“Note: it closes at 9 but the kitchen closes at 8. I found that out at 8:01, after my beer was poured, but the bartender took great care of me and had someone in back make a really good salad. Crisis averted! And that beer was the best Porter I've had in years.“
“I think there is a potential for 5 stars, but our experience, while not the worst, was not the best either. Service was slow even though when we got there, there was a 6 top that was waiting for others and was waiting to order, and one other 4 top besides ours. There was 6 people at the bar, but the bartender was there for them.Once we did get service, our waitress was very kind. We were able to put in our drink orders and food together. We got the meatballs and crostini, the loaded baked potato with pulled pork, and 2 orders of chicken fingers for our kids. The meatballs came out piping hot and had excellent flavor. My loaded baked potato was hard, and everything on it was freezing cold, including the pulled pork upon being brought out to our table. Both of our kids' chicken fingers seemed like they were just cooked in the microwave instead of being baked or deep-fried because the breading was soggy. Overall, the idea and the flavors were there, but there were just a few things that missed the mark and could use improved upon. I did let our waitress know about potato and asked her to make the chef aware. Another thing is, they didn't have any salt or pepper on the table, nor were we asked if we'd like refills on any of our drinks.I must say though, the ambiance was wonderful, and I loved that they had a whole game section and blackboard for kids to play. It makes for a very inviting, family friendly atmosphere. I would absolutely go back if were back that way.“
“Loved it n it did not cost extra for the waffle cone.. the custard was so smooth n creamy!! It was such a treat seeing how I love ❤️ to try different places with original Ice cream to find the true meaning of good ol ice cream. Only one other place was this good but they have more options n more flavors was a place in NY in Binghamton. So this place is just so nice n I'll be back if I can! Worth the drive for great custard cream. Thanks!“

“We were a party of 4 and well taken care of by our server. Sorry I didn't get his name but he's the young guy, short brown hair, about 5'11". Hope you can pass along the compliments.I ordered the Beef Stroganoff, and this is where I felt somewhat shortchanged as it had a whole lot more pasta than meat. It was really good, but it did leave me asking "where's the beef?" It's the kind of dish that made me wish I had chosen something else off the menu. The sausage platter someone else in our group ordered was really good and then I wish I went with a steak which also looked great.I'd definitely go back. The outdoor seating had a great ambiance of the street view too.“

“Fun throwback to yesteryear. The hot food is good. Youngest said the chicken nuggets were the best he ever had. Chili cheese fries were ok. Might try the bacon cheese fries next time. Cowboy burger was tasty. Portions are just about right. The seasonal tests were awesome: cinnamon roll sundae... wow. Pumpkin pie shake... wow. Oldest said the apple cider shake was very good... different but very good. Youngest loved the Graham Slam hand dipped ice cream.“

“Awesome place. We only buy our milk there. It is real milk, not the skimmed off, watered down grocery store version. All of their cows produce A2 protein milk which is something I had not heard of. I thought I was lactose intolerant, but not so. I have no issues drinking this. I suspect there are many others like me who could enjoy milk again. The ice cream, milkshakes and Wagyu Cross Beef is so good. Kind and welcoming environment. You can hang out with the Pet Goats, Calves and Pet Pigs at your leisure. The animals are all treated like family with the attention and respect they deserve. The shop also has other things for sale from local artists as well as their own creations. All in all this local farm is well deserving of your time and money.“
