“The dishes we had, Green Curry and Pad Thai, were the best we've ever had. The portion size was filling and the staff were very welcoming and accommodated our vegetarian preferences. The ambiance was very nice and I would love to go again!“

“Expect higher prices than normal for blander food than normal -- a reflection of the socioeconomic area and community of Troutdale.
1. Good variety of food and selection of carts.
2. Clean areas and building.
3. Food is typically bland across all the carts compared to other areas such as The Fork in Wood Village, Gresham Food Carts, Rockwood Market, and pretty much any other food cart area around Gresham/Portland. This is 100% due to catering to the taste of Troutdale's community.
For point #3, using the Thai cart and Mexican cart as standards of spice and heat, they don't ask you spice level when you order (no spice by default for Troutdale folks) and spice levels are incredibly low. Medium spice level here is mild compared to other areas. Troutdale just can't handle spice.
If you end up wanting Mexican here, for the love of god, just walk to the Troutdale Burrito Shop.
This place has size and variety going for it. For flavor and saving your wallet, go to other food cart areas.“

“The best family oriented Italian restaurant with the best authentic Italian food in Oregon..“
“I love the historic feeling of the place. Rooms are very special and talk about a specific person who played a role in the farm. Grounds are fantastic. You don't need to go anywhere, you have it all in one place, pub restaurant, theater, winery, distillery, you name it.“

“We were recommended to visit McMenamins Edgefield while in the Portland area and I'm glad we did! Such an awesome campus full of different bars and restaurants. We ate at the Power Station Pub and it was delicious - loved the space and great service.“

“If there is one drive-through that is truly worth the wait, it’s Sugarpine Drive-In. 💛🙌 Heading out toward Mount Hood and the breathtaking Oregon Gorge, you’ll find this small, unassuming spot that was once a gas station—now transformed into an upscale, thoughtfully designed, and wildly comforting drive-in. This is not the place you want to skip when you’re on your way to Vista House or Multnomah Falls. The warmth, hospitality, and intentionality behind everything they do makes it feel like a destination, not just a stop. The staff alone deserves a standing ovation. You can tell they truly love what they do, and it shows in every plate they hand out. The food here isn’t just delicious—it’s edible art. First things first: always try the sandwich special of the month. The owners and chefs frequently collaborate with local restaurants, and somehow they manage to create sandwiches that are completely out of this world. Everything is made from scratch, and the rotating monthly specials keep things exciting and seasonal. My top two favorites from the past year: • Albacore Tuna Melt – This one comes around a few times a year and it is perfect. Fresh, clean albacore paired with red onion, mayo, and celery creates a balance that’s both light and hearty. I always add the chili crunch oil (because chili crunch belongs on almost everything ❤️😅), and it takes it to another level. • Pear / Apple Melt (seasonal) – Depending on the season, this sandwich is pure magic. The sweetness of the fruit paired with the bold, savory richness of the cheese creates a flavor combination that literally reminds me of that scene in Ratatouille—an explosion of taste you want to relive over and over again. Perfectly cooked pears or apples, usually a blend of one hard cheese and one soft cheese, chives, and that waffle-style Texas toast… unreal. Their tomato soup deserves its own shoutout too—deep, rich Roma tomato flavor with no cream or dairy, making it perfect for a cool fall day and a big bonus for anyone with allergies or dietary restrictions. 💛 And finally—you must get dessert. I don’t make the rules; I just enforce them. 😌 The handmade soft-serve ice cream is next-level. Every sundae they create is a literal work of art—almost too beautiful to eat (almost). They also offer thoughtful vegan and vegetarian options, doing their absolute best to make sure everyone can enjoy something special. I could honestly go on forever about Sugarpine. We lost our Nordstrom Café here in Clackamas, and I will happily drive out to the Gorge for Sugarpine because it brings back that same feeling—elevated, aesthetically comforting food that feels like home. 12/10 worth the wait. Pro tip: you can order ahead online during the week or in winter when things are quieter. In summer, online ordering often shuts off due to volume—but trust me, the drive-through line is still 100% worth it. ❤️ Yes. It really is that good.👍“

