“We hit the restaurant a bit after 1, which was perfect. Carlisle was hold one of its famous car shows but the restaurant was not crowded. Our waitress was friendly, efficient and attentive with refilling water and checking in us. Our group ordered a southwestern salad, chicken BLT wrap, rampage wrap and a ham peppercorn pretzel sandwich. All very tasty and we were members of the clean plate club.“

“We were in town for the big swap meet and decided to try this place. It was packed because of the swap meet but we got sat very quickly. The service was ON POINT!! Apps, salads and meals timed perfectly, drinks refilled without asking just absolutely seamless for how busy they were! The food was BOMB! We will definitely be back next time we are in town what a gem this place is!“

“Stopped by for lunch for some good tasty food I had the meatloaf and it was very good some of the best restaurant meatloaf I have had. The service was goof and quick didn't have to wait long for the food after I ordered. The restaurant was nice and clean all around it was a good experience and I will go back again.“

“Great service, The food was good The ambiance was the food, and it was amazing But overall the service is great and I think it really carried the whole experience to a 4 star because our waitress was so sweet and caring the place could be a little cleaner and a little less pulp in fruit juice but that's really overall it I would highly recommend. “My wife and I ate here recently. We had reservations and sat at the bar, waiting for our table and ended up actually eating dinner at the bar and gave up our reservation in the dining room. The service was absolutely amazing there and the vibe was really cool.the food was out of this world, cocktails were on point and they had a very nice wine list. Really enjoyed the espresso martinis and all of the entrées were delicious. This is one of our new favorite restaurants in Carlisle for sure. We will definitely be back!“

“The barracks is my favorite course. For the first time in over 17 years of golf, a crow picked my ball up and flew away with it. Longest drive of the day. The course maintenance is top notch. You can tell the employees care about the course and love the game because it's always in great shape.“

“We were a party of 4 and well taken care of by our server. Sorry I didn't get his name but he's the young guy, short brown hair, about 5'11". Hope you can pass along the compliments.I ordered the Beef Stroganoff, and this is where I felt somewhat shortchanged as it had a whole lot more pasta than meat. It was really good, but it did leave me asking "where's the beef?" It's the kind of dish that made me wish I had chosen something else off the menu. The sausage platter someone else in our group ordered was really good and then I wish I went with a steak which also looked great.I'd definitely go back. The outdoor seating had a great ambiance of the street view too.“

“Note: it closes at 9 but the kitchen closes at 8. I found that out at 8:01, after my beer was poured, but the bartender took great care of me and had someone in back make a really good salad. Crisis averted! And that beer was the best Porter I've had in years.“

“Food was quite tasty and filling! Service was satisfactory. Location was nice and nice my wife and I could walk in and get a table on Friday evening. The place wasn't too busy but was noisy. We appreciated the funny "bar signs" on the wall. Nice convenient spot and nice to check out as part of a "beer trail" I'm going through. The beer cheese burger was delicious and filling and my wife enjoyed her large plate of nachos with pulled pork. Tried and true, had heard of the restaurant before, and see it's been around for 30 years when we visited.Parking: Plenty of street parking around town and it was easy to walk around town and find this restaurant and other bars and dessert places around town. Nice place to visit.“

“I loved my skillet meal. Hubby is spoiled by Perkins pancakes so he wasn't too excited. But I would definitely go back. I must say though, that they had the BEST coffee I've EVER had in a restaurant. It was SO good.I liked their menu overall too.“

“Was here many moons ago. However, I always hear they have amazing wings, so I wanted to go back. Their parking lot is pretty big, and they do have an outside for those nicer months. Be warned it's a HEAVY smoking bar. It was not pleasant at all! I would go back in nicer months and go outside. The bartender was a super nice guy! We didn't order any drinks. We had just come for the wings. They were a little pricey about $15 for a dozen but had lots of flavors to pick from! I decided on mild garlic that I requested extra crispy. Let me say I would have given a 5 stars bc the wings were that good, but bc of the heavy smoke, it went down a star. They also do not have homemade ranch, which to me is a big thing.“

“I read the other review on Yelp and decided I need to check this place out. I went with two of my coworkers and none of us were disappointed! The food is Amazing! We tried an array of different chicken (baked, BBQ, and Fried) and side dishes combinations. The price is extremely reasonable! $12 for a big to-go box of 3-4 pieces of chicken, 2 home made sides, corn bread, and the "yak" drink. Lol! Don't let the name fool you, the "yak" is delicious It's currently a hole in the wall, if you blink you'll drive past it. It is located in the plaza of the McCarren building supply but along the Louther street side under a set of old metal stairs. There is a small hand written sign on the edge of the building and an "open" flag over the door. The only downside is there are no tables to eat at yet. The space is plenty big enough and I assume a dine-in option will eventually be available. This business is only 5-6 months old and I expect it to become a Carlisle Staple in the future! I look forward to introducing everyone I know to this place, maybe I'll see you there :)!“

“Our overall experience was great. Alexandria was our server and she was simply awesome. She has a keen eye and very attentive to detail. She helped us with our order, provided suggestions, and created a welcoming environment for us. Not sure of the chefs name but our salmon was great also!! Best service ever. Thanks Alex!!!!“

“The waiter Tyler was super polite, punctual, and had great customer service skills. Definitely underrated he made the experience that much more. Place was clean and food was good, normally my order gets messed up because I change it a lot but everything was as I ordered. This was my second time here and it’s the best Waffle House in the area, will probably be back in the near future.“

Only complaint was waitress was very much not friendly. Obviously either a bad day or the one off for the place. “Used to visit Red Robin more often, been years since I’ve eaten at one. First time visiting this one. Food was as good as I remembered. But, like everything else, prices are much higher than my last visit. Nevertheless, still worth the visit. I do find it crazy that they charge $2.99 to play unlimited games. You’d think this would be complimentary to entertain your kids while waiting for your meals. It was interesting the adult plates were plain white while the kid’s dishes had interesting pictures on them. I guess that’s their solution to entertaining the kids. The art on the walls was as random as I remembered. The PacMan one was my favorite. The most confusing piece of art was on the ceiling. It contained many different pictures in a nice montage. The confusion was why all the pictures faced one direction with the exception of the black and white pic of tepees. I have no idea why this one picture faces the opposite direction than all the others. Service was nice for the large party we had, the waitress and manager checked in often. The only issue was lack of refill offers for our drinks. The offer was made after a noticeable dry spell of the check-ins and right before the asking about the check. All in all, good visit, good food, and nice (but slightly confusing) art.Parking: Shared parking lot with the strip mall“

“A family favorite to dine in. Usually a special treat, but each time they are fast, friendly, and provide a great meal consistently. The crew gets along well which really shows in their work and spirits. The cooks truly know what they're doing in the back as the food comes out great each time.“

There seem to be more errors with orders during the busy times. With that said, any issues were promptly resolved. The staff is very customer centric.The coffee isn't great.“
