“The four of us stopped here on our way to Boston for breakfast andthe service was excellent! Our waitresses, Vicky and Sarah, a mother, daughter duo were so friendly and really complimented our experience.The food was over the top delicious. My wife loved the fact that she could order a la cart With just the proper amount of food for her, so there was no wastage. The servings were very generous and everybody enjoyed everything to the last drop. I forgot to mention one of the employees rescue a hummingbird that got caught in the awning. That made our morning!“

“We stopped by for supper May 30 2025. Our waitress was Alyssa she was wonderful helping me with my food allergies very thoughtful you have a wonderful worker in her.I had the ham with baked potato and cottage cheese my husband had the 2 smoked pork chops with a baked potato and cucumber salad the meal was wonderfully cooked well and so delicious Thank you for a great experience eating at you restaurant.“

“For awhile, there was some turnover in the cook staff and the service and food was not very good to be honest. Some of these issues seem to have been fixed and changes have been made for the better. Service is much faster and food quality has improved. If you haven't been there in some time, give it another chance. I'm glad to be patronizing again.“

“My family and I visited Avalon Ale House not long ago and I felt I needed to share. The friendly staff was very attentive to our table. The exceptional food selection was a plus! I would recommend this to someone who has not visited and we will definitely be back again! Keep up the good work!!“

“Today was my first visit to Firepit and I will definitely be back! The waitress (Alexa) was friendly and knowledgeable, the chicken shawarma bowl was insanely good and the restaurant was clean and had plenty of parking. Highly recommend!“

“I really love the food here, and never had a bad meal. We love going for breakfast and glad you changed from home fries to hash browns. But we don`t get there for breakfast much because you changed your hours. For us 10am is to late when you get up around 6am.Please try to open around 8am. I hate to have to go some place else for breakfast. Thank you“

“Thoroughly felt welcomed mid-afternoon today at Perkins of Hanover! The Staff made sure someone was getting me my drink. Amy made 'The Best(special order) Chocolate Root Beer Shake for me. My HOT food was out in no time! The pictures on Perkins Menu are
SO helpful - but always a tough decision cuz the food is always good.... Best pancakes(especially in the Fall- the pumpkin ones), waffles, all types of eggs and getting into Dinners - Roast Turkey with the Works, yummy Beef Pot Roast and several options of seafood. They've even made the Tilapia for me for breakfast before! Fish is 'brain' food, an ideal start to my day! I LOVE that they have All Day Breakfast! AND I was able to donate to a very worthwhile community cause - customers & staff, alike, were donating left & right to a local family in need. KUDOS to all Staff at Perkins of Hanover - SERVING customers and the community!“

“My husband and I order from here at least once a week. They have great food, they are convenient to our location and they meet all our exceptions when it comes to take out orders. My favorite by far is their Philly Cheese Steak Pizza! Oh my gosh...it is so good. If you like the sub you will love the pizza.“

“Great place with both outdoor and indoor seating. They have crabs, seafood, and broasted chicken. There are a good assortment of sides. The broasted chicken was awesome, and my wife really liked the crabs. It's a casual place with a nice casual atmosphere. It can be loud. We spent about $60 for the two of us, including the tip. That's comparable to what we spend at Mission or Red Robin and less than we typocally spend at Long Horn. Hanover is about an hour and a half from where we live. Today we were in the area for other reasons and decided to give Big Mike's a try. We will definitely come back, just to eat here, even if we don't have any other reason to go to Hanover.“

“We had this bar recommended to us, so we decided to give it a try. We came here Friday for dinner. Not sure if we went in the correct side, we went to the bar side that had limited seating. However, the food and service was pretty good. I got a finger licking chicken sandwich with fries and the cream of crab soup. Cream of crab was a big bowl and sandwich waspretty good. Fiance got a soft shell crab sandwich with fries. She said it was good, just wish it was a little bigger. Overall, was a pleasant experience here. Good service and food, at affordable prices.“

“I just got home and ate their food for the first time. I got the pulled pork plate, and I chose potato salad and Mac and cheese. The plate came with a piece of corn bread as well. YUM!!! I’ve been waiting to try this place, and today was finally the day. I will be back often! So happy to have a place like this in Dover. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the staff was very nice as well.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our New Years Eve dinner at Longhorn. The wait was 45 mins. + as expected for a table of 4. When our wait exceeded that, and my spot on the list (link connected to text) appeared to be 11th, I decided my kids and I will head somewhere else with faster service and try again another time. I approached the hostess to notify her and was assured we were only minutes away of being sat and that the link was oftentimes misleading. Grateful for this, we, of course, stayed. Our meal was surprisingly timely and delicious despite the full house and our server Kyle was outstanding. I heard many other servers apologizing for a delay or long wait but, as far as me & my kiddos were concerned, it was just fine. We all enjoyed it and am quite content bringing the leftovers home for another meal.“

“It’s a good place to eat but the lady in the black sweatshirt that was working tonight blonde hair she needs to cool her tude a little bit if she did that to me I would have told her off. If she doesn’t like someone keep it to herself and not in front of customers. That is what drives business away and loses employees. This was at the Hanover location“
