“Having grown up in this area Bellagio’s has always been one of our top go-to’s for pizza - and West Linn is home to the first location! Lots of diverse flavor options you won’t see at big chain stores. The crust is always my favorite part of Bellagio’s - so soft and airy! Always have had a great experience with both carry out and delivery services 🙂 Management here seems to really care about their team members and community.“

“Every time I go there I am blown away at how good the pastries are. Seriously, everything i have ordered were delicious. The flaky crunchy crusts, the cake body, the crumble tops, the fruit or almond fillings, all so good. Probably the best bakery in Portland.“

“Vegan noodles and tea leaf salad need work. I was disappointed by them especially for the price point. Noodles were just noodles, a little bok choy and mushrooms. Looked like something I would cook myself when I was running out of groceries. Carrot salad and beef curry were great though!“

“While in Portland, we researched some of the top-rated coffee spots, and this is one that we found! We can confirm that the coffee was pretty darn good and so were the pastries. We actually ended up bumping into someone that we had met at church the day prior, so we enjoyed breakfast together--they had adequate seating on a typical, busy Monday morning. The atmosphere is really enjoyable too, and there's outdoor seating as well.“

“It's absolutely a 5 star place. This is simply a marvelous find! It is now my go to place to meet up with people and have a cozy visit. They have an entire wall of teas from which to choose, and knowledgeable, informative, and patient staff; very helpful for folks like me who don't know much about teas but are happy to learn. A marvelous ambience; warm and inviting. And in addition to the teas, they have a guitar and a piano, if you want to play, in addition to a couple shelves of family friendly games or books to be used if you're in the mood. It is such a cozy and warm place to be!“

“I only got a loaf of bread here today. I am looking forward to trying it and also knowing there’s a great place to take friends and family who are GF when they come to town. The staff was informative and shared their menu and the atmosphere is adorable and lovely and comfortable. Can’t wait to return!“

“Slowbomb is on my regular rotation because they have great coffee and they know what to do with it. The breakfast sandwich menu makes this place a one stop shop in the morning. You can text your sandwich order in ahead of time to make your stop more efficient as well. Cookies and pup cups too!“

“This review is based on our last few minutes paying the bill, everything else was top notch. Our group of 4 was chatting when our bills arrived and continued to visit, and our waiter came by to gather abit later and told him it was ready. At this time we Bagan to review our bills to pay one with a card and we were paying cash. As soon as I placed the cash in their bifold and placed on the table another waiter came to the table and stated being just like our waiter and dressed similarly. Worth noting she was about 110 5 foot or so with our waiter at 220 plus and 6ft or so wit a great beard. I stated that our waiter had much bigger feet and a great beard with my wife commenting about our matching hairlines... lol right. No next thing we get is she identifies as law enforcement and proceeds to walk away with an elevated voice "I'll kick beat you down" I turned left to my friend and sain now she wants to wrestle. At this point mist people are watching and then just short of screaming she yells "I'll Kick your A$$". And indeed the entire restaurant is watching on what was going on, I simply went back to visiting with our group not knowing what was next. Not long afterwards our waiter walked by and as he did thank me for the tip. No follow up from management nothing. So probably about 15 minutes after this a few other groups had left and we started our departure and still nothing. Over the years we have been here many times as a couple and a few large groups, after this event not to sure we could return for an enjoyable dining experience with their staff threatening some ones life unprovoked. “I really loved this spot. It feels a bit off the beaten path but in a hidden gem sort of way. The staff was all very friendly and the broths were great. Would recommend getting the half-and-half option for best flavor. Loved the garlic soy sauce and enjoyed the peanut sauce too.

I ate here by myself and had a perfect portion after being full to fill a to go container when ordering 4 inclusions. If you're unsure how much to order, start small and add on later.

Only comment would be to be careful on very wet or humid days as the floor can be a bit slippery.“

“I think I prefer this place over Grand Central. The sandwich that I had the tuna salad I think was superior to Grand Central and a hair cheaper. “My son stopped at Bastions this past June 2025 and purchased 2 good sizes of your coffee cake. It was exceptional and so moist. We couldn't put our forks down! We're the ones who purchased a pecan pie from bastions last Christmas and a pumpkin pie last Thanksgiving. Both outstanding! Everything we've tried is excellent including the donuts. “We absolutely loved having our 55-person wedding at Bar Carlo. The owner Mel is at the same time very supportive and very low-key, which made for a smooth planning process and day-of event. The space is gorgeous, and has multiple connected wings, which allowed for the the party to morph seamlessly over the night from barside cocktail hour to outdoor patio ceremony to dinner buffet to dance floor. The space is already a beautifully decorated artwork, and Mel lets you decide how to arrange the space for your event, but you can also bring your own decorations/sound system/llama and she can handle those additions easily. The food and drinks were delicious too, and Mel was able to accommodate our entirely vegan and gluten-free menu without hesitation. Overall we loved the unique-ness, flexibility and good vibes of the space and the people of Bar Carlo, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cute and fun space for their wedding or other event. -Nicola & Lou“

“The gluten free food here is some of the best I've ever had. You'd never guess it's gluten free. The fried chicken is crunchy, moist as you bite into it and flavorful. Even better are the fish and chips. If you have celiacs and want to eat food you've not had in years this is the place. The beers are gluten free and delicious.“

“Cool, casual vibe. My party ordered our food to go. Out food was prepared rather quickly. Nice dining room. They had outdoor seating out front along with a back patio.
