“Hubby had homemade linguini alfredo and I had beef filet. The food was FABULOUS. Cooked to perfection, everything tasted sublime. Soft live classical guitar set a relaxing ambiance. “We found this place on Yelp. Restaurant itself was a typical bar, nothing fancy. However, the waitress was great, taking care of the entire place by herself! She knew the regulars, and had their drinks ready when they walked in. The food was very good - clam strips, burgers, French dip, and pastrami sandwich...and everyone loved the fresh cut fries! Definitely a good find!! We will be back next time we are in Seaside!“

“My husband and I shared an order of cod fish and chips for lunch today. It was perfectly prepared and presented. The service was good and friendly too. “Very good service. The prawns were delicious. The well done ground beef steak was a little overcooked (even for well done) and the baked potatoe wasn't very hot. The ice cream for dessert was a little freezer burned, but it was all good enough to want to go back. They weren't very busy, but all of the tourists were in downtown Seaside. The issues with the food could have been because we were there so close to closing time.“
“I had 2 meals here. The first was 3 piece Halibut and Tater tots. The Halibut was the best I have ever had. 1.5 inch thick and great taste. The 2nd meal was Halibut steak baked potato and desert. The Halibut was pan-fried, and they used some sort of herb on it. Halibut doesn't need herbs . All that does is downgrade the natural flavor of the fish. The desert I ordered was Apple crisp with a scoop of ice cream. That is where the food score takes a drop. The topping or the crisp was soggy , not crisp at ALL. The flavor was fine, but it was like it was old or something. Apple crisp has to be crisp, not SOGGY!!“

They're sauces to go on their pancakes are amazing I would recommend this to anyone visiting the seaside area for breakfast. Or for lunch they also have awesome lunches. “Food was Great, but the only waitress walked out and never came back. Had to find someone in kitchen, who was Hispanic and didn't speak much English, said he called his boss and said waitress walked out so it's Free. I was like WTH?“
“If I could have legally refused to pay for the food we got last night and the service delays, we would have asked them to pay us for being there. It ruined my birthday and I have never in 15 years of being on Facebook, left a negative review. I watched staff comping people of delays, quality and more and I was hoping it was just because it was complaining tourist's or something. We decided to let it ride and we ordered drinks, they never arrived. Had to ask for them again and the bar tender from the other side of building brought my bottle beer over and still my wife had no beverage. He had to go and get that. We ordered an appetizer, and it never came, then, watched the couple behind us discussing how upset they were about the food they got, I started to get worried. After a few min, I heard the male waiter get sarcastic and say, so I'm sorry this is really late (they got the appetizer they ordered after their dinner was almost done) "do you want this or not", and she said not, well it was the same appetizer we ordered. He took it to the back, it sat for 5 min and when I inquired about our appetizer, the same looking plate and setup appetizer the other ladies refused, ended up with us it looked like and at the same time as our dinner. Now for dinner that was also frustrating as, we wanted prime rib. the whole reason we came there. Well there were two couples sat down after we were sat and had been waiting 10 min and still no one. Well, we noticed that the two couples that came after use had been given drinks and orders taken. Finally a nice young lady came over and said she was sorry for the wait as she didn't realize that we were her table. When we ordered, she said oh sorry, the last two prime rib just sold and asked us what we wanted in exchange. At that point wasn't super happy. But every place else was long lines. We got the rib eye and my wife's was way over cooked and mine too under cooked. It would have been a mess to send back and we were starving. Ya not good tasting. The worst part was, this year has been a horrible mess from the surgery, the liver and kidney failure mess, (I wasn't drinking tonight it was non alcoholic beer), and family and work craziness and I simply wanted a nice dinner. It was such a horrible mess and let down. Still really upset this morning. $116 plus a small tip for the nice waitress was $116 too much. :(“

“The view here is what makes this place incredible! That alone is worth a visit. The food seems to have gone downhill over the years. There are a few things that are still good, but definitely some better spots in town. Overall, a great place still.“
