“My daughter and I first tried the electric slider company about 3 months ago here in West Linn, Oregon. This place is great and the staff is so friendly. Honestly we go there twice a week. Probably shouldn't but it is addictive and it is definitely affordable. They cater to my daughter who is gluten free and make it real easy“

I appreciated that alone, but when his coworker came back with more rock hard avacados (lol) he still made it right and I still got my delicious sandwich. “My first time experiencing this gem of a place. I came to perform music on thier great live music stage, and went in to grab a sandwich before my band the "Desert Moondogs" started playing. I have lived in New York for many years and experienced the best deli sandwiches there, and was beyond surprised and happy with the Tigard Beach Hut Deli offerings. Every time I come here, they hand me a spicy chicken sandwich with the kind of accuracy and warmth usually associated with a beloved grandmother or a highly trained diplomatic corps. The order is always right. The staff is always absurdly pleasant. The sandwich arrives hot, juicy, and spicy enough to remind me that I am still tethered to earthly sensation.

I do not come here for a political awakening. I come here because the waffle fries are crisp, the chicken is reliable, and for one brief shining moment in a world of chaos, someone looks me in the eye and says “my pleasure” like they mean it.