“We attended McMenamin’s Wassail Cider fest in January so we wanted to try more of their ciders and this is what popped up online. We got the cider flight and the red wine flight, both of which were really good. However, the wine flight they gave us 2 of the 4 glasses, then told us to come back to the back for the other 2, which was a bit weird and honestly I wasn’t a fan of. The service was also pretty lackluster, it was walk up service, which seems to be pretty common in the PNW so we’ve grown accustomed to it, but when its walk up service, I expect a little more when I do come to the bar to order. There were two employees, a blonde woman that I’d guess was in her 20s and a middle aged gentleman. The woman was very nice and enthusiastic and seemed eager to help, but the man seemed like he was doing everything he could to avoid serving guests; when I returned to the bar for the second half of our wine flight, he noticed me, but proceeded to drink water, pace around, look in the storage closet, take a step towards me, turn around, take his sweatshirt off, look around again, then finally came up. As a bartender myself, it seemed like all the things that someone does when they don’t want to help a guest, so they try to waste as much time as possible until another co-worker comes to help them. The vibe was pretty cool being in the basement with glass windows all around so you could see the wine barrels, but it was a bit too dark in my opinion, which made it seem kind of dingy being in the basement. I also wasn’t a fan that when you walk in, there are no signs or menus, just brochures advertising other McMenamin’s properties, and the bar is very small with standing room only and very crowded. It reminded me of a busy college bar where I had to fight through to order drinks, but in this case I had to do that just to see a menu, let alone order a drink; not exactly the experience I want from a tasting room. Overall though, it was still unique experience and I’m sure it would be really cool to stay on property, but I don’t think I’d go back.“

“Washabi sushi is one of a unique place to try donut and burger sushi. The staffs are pretty nice and friendly. Foods are absolutely delicious and tasty with nice presentations. I would love to come back and introduce my friends to visit this place.“
“Gorgeous grounds that you can spend hours walking. This property was formerly a work farm for the local poor. It has been repurposed as a vineyard, hotel, spa, restaurant, bar, golf course and more! There are many events held here but it is absolutely worth a visit even if you don't plan to stay the night. Check out the wine cellar or espresso bar for some great local options, or head inside to the gift shop for some kitschy finds.“

“I love the Mai tai . I’m bummed the price went up with the economy. And I’m bummed that they won’t rinse out my cup anymore when I wanna reuse so it saves you guys money with Plastic. But they’re always friendly and they taste amazing. I love the organic selection.“

“Hands down the BEST chicken biryani I’ve ever tried. I drive 40+ minutes 1-2 times a week just to get it because it’s so good. You get so much that we split it between two people and it fills us both up. I’ve tried many other Indian restaurants but none of them compare to this one. Great prices and even better food.“

“So first and foremost, they have very good food. We ordered Orange Chicken, House Lo Mein and a special which consisted Fried Rice, Shrimp, Sweet & Sour Pork, and BBQ Pork. We were passing thru and gave this place a chance because we had to stop at the Loves truck stop next door. The worst part about this restaurant is is that it’s “grimy”. Despite wiping our table off, there was still a layer of sticky, tacky something. The restroom doors are the same as well. It needs a thorough cleaning to put it mildly. I love a good greasy spoon restaurant, so if you like Chinese food, it’s worth a visit.“

“I am blown away! This is the best meal of my life. We got the fish spread, both salads, wild boar (double yum, no knife required), and the ham. Service was exemplary. Holiday drinks were perfect. Ambiance is out of this world. This restaurant is homey not fancy at the same time. Staff were exceedingly nice and portions were generous.“

“I appreciate any business that is willing to show appreciation to veterans with deals. It may seem silly to some, but there is a lot of "lip service" without people putting their money where their mouth is. That gratitude, however trivial, can mean a lot to a veteran like myself. Thank you.“

“We came through this part of town, so we decided to have dinner at this place. We ordered the number 57 Chicken Teriyaki with Beef Riblets and a teriyaki bowl. The Chicken tasted pretty good and moist with good flavor. The Riblets had lots of sweet flavors and tasted pretty good. The rice was almost perfect. Not too soft and not too hard. The salad that came with it, needed some dressing to make it even better. But it did help refresh the body.“

“We went here for the first time today as a family and Oh My Gosh! First off, that was the most delicious pizza I have ever eaten. The price was very reasonable, The staff was absolutely excellent, quick and very friendly. I also love the outdoor seating option. I honestly give this place a 10/10. We most definitely will be coming back. And the real seasonings on the pizza? can you say perfect?“
