Sometimes portions shouldn’t matter for health reasons, I’m not complaining . The taste is very enjoyable with the spices, it’s so easy to eat.“

“I happened upon a restaurant that serves authentic Chinese cuisine, including dishes like Mongolian beef, barbecue fried rice, house chow mein, and walnut shrimp, which sounded quite appealing. The staff were very welcoming, and the prices seemed reasonable, with plates ranging from $14 to $15. April, in particular, was very friendly. My children especially enjoyed the noodles, and we all appreciated the fresh food and generous portions, which left us with leftovers to enjoy later.“

“I did not get a room, but the service was great and the staff were inviting. I've been to other McMenamins and I have enjoyed this location the most. You are able to walk around with drinks, there's a golf course, and fire pits. It was a great time!“

“The food is OK, even though the beer is great! We ordered the fish and chips and the Aztec salad with fried chicken.

The fish and chips were good, although the portion size for the price was a bit disappointing. The remoulade was great though! The chicken on the salad was done really well, but the salad was kind of meh. Definitely not something that keeps a person coming back. Plus, the prices are high in comparison to other places with more interesting menus. It might be time for McMenamins to freshen up their food offerings.

The atmosphere is typical McMenamins, lots of vintage kitsch. It's cool and I love that they bring new life to old buildings and institutions (literally in this case). Service here was fine.“

“Always a pleasure to come to Edgefield. And our go to is Black Rabbit. The food is always great and the atmosphere is wonderful. The dining staff is always full of energy. The eggs Benedict is nice, not the best I’ve had but still good. The croissants are really good and the beer is lovely. Although a beer at the power station outside is really nice. Don’t forget to play pool downstairs, too.“

“Edgefield is probably McMenamins biggest properties. It has a distillery, winery and brewery onsite. The food is pretty good at the various restuarants on property. Its mostly burgers/sandwhiches but done well. They also a small golf course, soaking pools, movie theater and pool hall. All of the alcohol is made onsite and has an extra element of locally produced to it. I recommend getting your McMenamins passport and taking advantage of the perks.“

“Hands down the BEST chicken biryani I’ve ever tried. I drive 40+ minutes 1-2 times a week just to get it because it’s so good. You get so much that we split it between two people and it fills us both up. I’ve tried many other Indian restaurants but none of them compare to this one. Great prices and even better food.“

“We came through this part of town, so we decided to have dinner at this place. We ordered the number 57 Chicken Teriyaki with Beef Riblets and a teriyaki bowl. The Chicken tasted pretty good and moist with good flavor. The Riblets had lots of sweet flavors and tasted pretty good. The rice was almost perfect. Not too soft and not too hard. The salad that came with it, needed some dressing to make it even better. But it did help refresh the body.“
