked bites. Cabbage lime guacamole combo I kept to myself.“
“Got the Mr. Miyagi, (chicken sandwich w/ avocado and some other delicious sauce and stuff), reasonable pricing($10 for sandwhich and chips)and very filling. Super quick service, and the seating arrangement is nice, outdoors w/ picnic tables, plenty of seating and still somehow tables are spaced far enough apart that you can actually enjoy a sense of privacy. Also, free wi-fi is avaliable as well as a couple plug-ins even if you happen to need to charge your headphones for a minute?I try and stop by every time I'm in the area and it's meal time. Keep up the great work!“
“it is in the heart of downtown a couple blocks from Powell Books in the beginning of the park block the most important it is clean and it's a good diversity of food cart they even have a double decker bus that serve coffee in the morning and beer and wine in the evening plenty of seating outside looking at the park block.“
“So happy I finally went to this local food cart! Taco Machine is a little food cart with seating space + a heater provided (huge win for a solo food cart pod)! Alongside this, there is a large selection of tacos and burritos to choose from.I had the breakfast burrito on my visit and it was delicious, I will definitely be back to get some tacos. I highly recommend Taco Machine, it is going to become a normal visit for me!“
“I visited here for the first time. The food was surprisingly good. They offer a quite large menu. We had pad Thai and green curry. They give you a large portion so we could have had an appetizer and one main dish. I will definitely come back and try something more.“
“Love this food cart pod! We live in the neighborhood and couldn’t be happier about all the wonderful options here. It’s clean, has covered seating with heaters and so many wonderful options!! So grateful for all the vegan/vegetarian options!!! Thanks! We’ll be regulars!!“
“The best Philly cheese steaks in the world. They have it mastered! I literally eat here for celebrations and won't eat Philly any place else. Ever! Everyone else is disappointing. The people who work here treat us like an old family friend! Seating available. Great views and glass bottle drinks. In pioneer square. Down town. Can't miss it. Don't miss it. Must try!“
“This is s stellar food truck. The staff is friendly and courteous. I had the carnitas burrito. I loved the grilled exterior and robust flavor of the carnitas. I will come back again and again for lunch! This food card is located on a block full of food carts, this is a safe bet for bringing coworkers as there is something for everyone at this pod.“
“Delicious breakfast perfect for a snack at the farmer's market. Enchanted Sun is located at the end of PSU's farmer's market on Saturdays from around 9 am to 2 pm. We went around 11 am and the line was about 30 min. Once the order is in, though, we got our food relatively quickly. Cash preferred as they have an extra Venmo charge. No seating (it's a farmers market). It there are plenty of benches nearby. The burritos were delicious, the eggs were soft scrambled, and the potatoes were well seasoned. They're not very large (or maybe I'm used to California-sized burritos haha), but a good price for $7-9.“
“By far my favorite coffee in Portland. They are so nice and there’s homemade tamales and the coffee is strong and flavorful. They knock the trendy coffee shops right out of the water. I literally count down the weekend until Monday when they open for the “
“I live near chunky subs and i cannot stress enough how perfect of a place is and how often i am there. Their tacos are just the best, the service is always so kind, and the food is fast and delicious every time. Seriously, out of all the food carts in this area, this is the one I recommend most highly. Order food from here please you will not regret it.“
“Great food truck! My friend and I got a Nutella and banana sweet crepe. They were very accommodating with allergies, we ended up getting a vegan crepe instead of the regular. We will be going back soon and trying the other items on the menu!“
“I went back for dinner for 3 people including potstickers for an app and a Thai Iced tea...for just under $40!Got to try their Mango Fried Rice (with shrimp) Crispy Cashew Chicken and Tom Kha soup. Everything was fresh and tasty, I just wish i would have asked for more spice. Thai Iced Tea hit the spot especially for only $2.50!Parking: If you can't find a spot just circle the block and one will come up!“
“I spend as much time there as I do at my place. I usually get food from Mama Noores(?) Or the cart right next to it. They all seem to have incredible food. It's just such a relaxed small town feel like all of Hillsdale. It's always been like that and I hope it always will be.“
“Was at the Enterprise parking lot across the street, picking up a rental, and could smell really good Mexican food coming from this place. I had to check it out, and I'm so glad I did because i'm thoroughly impressed. Everything I ordered was so tasty. And there was more on the menu that I can't wait to try next time! Don't miss checking this place out for sure.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian burrito was ?“
